A big problem that I see with legalizing marijuana is taxing it. I do think that if legalized it should be taxed, however we have been doing damn good at getting our hands on it without the government knowing about it, as well as growing it ourselves, that I don't think there is any program that could successfully tax it.
People already don't like paying taxes, so if they will get out of it they can.
Otherwise, I don't see a problem with legalizing it as long as there is an age limit.

If it is legalized it would be taxed. They tax tobacco and everything else. Taxes keep continuing, In my old town they tax how much rain water hit your land. Of course there will still be other laws that go with legalizing. Like it's illegal to grow your own tobacco without a permit. People who smoke most likely wouldn't mind because the tax may possibly be more cheep then what they are paying now.

I never knew they taxed you on natural causes. I'm wondering why the government lets business people to grow tobacco and we're not. Would it effect the land or something? They should just bann nicotine smile THEN, it would be up to the citizen's desire to take tobbaco or not.

when I lived in the states, I grew and sold my own shibby, so if you legalized it back then, I would have no way to pay for college.
In colombia, we pay legalized prices, so its not worth pursuing as a profession.
Anyway, I dont see whats wrong with people doing as they will with their own property.
Their body+ their drugs= their problem, not mine. so legalize 'em all and let god sorth them out

Your problem has been successfully diverted. Not really. Weed isnt like tobacco, it doesnt require a factory process. You take it off the stem, you dry it, you pick out the twigs and seeds, you smoke it. ******** it, even hash can be done at home, very easily. I myself have bought weed like three times in my life, yet have smoked a least once every week ( a lot of the time every day). Growing weed is easy enough, even when its illegal, it will be in half of america's gardens once legalized
