Inspiration: Snow angels! 8D Except... y'know, instead of actual snow angel, it's a snow-covered ornament that happens to have a halo for some reason. o.o I dunno.

Inspiration: A bunch of things... Stained glass, traditional Christmas colors (red, green, gold and white)... This is supposed to be a sort of abstract sunrise thing to represent the New Year. The symbols in the two little circles are the Greek alpha and omega, to represent beginnings and endings.
