((I'm going to NPC you a second here I hope you don't mind.))
Akira lend forward as swung just above his head. Akira flipped forward launching it into the air. "Dual Attack" Akira and Cain X-strike the Machina as it explode between them.
((X-Strike is a move from Crono Triggers. A Dual movve using two people with blades to slice through a target in an X.))

Cain jumped back a few yards
to avoid the explosion. "That was fun."
Cain said laughing.
The strings of ice in his hands melted
into water. He dismissed his keyblade.
"Well is that it?"

"I believe so, but who knows what else Genesis has done here. I think we shall walk the road." Akira said as a Chocabo feather floated towards him.

and cloud. there were barely
any sound here.. just the sound
of wind and the croaks of small
crickets.

The Ground was littered with Chocobo feathers has they walked. "What's with the feathers?"

One got caught in cloud's mouth.
"Pfft pffft! Bleh I-it smells.. of blood."
Cloud shivered.
"Cain,akira. It smells like blood."

((Sorry I have not been on for awhile. Been real busy and still got stuff to do. *sigh*))
Darcy teleported to the road and saw Cain and Akira. She ran to catch up with them, and then walked beside them. She also wondered what was going on with the feathers.

Akira picked up a feather. "Scan." He said as he waved his hand over it. "It a chocobo feather level 1. Weakness none." AKira said. "As I recall when i wounder around here a while that the enemy of the chocobo is called a chocobo eater, but there not that agressive. Could they be under the influence of Genesis? We must find them." Akira said as he looks around. "The bridge!!" Akira pointed as he saw something move down to go under it.

cain didn't summon his weapons yet so they all approached the bridge stealthily.

Cloud unsheathed his buster blade silently.
As everyone approached the bridge, the creature
rushed out and jumped high into the air. "It's the chocobo eater!"
Cloud yelled.

The Chocobo Eater stood on one side of the bridge. As another jumped on the other side. Both seem to be related. They were twice the size of an regular Chocobo Eater.

Darcy was not sure why she should smell the feather, but she did. "Fresh blood." she said. Then, she heard Cloud yell about a Chocobo Eater and looked straight ahead. The sight of it scared her a bit. "Woh." she said in an uneasy tone.

cain and cloud looked at each other and nodded.
Cain combined his magic with clouds aura, as they both
juped in the air and started slicing at the two eaters.

The eaters hit the ground with their massive arms launching themselves into the air. There speed and power was enhanced due to Genesis' aura. They appeared above Cloud. They locked togather their arms and went into a spining attack and launched themselves into Cloud.______________________________ Akira grabbed out of his pocket some dragon bombs. "Take flight!!" He said as he tossed them into the air.
The flew towards Cloud and flew around him and attacked the eaters stopping their spining.
