"Two rings will be used to represent this joining." Ryo pulled two simple rings from his pocket and held them out to Syd and Calum.
Calum took one of the rings from Ryo.

Syd blinked and took the other ring, his hand shaking a little bit from nerves.

Sadie's eyes began to wander as she began to lose interest in the wedding.

Syd flicked an ear, "Uhm...yes? Wait...I do...? Sure..." He muttered, his voice turning into a squeak. He wasn't really sure what he should say or do.

Ryo waited a beat, before coughing. "You're supposed to put the ring on his finger."
Calum flushed, having forgotten all about that part. He he held his hand out to Syd.

Syd's ears dropped, and he blushed, mumbling a very small, "Right...sorry." and he slid the ring on Calum's finger.
Harold watched, fidgeting a little. It was almost painful to watch, Syd was never this awkward.

Calum's insides seemed to dance as the ring was placed on his finger. He looked both happy, and like he was going to puke.
Ryo eyed Calum, before deciding to play it safe. He took a couple of steps back. "Do you Calum, take Syd as your lawfully wedded husband? To have and to hold, through sickness and health, till death do you part?"

Syd stood there, looking over at Calum. If Calum decided to puke all over him, it'd still be romantic, right? And it'd definitely be a good story. Still, there was some small pleading flicker in Syd's eyes, he hoped that Calum wouldn't back out. Though, if he did, Syd would understand, it'd be hard to live with someone like him.

Calum swallowed, and took a deep breath. Some of the queasiness subsiding. He reached out for one of Syd's hands, and slid the ring on it. "I do."
"Right then." Ryo clapped his hands, deciding to skip over all the boring stuff. "By the power invested in me, I now pronounce you husband and husband. You may now kiss the groom...and pray that he doesn't puke on you."

Syd blinked, and then, like a shy little kid who was giving his first kiss, he leaned in and placed a small little kiss on Calum's lips.

Calum smiled, his cheeks turning pink at the simple kiss. He was certain, that out of all the kisses he and Syd had shared, that was his favorite.
"Oompa!" shouted Sadie. She scooped up some snow and tossed it at the newly weds.

Syd smiled, pulling away, and standing there very shyly and blushing.
Niraj grinned, "Yay!"
Meth grinned, and clapped a little stupidly.
Harold smiled slightly, though he was proud of his little cousin, he couldn't help but be a little jealous.

Calum blushed more as he looked over Syd's friends. He shoved his hands in his pockets and smiled at Sadie.
Sadie smiled back, overbrimming with happiness.
Feeling that he was no longer needed, Ryo waved and began to sneak off. His teeth beginning to chatter from the snow.

Niraj waved as Ryo left, "Byyyeee!"
Syd blinked, also grinning at Sadie, but also at Harold and Meth and Niraj. He looked around a bit nervously before muttering a soft, and very shy, "Mozlatov..!"

"What's that papa?" Sadie scrambled over to plop down at Syd's feet. Curious about the new word.
Calum took one step back, then another. Now that everything was over, his exhaustion was beginning to catch up with him. Normally, he'd spend the day after a full moon sleeping.
