did u know that we r not a nation of christians we are a nation of citizens
america isn't a nation of christians. america may have been founded on "christian ideals" but look who founded it. thomas jefferson even went so far as to say in a letter that the laws of america were not are not nor should ever be christan laws.
the laws we have are laws for a peaceful society, nothing more. the fact that they resemble the laws of the bible are coincidental to the point that both america and the bible were trying to reach the same ends, a peaceful society. you'll never find a law that says you cant shave, and you'll never find a law that says you must stone witches and gays.
we are the melting pot of the world. we take in everybody that will not do our people harm, with them comes their ideals and religions and THAT is what makes america great. not the fact we bring these people in nor the fact that they have diffrent views but the fact we can all live in PEACE with those views.
once again america isnot a christian nation, it is a nation of MULTIPLE religions.
