Sora Itou Japanese came pretty easy when i did it > <;; but only because chinese characters and japanese characters are alike! vietnamese was suuper easy for me... Japanese is way more fun though heart Is Vietnamese hard to learn? I barely read it, and only if I know what it's supposed to say. sweatdrop Like reading wise?

Hey Random Neko, If it makes you feel any better about it, I got Ds through two years of Spanish but actually did pretty well with Japanese.

Well then you're in luck because there are quite a few people here who can speak even just a little bit of Japanese. Perhaps just pay attention to the things that they say, and/or listen to what they explain, and I'm sure that you'll pick it up in no time at all.

My father was in the US Army and worked with mostly Russians and Germans and had an old friend of his come over to the house and speak in those languages and I some how picked up on it and my first words where in those languages and I had to be taught English. So, in honor of him I would like to re-learn those as well as Japanese, Spanish and French. I already majored American Sigh Lanuange, which is another I wanted to learn and am working on the others, but I need to find more time to do so.

Watching subtitled anime and live action Japanese shows has actually resulted in me learning a handful of Japanese words, and this makes me want to learn more of the language. On another note, I want to relearn Spanish because half of my family is Hispanic and unfortunately my father never taught me. I took three years of it in high school but forgot most of what I learned...
