"Good! Many good! Show many things, nice things, interesting." He repeated in a cheery babble as he waved his painted wing once more, then tucked it at his side. He hoped to bring her at least a little happiness. He felt she and he would be more on par, what with most of the rest of the flock finding them both quite odd.

He ran his pale beak through his fluffy white feathers as he watched her with amused eyes.

"Very nice, yes, see? Rawks friend too, just worried 'bout things. Other stuff, not mad at Jacksi. Confused 'bout other stuff, nothing to do with Jacksi."

"You are interesting." The female nodded, adjusting her goggles after a moment of thought. She finally smiled, tugging at a bit of eraser for a moment. "Yes, friends it is, mon ami."

She straightened one of her copper-banded primaries in a slightly self-concious manner, finally noticing that she appeared rather ruffled and out of sorts. The way she looked at the moment, anyone would say she looked démentiel.

Her smile only seemed to fuel the fluffy, white feathered German Owl, who immediately puffed his feathers contently and adjusted the scarf that he had been dyed to match. There was a smile and new words to be learned, though they did sound different from the pidge On the Rocks had been teaching him.

"Mon ami? Vas that is, yes?" He inquired as he placed the green tinted glasses back over the bridge of his beak, then peered curiously at the ruffled coffee pidge.

"Where I am originally from, one of the things I remember from before the storm, is that some of the pidge spoke differently. My mere taught me to speak to some of them. Mon ami means "my friend". I've only recently started to remember the words I had lost." The female seemed to shut off slightly after that little ramble. She didn't like talking about the chain of events that had led to her being part of the flock or the time before that. After all, the shock from nearly being caught in the hurry-came had caused her to forget a good portion of it anyway. The inventor continued to smile though as she straightened her feathers.

"Mon ami. Yes! You, mon ami." He said, grinning broadly, then quickly buried his pale beak in his plumage, below the orange, green, and white scarf.

"Very pretty talk. Would tell of greenbird talk, only not pretty much. Greenbird, quakerbird sound funny to pidge. Rawks say so." He smiled and bobbed his head as he tucked away the new knowledge that Jackson Square was so willingly giving him.

"Lost words? No good, hope not lose words."

"Sometimes when you lose things, you find new ones to replace it." She flicked her wings and spread them, indicating the roost. After all, despite her own strangeness, she'd found a place here. "Y'just have to be open to it. And I wouldn't mind hearing a bit... "
