"Put down my weapon? After what I saw you do?! Do you really expect me to do that?!" Her voice trembled like her body as she nervously pointed her weapon at him, backing away a bit from the towering man. "I doubt the soldiers would hurt me, but you're the one who's going to have to deal with them too..."
The man was intimidating, that's for sure...but Aether never liked anyone to be far more dominating and intimidating than herself. "If you tell me why you're here, and why those soldiers are after you, I'll put down my weapons...But I want an answer." It looked like Aether wasn't about to move or let guard down... She needed those answers, even if they could be lies.

"I am a weapon...what more do.."
*Before he could finish a knife hit him right on the shoulder, he howled again and this time disappeared. Some men surround Aether, Cloaked fully with glowing masks on, more then likely to help them see movement at night. One of there heads where taken clear off before they knew what hit them and there he was crouched with what appeared to be a long crescent shaped blade covered in the blood of the man he just killed*
"He ther~!"
*Once again in a instant the man had split his blade into two and sent them flying into two others sides connected and controled by him through a long chain*
"You are all going to ******** die here for what u did to us..... though.. i guess i should thank u for giving me this power..."
*But before he could attack the others a song could be heard in the distance*
"Oh s**t..."
*The man said before a orb of energy surrounded him*

"W--....wha..." Aether was once again shocked at the sight of blood and corpses sprawled on the floor before her and the cloaked man... And that inhuman strength he posessed was more terrifying to her... The smell of blood also made her quiver and yet hightened her senses.
The song she heard from a distance snapped her out of her state of shock briefly just before the cloaked man had orbs of energy surrounding him, "W...What the hell is going on...?!" Aether demanded, but she knew she would not recieve any answers just yet. Aether growled and once again mustered up the courage to do something brash and impulsive. She ran toward the cloaked man and grabbed him by his arm, pulling him back and dragging him toward the back exit.

"S-shut up! I'm not helping you!" Although, the man was a bit heavy...She wouldn't make it far like this... Aether growled at the man, "How the hell do you make this...this 'hymn' thing disappear?! You're slowing us down!"
Clearly, Aether had no idea what he meant by hymn nor understood how he was paralyzed.
She spat at the man and rolled her eyes as she dragged him behind an alleyway, "Accomplice...Tch, now they're going to be looking for me... Whatever. Screw the law. You owe me for ruining my bar anyway, and you're going to make it up to me, a*****e." Aether was rather rough for a dainty girl...And a rather large vocabulary to boot. Who would of thought a woman with such a beautiful voice could be stuck in a place like this and with an overbaring demeanor?

"A songstress...? Me? ...I don't think I come close to being one of them. Sorry..." She lifted him up a bit and leaned him against the alley wall, "So that's a hymn...One single song can paralyze you instantly, huh...?"
Aether sighed and shrugged, "Fine. I'll make sure to keep you hidden...but I want my damn answers. Care to explain now, while we have a little time?"

"It would make little diffrence to someone who is not a songstress as to what my purpose is... but i guess i can tell u that i am a "Ender"... A Weapon of war for the songstresses..."

"...You're an...Ender...?" Aether's eyes widened at his claim. There was no other way to describe a man with such unyeilding power, and the runes all over his body... And those scars, probably recieved in battle or some ordeal. "...I-I can't believe it..." She crouched down in front of him, observing his details, "...So that's why you were so easily affected by that hymn..."
This was all too mind boggling for the singer, and rather surprising... "Well, there isn't much I can do...I can sing pretty damn well, but I'm no where near songstress material, at least in my own eyes. But that still doesn't answer why you were being chased by those soldiers..."

Aether wasn't very hymmnos savvy, but she chose to attempt breaking the core of the program. "I'm not sure how a songstress does it, but I'll give it a go..." Aether began to sing a rather simple hymn, but her voice grew fiercer, the power behind the voice hacked into the very core of the program binding him.

Once Aether had stopped singing, the program was finally broken and allowed the man to move freely once again. She eyed him, raising a brow at first... "...Maybe it was a weak program. Who knows and who cares? You're free now, right?" Aether dismissed the subject with a wave of her hand, "Well then, let's get going... I don't want to get into more trouble." Aether grabbed the man by his arm and pulled him along through the alleyways.
"It's best if we keep away from open areas. My place isn't far from here either."

Aether nodded and bolted as fast as she could through alleyways. She would occasionally stop on a couple of corners while soldiers passed by. "...Looks like they really want you back..."
Once the soldiers left, the two would make their way towards a group of apartments not too far from the city. Though not very fancy, they were a lot nicer looking than most of the places around. "Come on, we're almost there." Aether ran up the stairs and to the end of the hallway where her home was. She quickly unlocked the door and shoved the man inside the apartment first, then herself and locking up behind her. "Ugh...We can relax for a little, but if they decide to come look for you here, I'm just as screwed as you are..."
