to be honest, I'm kind of in the mood for something a bit action-y. I would make one myself, but I am a terribly picky critic of myself, so I am certain I would not be happy with my own work.
That, and while I am a very dedicated roleplayer, I have found that I tend to shy away from creating my own rp's. I guess I prefer reacting to someone else's world and rules more than I enjoy managing my own. Same amount of fun with less worry about having to come up with a plot from scratch.
I'm rambling now, aren't I? Heh, whoops. sweatdrop Oh well. I'm sure someone out there has some clue of what I am talking about. If not, then at least I understand me....kinda....sorta....

Sorry for the wait, I had to help with supper ;D
Anyway, Crew members have two main jobs: Recruiting new members and Enforcing the rules of the Guild. I may give them specific jobs as well, or ask them to do the odd task here and there. I don't need very much at this point, only about one or two, tops.
I'll go more into detail should you choose to be one ;D

Anyway, Crew members have two main jobs: Recruiting new members and Enforcing the rules of the Guild. I may give them specific jobs as well, or ask them to do the odd task here and there. I don't need very much at this point, only about one or two, tops.
I'll go more into detail should you choose to be one ;D
By the way, does anyone have a.. um.. map? Like for an rp? I'm debating whether to do one of two basic ideas. An elemental rp or a hunt/game rp where people must compete to win a certain prize.. so yeah.. ^^"

I've been a crew member for a few other guilds at some point or another, so I know the basics of how the job works.
Like I said before, if you are looking for crew members, I am more than willing to help out. And I do just want to say that I feel really awkward writing this because I feel like some kind of whiny newbie every time I say something about being a crew member.
A side-effect of my time as crew members for other guilds. You have no idea how many pm's I got where all they said was:
"Dude make me a crew member because I am really good, at rping and I really want to be a crew member dude please, let me."
The punctuation in that is as accurate as I can remember it

When you say 'map' do you mean like a field? Or a map on how to set up an RP?
@Silence + Talon ::: I'm not the only one who absolutely hates their own RPs? Yay!
@Jr ::: I agree with Silence - you ought to choose 'em. They'll be your subordinates after all. I might see if I can get friends to come on... Very few of them are on Gaia though so could they maybe put a sample RP post into the text box when someone asks for an invite

XD No, you aren't! Although.. I don't really hate mine... but I hate the stress that comes with it sometimes.. and watching it die.. T-T

However it is usually better to request that they send the sample through the pm system. I know from my own guild join requests that often my longer and better posts tend to be way over the 2000 character limit and it forces me to cut down on stuff or use shorter samples. With a pm you can make it as long as you want, so you are free to give a real example.

Maybe we ought to have a crew member who's job is screening RPers who send a post via PM? And have a person who decides to send it through PMs (I've seen good post under 2ooo characters before, so it might fit) put something to that effect in the little text box thingy, right?

EDIT: @Talon: The PM idea was sort of what I had in mind. However, one sample doesn't tell me with fair accuracy what people usually Role Play like. Go into any random RP (literate ones, at least), and you'll definitely see the difference between some guy's first post and their 10th or so. That's primarily how I tend to judge whether or not someone can be invited.
