 Trillian's thoughts were broken as a shadow passed overhead. The winged pearlace turned his head upwards to perhaps find out the source of it. Could be one of those devices from the surface people. In his many travels he'd seen a good deal of the devices that had fallen into the sea. They each had different names written on the front of them, elegant names that very well have been a way to establish ranking among the crew abord them. In his younger days he had explored many of the ruins of the curious things. Unfortunately there were some that still clung to their crew. Bodies long decayed had become skeletons lined with algee, barnicles, and other bits of sealife. Odd trinkets laid among many of them. He had found the silken white glove that he wore on his right hand in one such exploration of the mysterious things. What they'd be doing in this regon he could only imagine. He'd heard rumors from various parts of the sea that they sought after them, the water people. That they had devices made of tightly woven rope to trap aquatic creatures with. These things, too, Trillian had encountered. An abandoned tangle of thin, black cord had been drifting about in the water, the bottom of the mess snagged on a bit of rock. In the tangle, laying on its side quite dead had been a young dolphin. Quite a tragety if there ever was one in the sea. Dead fish laid bug-eyed along with the trapped creature, fragments of wood and seaweed along with the whole mess. How or why they would do this to anything baffled the winged one.
His feathers bristled slightly as he watched the shadow make its pass over the city. They seemed to be going along on their way... at least that was a releaf. Taking a long sigh, the man moved the sac on his shoulder to be a bit more comfortable. He could hear the chattering of others nearby- two young romantics by the sound of it. Smirking a bit he shook his head, continuing his way towards the palace. Surely he'd be granted permission to the temple... he had heard that in this regon breaking to the surface was a crime but the laws of these beings meant little to him. He lived by his own laws- the laws of right. He was born with wings- feathered wings like the white birds he had seen flying above the surface. It couldn't be a mistake.
He paused in his flight again, turning to the two that were conversing nearby. Perhaps they could tell him how to arrange a meeting with the royals. Clearing his throat to draw a bit of attention to himself he swam towards the other two. "Pardon... my intrusion upon your conversation, but might I ask for just a moment? I'm not from around this regon."

Albrecht was about to answer when he shivered as the darkness passed over him and Saiko. For a moment he seemed scared and automatically grabbed a hold of Saiko's hand in an almost protective manner. "What was that?"
His head turned slightly to then look at the new pearlaice. He gave a small blink and tried to let the worry wash away from his face, "Usually they summon you..I am not sure how you make an appointment..." He felt silly, almost stupid next to this other male, though he tried not to show that he felt insecure.

Inside Saiko's mind she was growling ... all of these intrusions ... all she wanted was to be with Albrecht alone, so they could hang out like old times. But she gave the angelic Pearlaice a smile.
Grasping Albrecht's hand made her blush ... she felt funny ... a feeling she's never had before.

He made a bit of a face at the news. They summoned? They didn't take appointments... that was horribly silly. What if there was a matter in their kingdom that needed to be addressed for the common people? He sighd, taking a slow glance to the palace once again. Well there was no victory if one never tried. Turning back he smiled to the other two, bowing his head politely, "Well thank you for your time. I'm terribly sorry for the intrusion." With that he turned himself and began back towards the palace. The residants here were pretty scarce- and most seemed a bit shy towards him. Perhaps his wings were a bit intimidating? Perhaps or perhaps not. Either way he had to at least try to see the royals.

"Yah, no problem. Just go ahead and ask someone that knows a little more.." He called after as the male pearlaice swam off.
He furrowed his brow but kept a hold of Saiko's hand and glanced at her with a small smile, "Never a dull moment with us huh?" He gave a shy chuckle.
He glanced down at their joined hands but didn't let go. It was hard to see if he was blushing or not.

Saiko giggled, 'Yes. Life's been dull without you Albrecht ... I've missed you a lot.' She said this last part softly, in a purring tone. Determined to set the mood back~! scream

He blinked a little blushing a bit, "I..I..I..I..I..." He stuttered a bit as his attention was sunk back into his present situation, "I miss--missed you too, Saiko. I missed you a lot." He said the last part a bit more firmly so that he knew he ment it. What was this funny effect she suddenly had on him?

Saiko smiled. She felt so weird now ... but she didn't care. Well she did, but she wasn't worried ... the feeling made her feel happy, joyful ... and complete.
'What have you been up that has been so important, I haven't beenable to see my hero for so long?'
She had called him her hero when he saved her from the shark with Sage. She hoped he hadn't forgotten about that ... and her for this long time.

He still felt uneasy about that shadow that passed but soon Saiko pretty much managed to get him to put that worry somewhere on the backburner, "Kabuto has been teaching me how to defend myself and others...He also had a talk with me about what happened. I..Was scared you would be upset with me because of everything that happened..I felt like I failed to protect you." He looked away a little at that, "I didn't mean for you to get hurt...If something worse would have happened..I'd have.."
He'd have what? Turned evil? Closed himself off? Kill himself? He wasn't sure. He just knew Saiko was okay, this in turn made him wrap his arms around her and hold her to him. So what if they were in public right now. He didn't care.

His sudden hug surprised her ... but she didn't care. The tears started to fall, as she hugged him back, 'I could never be mad at you ...'

Shadda swum along the city streets looking into windows when anything that sparkled caught her eye. The black and cream Pearlaice smiled tail moving in a slow easy motion as she looked at the sparkly jewerly.

His sudden hug surprised her ... but she didn't care. The tears started to fall, as she hugged him back, 'I could never be mad at you ...'
He smiled at her and seemed happy, "Nor I mad at you. I..." He stopped for a moment and just stared into her face for a moment. What would be the right thing to say? He wasn't sure.
((Sorry for my long absence...My mother had a break down and family issues had overtaken me like something fierce.))

Saiko smiled once more. She never remembered smiling this much, since her and Albrecht's treasure hunt. Just one problem ... what to say next?
