About Aveto, here's a conversation we've been having over PMs. The_Errand_Girl Aveto Crow Master The_Errand_Girl Aveto Crow Master The_Errand_Girl Well, it's something normal people can't do or learn to do, so it's a supernatural skill. A supernatural skill would count as a Gift. At any rate, this isn't an official moderation in any form, it's just a friendly suggestion. I'm not saying you have to change anything. I'm just suggesting that your character would be more solid and more creative if you tied all his abilities together under the power of his one Gift. I also have to point out that we haven't gotten any complaints, but if another member did complain to us that you weren't following the rules that Nate set down, we would have to agree with them in this instance. but could i add for example...that i have been taught many martial tecneecs from martial artists to my character description thing That would be a good idea, but it's still a supernatural skill. If there was a disagreement between you and someone else in an RP, and they came to us saying that you couldn't do it because of the one-Gift rule, we would have to decide in their favor. Is it ok if no one complains though....if so if someone does complain would i get a pm telling me that i have to change that I can't say it's okay, because it really is against the rules. But I'd much rather you do it a different way because you choose to, not because we tell you to. I really think you can get more creative roleplay if you tie all your character's abilities into that one source, rather than putting them together from everywhere.

Well, he has agreed to try in the future to try and tie any supernatural abilities his character has into his stated Gift. For whatever that's worth.
Have any of us gotten any complaints from members yet?

And to that point, I've called him out. It's a clear violation of the courtesy rule to go into someone's RP, while several people are in the crunching climactic moments of a storyline scene, and then freak out and insist that people drop what they're doing and come coddle him, nurture self-inflicted imaginary wounds.

I mean if he wants to do such things why does he not do it in the thread he was gonna supposedly make?! And then WHERE he does it, in Labs when the action is at it's peak!! I am honestly surprised he has not retorted to your comment with some of his warped logic.
