" O yes" Replied Sally. " Thanks to the wonder of nanotech Smart-wear our outer layers can experience all 5 senses. They can even help us reproduce via Sex instead of manufacture." Sally took this moment to fix all the officers she could in an almost spiritual stare
" That is why those of us that split with the hegemony after the great war treat all intelligent life as our equals. There is no physical difference between a human that has become fully cybernetic and our current bodies. It's the mind and actions of a person that should determine how they are treated. Not the circumstances of their birth."
At this Sally looked embarrassed. " O my it looks like I launched into a spiel. Deeky I'm getting as bad as you. "

"Do you feel the 6th sense of pain," Doc asked, truly into the conversation. Everyone else just listened as they had nothing to input.

(There are actually 6 senses, the 6th being Pain. It is different from touch because for example when you put your hand on a hot object you feel pain, and not so much the actual heat. Another would be when you are hungry you feel pain to tell you you are hungry. Psychology is a fun class XD)

Doc opened his mouth to ask another question when the lights flickered and the low humming of the Hyperdrive engine stopped. A moment later someone buzzed the radio in the room and Treize pressed the answer button, "this is Khushrenada."

"Sir, I am sorry to disturb you, but we have dropped out of Hyperspace." That was obvious, but it was still regulation to inform the Commander.

"Understood."

"There is something else sir... I think you should take a look at this."

Treize paused, he hated ending their evening so early, but duty called. "Alright, I am on my way." He released the answer button and stood, "well my friends, I had a splendid time, but all good things must come to an end." The other Officers rose as well, "alright, everyone to your stations, Deek, Sally, Tasha, if you would join us." Treize, Mr. Tanaka, and Lieutenant Holloway proceeded to go to the bridge, while Doc and Mr. Andrews went to the Medical Wing and Engine Room, respectively.

They entered the bridge which was bustling with activity, like something important was happening. The Ensign that was in command saw them come in and shouted, "Commander on deck!" And everyone became quiet and at attention.

"At ease," Treize said as he walked to the commander table. "So what is going on?"

"Sir, when we dropped out of Hyperspace we immediately detected a large amount of residual radiation that indicated a battle had taken place, and our spotters spotted this." The ensign brought up on the main screen a visual of the nebula. He zoomed in and there on the screen was a large debris field. "We detected the transponder signal, it is the Athena that was waiting for us to arrive."

"Are there any other DRADIS contacts?"

"No sir."

"Alright," he turned to his ExO, "raise the shields and have all crew on standby." He then turned to Deek, Sally, and Tasha, "I need you to go out there and see if you can find any survivors, or at the least the black box." Then he turned to his Weapons Officer, "have all missile tubes, laser batteries, and rail guns on standby. And someone get me a channel with HQ!"

Lieutenant Holloway went off to his station and Mr. Tanaka opened up a ship wide channel and informed all hands to be on deck.

Treize turned to the Ensign, "when is the other Cruiser supposed to arrive?"

"In 1 hour sir."

(Yeah, should be fun, not sure what is exactly going to happen though. Oh and when you go out, you will find no survivors, but you will find the black box. Also no enemies, yet XD and no enemy debris)

" Hell ya" Yelled Deek.

With that Sally's body fell over as Deek ran out of the room. " Just lay her in a corner" he yelled as the door closed behind him.

O yea time to rock. [Systems booting up and the ammo is almost fully loaded. it so nice to be back in my own body. ] An electronic purr buzzed through Deek's head. [ I'm waiting lover.] O yes this would be fun. Sally was in the mood to really fly. He booked it even faster to the lift that would drop him near the fighter bay. The ride down took about 3 years to long.
When the door opened Deek ripped into the Bay. " Hey coffin stuffers. If any of you are around get ready to take off. We got action." As he said this Deek leaped into Sally's command chair. " The Lieutenant should be right behind me so hurry your asses up".

And with that Sally was lowered into the launch Tube and roared out into space.

( i figure there would be a tube below the bay to allow ships to be serviced and launched from the same bay,

Under impulse power Deek flew into the wreckage. He concerned himself with avoiding debris while Sally searched for clues With her sensors.

( Of course ill wait. but You put out the signal. Heck Deek will pick it up when he has time to.)

The residual radiation was consistent with a Nuclear weapon going off, and it seemed to be only a few hours old. The black box's automated distress call was going off, and it was coming from what was formally the bridge of the cruiser.

(Someone will need a space suit to go get it. Pilots likely would have said space suit so they could eject out of their fighters. Would android's need them? In both BSG and Stargate Atlantis they do. In BSG it is because Androids are almost the same as human (having organs and stuff) in Stargate Atlantis it is because space is too cold and their hardware shuts down....)
