That happened to me a few times, it's very unsettling at first

I was seven at the time of my first OBE. That night, I had fallen asleep on my back. During the night, I woke up to see that my ceiling was closer to my face than I remembered. I tried to roll over to see what was going on, but felt I was falling at a very rapid rate. Well, I hit the bed with such force that my body awoke and I felt the legs on my bed crack underneath me. My mother still has the pictures of the bed after the incident.
