ill do my best not to get shot. thats why im wearing a ghille suit to stay hidden. i intend to kill my targets from afar so i can try to provide covering fire for you.

"That's one way to stay alive. Personally I either stay in a tank or for this mission I'm going to wear a Kevlar vest. That will hopefully slow the bullet if not stop it. And I intend to shoot them before they shoot me."
"Well Ikari it looks like we've got about all the people we're going to get." (Wait one more day. if nobody else shows up by Monday afternoonish then we might as well take off.)

Ikari cut off the power to the helicopter's engines to save fuel. "I'm getting impatient." He said abruptly and radioed for all the choppers fuel to be replinished.

wraith checks his gear and weapons to make sure that they are fully loaded and his ammo packs are full. then he waits for the mission to start, although he seems a bit nervous.

wraith realizes he should bring nightvision goggles just in case. he runs off to the armory and was back in the helecopter in 5 minutes.

*Grik walks over to Ikari and says* "We might as well leave. Nobody is responding to my notices about the mission. The only person who's read theirs is Skujax. The others haven't been online. And Delta hasn't been on for awhile. I say that we go asap."

Actually lets wait for a little while longer. I just accepted 2 more guys in. So hopefully they'll be active and we'll get more people in on the mission.

"Finally..." Ikrari grumbled as he pulled the chopper up into the air. "its a pain to keep turning these birds on and off." He said. Hayes sat with his eyes closed as sweat formed on his brow.

as the helecopter toke off, wraith's stomach did a bit of a sumorsalt. he was on his way to his first mission. he starts to grin out of nervousness as he usually does when he's nervous. he turns to grik and shouts over the roar of the engine, "SIR, WHEN WILL WE GET TO THE MISSION AREA!"

"Don't know. Ask Ikari. And I know how you feel about flying right now. I usually stick to tanks. So I'm for the most part of my job on the ground. I hate flying."
"And is it just me or is it kind of odd to leave without the person who created this mission? Hopefully he can come in and give us some more details. Or we can just make it up as we go..."

"Well that's perfectly normal. If you weren't nervous you wouldn't be human. Even seasoned war vets get nervous going back into the combat zone because they never know what could happen. You never know if you won't come out alive. My advice is to make your peace with your family, friends, and the world in general. And once out in the field make sure you don't do anything you might latter regret."
