Kei observed this new predicament and tilted his head to the side a bit as he thought things over. Planting his right sword into the ground for the moment Kei thought he had a plan. Reaching into his yukata he drew several senbon needled with parchment wrapped tightly around it, of this kind he extracted several and bounced them in his palm before taking action. Sweeping his arm from left to right he threw the senbon in an open pattern where they embedded themselves in the junction between the roof stopper and the walls Kashin made.
Kei slowly counted backwards from ten in his mind as he extracted several smoke bomb capsules from inside his yukata, unlike the normal ones however, these were pepper bombs. The powder when released aggravated the mucus in the nose and the membrane of the eye, specifically the tear ducts. While nonlethal they were, their immediate effect on people made them invaluable for riot control, or to smoke out an adversary.
So when the exploding tags around the senbon needles detonated, the force released broke some of the stone and pushed it back some to create a momentary gap. Kei then tossed the handful of pepper bombs through the space, where they detonated inside the enclosed space. On the outside Kei created a box of air around the bunker of stone to imprison Kashin in the miasma.

This was the moment Kashin was waiting for. "Now!" The word rang in his head as he propped his arm up in Kei's direction as he remained behind the wall. Under his breath he whispered the technique name. "Chakra Taihou no Jutsu..." Sure enough the chakra cannon was unleashed upon Kei. This was not the lethal form but was most certainly not harmless.
With in the instant the stone chattered and the wind barrier that was created was obliterated. "A move that is all thanks to Chaos..."

Kei witnessed the explosion of stone and wind that occurred as the canon of raw chakra burst forth from the bunker that Kashin had created. The young jounin quickly surmised what the attack was and its abilities, after all he had faced Aona's version of it and got the detailed version of its original state from the spies he had placed in the crowd during the Exams.
In fact if there was anyone in Gaioh who that technique should not be used against it was Kei, having faced it and designed his superior storm canon from the same maneuver. "Wrong move Kashin!" Kei growled as he pulled his sword from the ground and twirled, pooling his chakra into the blade he brought it down with a shouted command, "Sky Splitter!"
As Kei completed his turn he brought his blade down on top of the blast of chakra and actually sheered through the attack, not by strength of arm but because he used his chakra to create an edge that extended beyond the blade. What inadvertently happened was that the Chakra Canon technique was just a mass of highly compacted mass; when using his technique Kei created a blade of chakra of the same compactness as the canon but focused into a single space.
He basically created a blade of equal mass as the canon but far more dense, focused into a leading edge constructed of chakra condensed into singularity. The effect was the ability to slice through the 'canon ball' of chakra without expending any of his own.
The chakra canon split into two halves and flew past Kei and crashed into the far wall of the arena and creating two large craters. "You picked the wrong person to use that attack against Kashin, I've studied it intimately. There is no form of it that I can't beat except for Chaos' Advanced Chakra Canon, and only because he has more chakra than I do because of his ability to draw the energy from the surrounding landscape. Yours is a mere imitation, similarly constructed and by default containing the same inherent weakness. It is compacted into a ball, when a ball is intercepted with a cutting edge of equal mass but greater density it is cut; enough force and it is cut through entirely. By weakening the attack to non-lethal capabilities you brought into the threshold in which I could cut it." Kei explained, he was not one for monologues but in this area he needed to inform Kashin of the moves thresholds and capabilities, if he faced Chaos it would be necessary for him to know how to defeat the move.
Kei raised his sword and turned it so the light reflected off the blade and revealed the leading edge of chakra, so fine that it bordered on singularity. If he had achieved that last bit, he would slice through the very fabric of reality, and the only person who carried an item of that nature was Azure. Pulling the chakra back in, Kei introduced it into his system as a converted source of stamina; normally a user would have to use that chakra but Nekage had taught his three students to open their chakra ways more fully, and of his students Kei was the most elite. "Do you see Kashin, that by applying the laws of quantum physics how even the strongest of attacks can be beaten if studied hard and long against. These moves border on Chakra Physicality, a domain in which only Nekage truly understands, but by packing so much chakra into anything we can toe that line but never walk over it."

As Kei described the attack he had performed he took mental note of everything as to apply it to actual battle. He would later look at this and learn how to use it against Chaos. "You see Kei this is why I kept this privte. I knew I could count on you to show me some new tricks. You are the next generation to inherit this village. I am glad to see you have the skill and strength to protect this village."
He grinned as he returned to his tai chi stance this time know using the blade with in the stance. "I won't use it but I do have an upgraded version of that cannon. And don't take disrespect from it but if I was to use it on you it is guaranteed death. I will tell you though that it causes any matter it hits to go through all elemental forms and ends at its opposite state."
He awaited Kei's next move. This match had been more beneficial already then he had anticipated this whole match to be. This only made him more eager to continue this match.

Kei nodded in acknowledgment to Kashin's words, "You'll have to show me how that looks one of these days." Kei said with a slight grin as held his swords out to either side of him. Running forward, the young Jounin leaped into the air and raised his right sword to bring down a heavy downward slash, but he feinted at the last second. Landing on his right foot he dropped his weight and executed a roll that put him behind Kashin.
With the extra chakra pumping through his systems, his movements were faster, stronger, and his sense were far more aware than usual. So when he slashed with his left hand, the blade moved far faster than a normal swing and was precisely targeted at the ANBU's knee; meant to severe his hamstring with surgical deliberateness.

Kashin quickly jumped using chakra to propel himself. This placed him into a back flip as he unsheathed Vengeance. He landed behind Kei. He brought Vengeance down to his right side. With in an instant, Kashin slashed upwards for a diagonal motion that would enter Kei's hip but exit through the left side of his chest. If this did not connect, Kashin made included another black flame to continue on.

Kei didn't bother to follow Kashin's jump, instead he used the momentum of his swing to roll forward and to the side of where he had been. He managed to escape Kashin's swing but he was grazed along the back of his neck and collar by the flame but he avoided most of the attack. Exiting his roll, he came up on his feet and faced the ANBU with a fixed stare as he considered the next move.
It was obvious that he and the ANBU were equals when it came to the blade but he had to wonder just how flexible of a fighter was Kashin. Sticking his swords into the ground Kei performed a basic sealing technique and stored the two weapons back in the scroll he had summoned them front. Putting the scroll inside his yukata he drew another one from inside. Quickly unsealing this scroll he summoned forth a double ji and held it expertly in his hands. "I don't know about you Kashin but I've dedicated myself to a multitude of styles. One of those is spear fighting, slightly different than yari that Chaos prefers I'm quite fond of the double ji." Kei said with a grin as he leveled the weapon at Kashin.
Twirling the polearm in an figure eight form, Kei steadily approached Kashin; his form was slow at first but it didn't take him very long to speed up the pace until the weapon was moving faster than the human eye could see clearly. Kei jumped shallowly and spun in the air as if to bring the head of the weapon down on him but instead he dropped his weight at the last moment in a skillful feint and performed an upwards thrust towards the ANBU's collar bone. The movement was quick, fluid, and only another highly trained and highly skilled spear fighter would have noticed any nuances in Kei's stance as he moved from overhead swing to feint to thrust.

Kashin quickly attempted to evade the attack. He took a cut to the collar bone area, but this was nothing compared to past battle. Kashin dropped to his right side into a roll getting distance between himself and Kei.
"You know I am not good with spears. I am skilled in different forms of the blade..." Kashin sheathed Vengeance and quickly performed a summoning technique releasing his two foxes Sachi and Doki. "Sachi transform..." Sachi leaped at Kashin and turned into two kodachi. "Doki lay back..." Without question the black fox trotted to the outer part of the arena. "These should handle well..." With a couple flicks of the wrist Kashin was spinning the blades in his hand making them hard to clearly pin point.

Kei observed the fox as it became a pair of nodachi, he was familiar with the weapon as he had trained in the style himself. He figured that with the extended reach of his polearm Kashin would not be able to effectively use the weapons against him, especially considering how the head of double ji could be used to capture and strip away enemy swords.
Deciding to put Kashin to the test, Kei raised his spear and spun it over his head; using his wrist as the axis for the spin he could revolve the weapon at great speeds and still be in full control of it. Advancing carefully, he seized the shaft of the weapon and turned it in a tight spiral so he brought one of the cancave side blades in sweeping low arc that would go from KAshin's left hip to his right shoulder.

Kashin was fairly impressed with Kei's skill. It was apparent that he would make a great and vital ANBU. With a quick flick the kodachi in his left hand was pointed up and the one in the right was down. Using them to cross like scissors.
He lowered himself down catching the blade. Due to the great force of the ji KAshin was pushed a little bit but nothing drastic. A foot or two at most. "I must say I think you have earned the right to battle against me the way both Nekage and Hids have..." Kashin hopped away quickly and held the serpent sign. "Oni Satsu no Jutsu!" Kashin glowed a red aura of chakra as it seperated and created Siryu. "Doki! Transform!" Sure enough the black fox jumped to Siryu.

Siryu stood tall holding his hand out as Doki transformed into the long bladed Zanbatō. "Great to see you again Kei...." He brought the blade around, smiling, pointing it at the jounin. "I hope you are not uncomfortable with this arrangement?"

Kei spun the haft of the double ji and disentangled the blades and leaped backwards to disengage. He considered this development and simply nodded his consent, in a real battle he might not always have the ability to fight one on one with an opponent; so he might as well get used to the idea of being outnumbered. "Well met, Siryu." Kei replied as he took his new stance.
He would have to adopt a new technique to fight two opponents simultaneously; he would have to go on the defensive and fight from a reactionary standpoint. He could use clone but he didn't think either of his opponents would be held at bay for more than a moment and it would drain his chakra unnecessarily.
Kei look at both of his opponents warily as he began to spin his spear around him in the figure eight pattern. "I'm ready when you are." Kei said as he spun the spear ever faster, his hands a blur in themselves as he moved with lithe efficiency.

Siryu moved quickly as he sprinted towards Kei. He wound up his zanbatō getting ready to slash horizontally across Kei. At the same time Kashin flanked to the right of Kei prepping to slide in to stab at Kei's left side.

Kei waited until the last possible moment before ducking and leaping to the side, effectively placing the two in each others line of attack. Following through with his roll, Kei came up to his feet and planted his left foot. Halting his forward motion, he reversed his momentum and swung his ji in broad arc that would crash into Kashin's back and launch him into Siryu's attack.

Being that Kashin and Siryu were mind linked Siryu ducked down lowering the blade as Kashin was launched right over the attack. Siryu continued forward with his attack now aiming for Kei's lower body.
