As long as it's consensual, and legal, and all that good stuff. Whatev.
However, I'd like to ask you...
I know you disagree with homosexuality, but how can you when you yourself participate in a sexual lifestyle that deviates from the normal?
I mean, really, what's so different about furries versus homosexuals?
Really, though, one sexuality is as good as another. I'm afraid your question is invalid since there are plenty of homosexual furrs. INfact, most of the life style is homosexual or bisexual
I'd just like to know why you seperate furriness from homosexuality, I guess.
Why is being a furry acceptable, while homosexuality is not, to you?
I don't know. It confuses me.Because its like what Lyme said, its what you wear, not what,or rather, who you do. Did you even bother to read all the information in the link?

I don't know-- I just think that if you have sexual proclivities that you want others to accept, you should accept theirs.
Say, for instance, if you were someone who liked sloshing(British-type fetish about liquids and sauces into your private areas. Don't ask how I know gonk ).
That disgusts me in general-- but if I was someone who liked "golden showers" (peeing, etc gonk ) I think it would be a bit odd of me to find the slosher objectionable, morally, or something.
I feel filthy. Ugh. gonk
But anyway, I know homosexuality is about the person, but if being a furry is seen as a legitimate and acceptable sexuality, then how can you not view homosexuality as such?Its not a sexuality.
Either way, it kind of icks me out, but more power to you if you can express yourself sexually with someone who likes the same things you do.

kp606 If you can disprove the relationship between your furry and CSI's, you're okay with me. The problem with what your doing is your being ignorant. Your grouping all furs under one category. SPucificly the category that was over exagerated to the point where we became sick. CSI, TechTv, and MTV have given us a bad name, and its sad. WHat even sader, people beilive it with out even botheirng to go lookign for themselves.

I read it, and I thought it seemed to me that if you're making being a furry into a whole lifestyle, I'd call it a sexuality.
I mean, I see S&M as a sexuality.

First off, I said nothing about your culture of furry-dom being wrong or anything, so your breathlessly emotional proclamation of acceptance wasn't warranted.
Second, I understand that being a furry is about all that mind and soul animal stuff, and I think you interpreted, when I said "What you do, it's ALL sexuality" as meaning furries, when I meant that as a general thing, what we do, as humans, revolves around sexuality.
I also think that calling me 'ignorant' was not necessary-- neither was calling Kp ignorant justified. If you think we're being incorrect in our assumptions of your lifestyle and your sexuality, etc, EDUCATE us on it. Don't say "You don't know anything, you don't understand."
Unless that's what you made the thread for.
But being a furry is about sex, at least a good chunk of it. Sexual attraction to anthromorphs, specifically=sexuality. That's what a sexuality IS.
So, concede at least that being a furry can be a sexuality, if the sex part is your interest. (Which it should be, if you're saying you have an attraction to anthromorphs, or whatever.)

You wouldn't call Human a sexual prefernce if you like regular pornography (Or homosexual) I'm goign to take a guess (and please correct me if I'm wrong) that you think sex is the driving force of every thign a human does and thinks?

You didn't specifically say that he said you were wrong, but you were being very defensive, meaning that you felt there was an attack.
And I would have to agree with Adrian, having seen your further description of Furry-dom; It does sound quite like homosexuallity. You are attracted to people with animal characteristics verses being attracted to people with physical characteristics similar to yours.
And people call homosexuallity a lifestyle too, soo... sweatdrop

If the interest was in having sex with animals, it'd be compareable to homosexuality. Right now, it's only compareable to every to fetish, like schoolgirl outfits and bondage and all that.
This is furry in the sexual manner, not the rest of it, pyro, I understand it's not all about that.
It'd be like getting turned on by a girl with a strap on. Which is a bit odd to me, but not getting turned on by actual men. Just...girls being like men during sex.

Furry can not be compaird to homosexuality, since homosexuality is a sexual prefernce, and Furry is a life preference. I can see how homosexuality can bee seen as a life choice. You choose to live a life that has your attraction to the same sex...but thats it. If there is more to it I woudl love to hear about it. I've already explained that there is more to being a furry then sex.

He hasn't said anything to show that he -was- saying it was just about the sex either. He said that all life is about sexuality, which is different from sex.
Meaning that, at least to him, any lifestyle defines one's life, and thus, one's sexuality. And, as I said before, homosexuallity is described as a lifestyle by many. So, since you have given every sign of thinking furry-dom to be a lifestyle, they should be comparable.
