So, a good race of Vampires. Would be something like the Charmed ones. Helping out the police in secret. Cause really there would be no way to actively help out without revealing who they were. Forever Knight was a good example. Of how a vampire with good intentions. Can on occasion go very wrong. He used his powers as a Vampire, to catch criminals. But any and every time he inflicted serious harm on someone. He was still seen as a monster. It was only the fact. That he was known as a human cop. And not a vampire. That he was able to continue doing what he did. That's the thing about a good race, whose goal is to actually help. The only way they can really be more than rogue monsters. Is to take the chance in being found out.
