Newtionary ObSCURE wrath Newtionary Well, I've heard they allow plagiarized art. D: Posting traced pictures is A-Okay now on DA.
I have a DA but, I'm never on it anymore.
Reason one is: My Boy friend met this slut on there and she was talking dirty to him and he replied to it >_<
Reason two is: That same girl had traced a picture I saw on DA and it was the same picture to the last line. Of course I reported it, But i didn't know they allowed Tracing now...
Sorry but, thats really not art. I copy off the same pictures sometimes, I look off the picture and copy it close to the same, but I don't Trace. That just takes all the work away from making art. Holy crap. D:< Now it sounds like they've merged with myspace, too. I have to agree. I use a lot of references, and I've traced some pictures to get an idea about how they foreshorten and stuff, but I never claim that stuff as my own. It stays in my sketchbook where I can go back and use as a reference for drawing my own pictures. I don't want to be popular, I want to be an artist.
That It's a place for guys to cheat on their "loved ones" with some whore?lol
Thats what I use the pictures i copy Their just references to me. I most try to get down faces and hands...I have the most trouble with hands and face shapes >_<
I think I'm going to be deleting my actual drawings off there now. I don't want some stupid a*****e tracing my work then calling it "their" art. >:[

I know! Which is why I never posted anything to begin with!
I only go on DA to look at stock photos, like pictures of hands, so that I can practice those. Other then that I avoid it.
Face shapes and hands for me, too, and shoulders, for some reason.
You would probably be better off having your own website with all your drawings on it. I don't know of many other art gallery sites.
And I always find it a lot more professional to link to your gallery, not the gallery that DA hosts for you. *shrugs*

Wolfoverlord342 i think i'll need to go to some art school to improve my art. Just draw alot and you'll get better. Get some models or look off sheets. Like for bodies, hands, face, eyes, etc... I've been drawing for years, never went to art school. If your still in school, just take art every semester. Just work at it. biggrin
