Celia meekly shakes her head to Rohan's question before having her sword materialize in her hands. She sighs a bit as she keeps it close to herself. She keeps her eyes sharp.

Windy took a moment longer than anyone else in starting off. She had her bows, and her quiver with a few arrows - but not many. Not enough. She would have to save them for desperate emergencies. She could make more, of course, but it took time. Time that they didn't have. Without her jar and with so few missiles, she was going to have a hard time in the midst of battle.

Windy caught up with the others and attempted to stay in the middle. When she heard the question from in front of her, she shook her head. "I'm sorry. Right now I only have the power of my bow, and I only have a few shots of that."

Whatever was in the forest was not something she would be able to be much help in. She was a good shot, excelent even, but it did not make up for her few arrows.

"I could make more arrows, but that would take several days. If you are willing to do that so that I may fight, I will get done as quickly as possible. But otherwise, I think that we should go through that forest now, and try to avoid fighting as much as possible. I know that I will not be able to do much, and I believe that Kurai needs some more ingredients to do her best as well - something she may be able to do as she stops. But, if we keep going, we must only fight to run away. Are you willing to do that?"

"She who fights and runs away lives to fight another day," Kurai recited in a sing-song voice with a dark laugh, "We don't have time to make more weapons, so that's useless, but we can at least make sure your gourd isn't here, Windy." Kurai stopped in her tracks, motioning at Windy to come closer.

"I just need some emotion you associate with that gourd. The stronger you can make yourself feel about it, the better I'll be able to find it."

Nex put his two pointer fingers together, concentrated a bit, then dragged them apart. An arrow formed between them, made of gray Soul Energy.
"When s**t hits the fan I can make you a bunch of these..."
He spoke while waving it around.
"Just be careful, they become unstable once leaving my aura. You'll have about 8 seconds. Hopefully it'll nail something before it explodes. Though they will sap your energy as you touch them, so be wary of that also. What'dya expect from explosive arrows, though?"
In a tiny arc of black lightning the arrow disappeared. Nex approached Kurai and Rohan.
"I don't require any of the 'necessities' for life, food, water, shelter, etc, but I don't doubt some of us do. So, the enemy will just starve us out, anyway. I say we lock and load."
He grinned at Rohan's Mp7's when he fell silent.
"I so got dibs on those if you die..."
Nex stuck his tongue out a little through his black fangs, then looked up to the building with the screen.
"Be back in a bit."
With that he drew out two daggers in a flick of the wrist and jumped as high as he could, then started scaling it. In no time he was perched at the top. His eyes scanned about as the black circles within rotated like a telescopic lens.

(( Say, what would be in view of this place? Not really sure of the.. Um... Geography? ))

((there's the ruins of the city, the sign reciting Rayne's message, and then everything is surrounded by the dense trees of the Kiokurin Forest))

"Why?" Kurai asked, boredly, "Windy'll be more help with her gourd, so I need to do my best to find it. It'll be easier if we know where we're headed rather than wandering off blindly."

"And what if you can't? we're sitting ducks here." Rohan said, half distracted but composed in his words.

"Indeed you are" The voice echoed in his head

"Why not come out now Tiena? Oh thats right, you can't touch me. You undo me or anyone I associate myself with and the Nether will be on you like wolves on lamb. No one wants to be the one that kills me," Rohan spoke back to Tiena in his mind.

((We don't have a specific map, no. ^_^;
There's the town here, then a dense forest surrounding it that goes on for a while, then fields to the west that meet the mountains. If you follow the main 'road', it'll lead you to Misuteru, but it's all pretty vague to be honest. I suppose I could work on a map, though. Unless you all would prefer the geography was more open-ended? What do you think?))
