The man nodded, very well, show me.

Admiral Woolsey started the conversation, "well Treize, this is quite an interesting report to say the least." He tapped the file on his desk. "Could offer you a smoke?" He held up a box of cigars.
"No thank you sir."
He offered it to the Colonel but she held up a hand to say 'no'. "Alright, well, I guess we should get down to business. This encounter has not been the first. We have been detecting odd DRADIS Contacts out here for the last decade, and have even found a couple wreckages of our civilian ships to boot, but ONI has always covered it up quite nicely since we didn't have enough 'intel' as the bureaucrats back on Earth say. But this," he tapped the file again, "this cannot be ignored. As soon as I received your report I put in a request to the Prime Minister himself, but he declined my request. Instead he is pulling back the fleet at Tau Ceti and sending most of it to Sol, in case they make an attack there. He is also building up forces at Epsilon Eridani in case the Hegemony decide to take advantage of this situation. We on the other hand are only receiving 10 extra ships....." The Admiral paused and shook his head in dismay at this decision, "I am moving the forces under my command here, to protect this system, but all in all we will only have 78 capital ships with which to make our defense. Hyperion is staying here under my command as well. Colonel Isard has encountered another Alien out in Alpha Centauri, her personal knowledge may come in handy so I am putting her on your ship. You two are the most experienced in these aliens, so you should make a good team. Also, for now you and your crew and forbidden to talk about this with anyone outside of you, myself, or Colonel Isard, that even includes amongst themselves. The Prime Minister is saying that the reason for fleet redeployment is a 'training exercise.'"
"I understand sir," Treize replied.
"There is one more thing... your Android friend, how much do you trust him with this information?"
"He is not a spy if that is what you are asking."
"I know... but the Admiralty want him out of a large operation like this, if we let him go do you think he will stay quiet?"
Treize didn't like where this was going, "Can I speak with him first."
Admiral Woolsey saw his discomfort and nodded, "alright, do that."
After some more talking, which the Colonel did not participate in, they all stood up and then were dismissed. Treize decided Colonel Isard was not the talkative type so did not bother to make conversation that she would probably not care about. He saw that Tasha was not out yet so he waited with the Colonel outside of the room she had gone into.

Tasha figured she might start form the beginning. She showed him how she reched out to the ship and searched finding things there. How the music of thier thoughts blended how easy it was to get lost in them and then the horrible screeching. EVen now it still gave her a headache to think about it. So she toned it down a bit as the headache almost hit her again. "You can get about as much as I can sorry because thats all I remember before I woke up with a HUGE headache and a bloody nose." Tasha paused,"Am I going to need any training? Is there anything I should know about my...reading ability?"

He sat back in his chair and mused about what he had been shown. "It appears that their society is full of telepaths, or at least that ship... further study will have to be done of course..." He then remembered her question, "usually we try and find people with psychic abilities at a young age so that we can train them earl. Sometimes their powers can have a negative affect on them, especially as a child... but since yours seems latent it has had no real effect on you, so it is really your choice, you can either choose to become a Psyker or continue on the life you are living now. If you do need help you can always contact us of course."

Tasha smiled at least she could still be what she wanted to be. "I think I would be more useful being the lieutenant of the Hyperion at the time. Maybe after all this I might think of a diffrent course. For now I will practice and try not to read minds of people by habit."

Tasha stood up,"Alright thank you sir." She left and smiled as she saw Treize waiting for her as well with a new woman. She kept her cuirousity to herself and didn't read thier minds. She didn't need to be imbarassed again nor should she intrude on thier thoughts...although sometimes she most likely couldn't help it.

Treize started leading Tasha and the Colonel back outside to the spaceport. "Lieutenant, this is Colonel Isard, Colonel Isard, Lieutenant Feilds. Colonel Isard is to be assigned with us, I will give you the full briefing on Hyperion." He paused for a moment, "how did your interview go?"

"Better then I thought it would." Tasha blushed as she thought of her initial embarassment. "Nice to meet you Colonel." Tasha acknowledged Isard and noticed she didn't seem to be very relaxed, more ightly bound like when Tasha was around ehr fighters...but someone couldn't possibly be like that all the time could they?

While his two human friends were busy planet side Deek's package had arrived. The delivery ship labeled "Dizzy" pulled in to the hangar and dropped the cargo container . As the ship speed out of the bay a speaker yelled out in a high girlish voice. " Bye Daddy. Have Fun!"
Deek chuckled as he pressed the button that opened the crate. The crate spread into three sections each with many dangerous looking parts lining that wall. " Hey Sally." Deek yelled " We want the Nuke or the Arc Canon?" [Arc! Deeky. It's Electric!] If she was in a good mood from all the fighting Deek felt his luck must be turning. Sally had been mad for weeks before all this. Maybe after he was done kicking their butts he would buy a few aliens a drink.
(So I gotta go? aw..... shucks.)

Colonel Isard only responded with a curt nod.
"That's good," Treize replied. "we have new orders, looks like we are going to be in this system for awhile."
All three of them returned to Hyperion aboard the same drop ship that had brought them there. As they disembarked the ship into the hangar Treize saw Deek had received some sort of package, it looked like it was for his ship. "You two go on ahead, and you Tasha should probably take care of the new fighter pilots coming aboard." On the other side of the hangar were new fighters and their pilots being organized into their positions.
Treize walked over to Deek and Sally (is she in her Android form or her ship form?), "can I have a word with you?"

Tasha gave a nod and went off to her new troops. Tasha rolled her eyes at comments that she soon put a stop to as she worked them to the bone. When they were too tired to think any more rude thoughts she let them go. With a sigh she went back to her room. Laying down she decided to push all the thoughts out of her head. Tasha was getting a throbbing headache, she wondered if it was because her powers becoming more developed or if it was because of the attack and her mind was still recooperating from it.

"I went down to the surface to give my report to the Admiral of this sector. And while I was there he told me that Admiralty is uncomfortable with you participating in future operations against these aliens....," Treize looked over his shoulder to make sure there was no one within hearing distance, "but they are also concerned that if we let you go you may be more inclined to talk to the public or the Hegemony about our encounter in the Nebula...." Treize winked at Deek subtly. (I think that word is wrong but you get the point right?)

Treize nodded and had a very solemn expression on, although this was likely just sarcasm, "very well then. It is settled, we cannot afford to let you go. Our mission briefing is at 1930 in the officer's briefing room." Treize left for the bridge.
(Yay, thanks XD. Oh and Tasha was of course informed of the meeting as well... probably by some subordinate :/)
