At the accusation, Cara stared down at her plate. What had she been eating? She usually made it a habit of not checking if she wasn't sure, in case her stomach couldn't handle the truth, and she opened her mouth to tell the Mandolorian so when she heard the scraping sound of a plate sliding towards her. She looked up at Ena, as if waiting for final permission, then shrugged, breaking off a small piece and quickly popping it in her mouth.
"...Not bad," Cara said after a moment's hesitation, putting her hand over her mouth as she spoke so Ena couldn't see her chew. "It kinda sticks to your mouth."

Ena smirked. "Uj cake does that," she said. "It's a Mandalorian thing. The food processors here kriffed it up in a big way, though. It's supposed to be sweeter, stickier, and harder than that."
"Never trust a droid to do a cook's job," she added. "But it's certainly better than that Bantha fodder you were eating before."

"Stickier?" Cara looked down at the cake with some form of disbelief. It was sticking to the roof of her mouth as it was! Perhaps it was a cultural thing, and she just wasn't used to it, but Cara thought if it got much stickier, her mouth would be glued shut. "Tastes fine to me," she commented to herself, downing the remainders of the Uj cake with a sip of her drink.
"So, I heard the Masters have the obstacle course going for the apprentices," Cara added with a smirk, trying to make conversation. "It'd be fun to go up there and check it out."

"Perhaps," said Ena, the hints of a wry smile beginning to play across her lips. This seemed to make them thin out a bit, though the lower one still had a bit of a disproportionate pout about it. With her Mando training, she had a suspicion that whatever 'obstacle course' the masters had set up would be fairly simple, but she didn't mention it.
"If only to watch a bunch of clumsy adolescents trip over themselves," she concluded in a way that was certainly most un-Jedilike.

"No kidding. I do not miss that age," Cara responded with a nod, for emphasis. She stood, collecting the pile of plates that had amassed around her during the course of the meal, then nodded at her fellow Knight.
"I'll see you around, then, yeah? It's a small place--we'll bump into eachother eventually." She offered a smile, and then went to the kitchen droid to return all plates and silverware before leaving, for training or some other form of Sith-like shenanigans.
