"Well, if we work together, we could certainly catch stuff easier, but we can only catch one animal...or thing, at a time. If we're separate, we can catch something for ourselves. Maybe we can trade with each other."

"Trading sounds good." Felix agreed, reluctant to tema up with Craban incase he tried to double cross them. Craban seemed equally happy with teh suggestion.
"Alright then." Craban said with a smile and stood up, picking up he equipment on loan. "I'll keep an eye out for you, else we meet back here in a couple of hours, savvy?"

"Alright, Vence said, picking up his equipment. As usual, he held the door open for several people until someone else volunteered. He trudged through the snow up to the edge of the forest before stopping. If he was going to have an advantage, he would have to do it now. He hid behind a tree before he said the words.
Light, bend to my will. Earth, I resist thee. "Jhol, shael sai tia shor. Aes, Ai vaeror si." He felt a short drop in strength, indicating the magic worked. The strength was almost instantly recovered, Serol supplying what he had lost. Glad for te dragon's help, he started off, leaving no prints on the ground, nor could he bee seen, except for a faint shadow.
[Alright, time for a dice roll, ey? smile ]

[yepyep. roll the 100 sided dice :3] Quote: FELIX: 99 = wolf CRABAN: 16 = deer/stag Felix headed out, switching almost completely to his heat vision so that he would be able to spot any animals easily. he kept low and woudl pause every now and again and watch. ..... [wolf --> keep--> Felix attempts to catch wolf (get hp down to 2)] wolf hp = 4Craban had hurried out of the door quickly, determined not to be beaten. He sucked a finger to held it out to figure out which way the breeze was going, and then folowed it to be sure he wouldn't be downwind of any potential animal. As an elf - or rather, what once started out as an elf- he left no footprints in the snow and ligtly walked on top of it. Heading deeper into the forest, he decided to find a tree. findinga large one with thick enough branch cover to keep him relatively well hidden, he climbed it and primed the bow and arrow, deciding to wait. .... [stag --> kill --> craban tries to kill deer - get hp down to 0] deer hp = 3

84 = Small Horse ___ Vence traveled through the forest effortlesly, and wondered wether or not he should make this harder for himself. Technically, this could be called cheating, even though there were no rules saying he couldn't do this. It was still challanging, though. He was defying gravity slightly, which was unbalancing. And he was invisible, even to himself, and that was even more troublesome for balance. It didn't take long for him to spot an animal, not to far away. A horse. Not too interesting. He Decided to wave it off in search of some more...promising catches. [Sorry, Vence isn't interested. whee ]

Felix spotted a wolf and instnatly ducked low. The creature looked magnificent, and had obviously strayed form it's pack. It's nose was low to the ground, snuffling through the snow, and Felix worried that it would catch his scent. he hadn't travelled through that area yet through, so the wolf didn't seem to be pciking him up. As slowly as he could, he withdrew the rope and tied it to a lasso. Hopefully he would be able to catch the wolf and keep the creature alive. Waiting for when teh wofl was distracted, he finally found the moment and sprung itno acion. He jumepd upa nd threw the lasso on the wolf. As it turned to run the lasso caught around it's neck. he puleld tight and the wolf dropped t it's paws, snarling and twisting ferociously. Felix jump[e din and winced away form the claws and teeth, bdining it's legs togetehr to restrain it. "Sorry,mate."
--
Craban waited and a Stag trotted below him, completly unawares to him. He smirked, and imagined the price he could get for it's head mounted or it's warm hide. Heck, they could even get a good meal out of it, and bowstrings form it's tendons. He withdrew his bow, enjoying the feeling of the long range weapon in his hand. It had been a long time since Dara first showed him how to fire a bow, but he had been taught by one of the best. Dara was a but of a coward, but he was a hell of a bowman.he too aim form hsi awkward positiona nd fired down. Teh stag shrieked as it connected into it's stomach. Instantly Craban fired off more arrows.

19 = Deer/stag ___ Vence continued on his way, a little unsteadily, deeper into the forest. He wasn't traveling as fast as he wished, but it gave him the time to see more detail. Amongst some of the trees he saw a deer, and considered for a moment whether he should go for it. It was a tough desicion: he could get some good money for it, and maybe some food or items, but that wouldn't last long. He needed something definitely worthwhile. Chuckling at his own pickiness, he let it be, completely unawares of his presence. [Vence ain't interested in that either, sorry. rolleyes ]

[lol. remember you can always swap/discard the animals you get as you go along. That's what i plan on doing XD]
[5=giant rat --> ignore]
Felix struggled with the wolf, trying to clam it down. he wishe dhe had some sort of posion to knock it out- he didn't want to stress it. A giant rat poked it's head out to see what was going on, before scuttling away.
[45=cat--> ignore]
CRaban hopepd down form the tree and grinned at his catch. The dead stag was magnificent to look at, although it wouldn't be easy to haul it back to the hut. He shook teh reddening snow off hsi boots and set about tying it's legs together

96 = Drake Egg ___ Vence finally mastered the balance problem, and traveled swiftly through the woods. Less active life could be found, except for the occasional rodent or large insect scuttling about. Something about the place was familiar though. Light could be seen through some trees, and he decided to take a dare. As he arrived at the edge of the clearing that now stood before him, he realized why it was familiar. A nest in the middle of a clearing, with several small eggs inside. Drake eggs. "Talk about luck," Vence whispered. "Of all things to find, another Drake egg would be the talk of the town, if people found out I got myself another one." ___
Vence keeps the Drake Egg

[51-giant wasp ~ ignore]
Felix managed to hoise the wolf over his shoulders, despite it's snarling and barking and hurried back to the hut. H ethougt he remebered at the bac Argor keeping some pens. Hopefully the wolf would be able to be kept there until he coudl decide what to do with it. Eventually the wolf stopped thrashing and snarling and laid over Felix's shoulders, it's muscles a little relaxed, but it's ears pricked and it's eyes alert- watching him. Felix didn't have any doubt that the creature would rip his throat out fi it spotted an oppertunity. But it was biding his time. Felix coudln't help but respect it for that.

[my bad for luck on my side]
Vence walked over to the nest, carefully examining each without touching it. One looked a little better than the others, and he carefully picked it up, avoiding touching the others. Extending the charms on himself to the egg, he held it close to him before taking off back to the hut. He was pretty sure the others hadn't caught anything as good. Well, unless Craban found something nice. Knowing him, he would probably catch half the forest before he was satisfied. Or maybe not. Who knew?
Vence stepped back out of the woods without any incident, and removed the charms placed on him and his prize before stepping indoors.
"I can't believe my luck."
