They both have nice soundtracks, but I like Yumi Kawamura's voice a bit more so I'll go for P3 >w> Also, 'Memories of the City' is beautiful and is overall my favorite track~

Even though I haven't played P4 yet(friend still borrowing it). I have listen to the soundtrack. IMO P3's(including FES) soundtrack kicks P4's soundtrack bumbum. I have so many favorite songs from P3, just too many to name.

I'd have to say Persona 3 has the better one, but it's deathly close. Persona 3 is just so much more funky, I love it.

I've never played Persona 3, but I've listened to the soundtrack. If I had to choose one I would choose Persona 3's to be better just listening to it, but in gaming context they match their respective games perfectly.
P3=Dance P4=Sing
My favorites are Burn My Dread and Reach Out to the Truth.

Well, you could look at it differently. You could look at it as:
Persona 3 = Big City
Persona4 = Small Town
Persona 3's got that dance sound, and rap, and all the things that just scream "urban" I'm in a big city, I go to a club, technology's all over, etc. etc.
Persona 4, small town, the music is more melodic, more singy songy. Except when you go into the TV world, then the music turns badass all of a sudden.
So whatever's better to listen to, it fits the setting VERY well.

I personally like P3 better
Its a bit more "me" I would say.. lol
P4 is good too, but I only like a few songs
like the opening song.... (I always forget names >.<)
My favorite right now is "The Battle For Everyones Souls"
Omg! When The Velvet room music comes in it gives me goosebumps
(i think its actually Battle Hymn of The Soul)

Yeah, it has 2 names. It's the last battle theme, and it's either called "The Battle for everyone's souls" or "Battle Hymn of The Soul."

I liked 4 because It was so dance-y. I drive around town at night just Blasting the CD.

lol, sometimes i get my cd player, and my mp3, and play the songs on both for an echo effect, it sounds AWESOME!!
