Anyway,
How is this secret santa if we're giving away the fact that we will be doing this? gonk
I mean, the gifts will be anon'd, but people will still know who's participating. It could also be easy to tell who's donating what if they're the only person within that category. o_o
Like say Q is the only person to do avi art gimmegimme (lol), we'll know it's Q.
Or if Censor is the only person who chose to do the one with 20k+, we'll obviously know it's censor.
You think it'd be better to PM the details, or what?
Also, I want to one of these, but I'll just IM you or something, as I don't want to give away the secret.

He goes way out of his way to get someone something, and it's not like he EVER get's anything in return, aside from cookies that doesn't add up to the worth of the toys.
I mean, by this logic, if you give someone a christmas present, are you going to demand a present back of equal than or more value?
That's not a very fun present-giving gift, is it?

But then again we wouldn't need a Secret Santa if we were all going to just gift anonymously; cuz then we would just do that.

A typical Secret Santa
There are various traditions and ways in which a "Secret Santa" is run. In some variations, as Christmas approaches, names of participants are placed in a hat, and each person draws a name for whom they are to buy a gift. Along with name submission, each participant may also submit a short wishlist of items from which the gift-giver can choose. There is often a limit to how much can be spent on the present. Presents are then sometimes exchanged anonymously. Sometimes people leave hints in cards on desks, others create other special ways to make themselves known.
Often, the gift-giving occasion is practiced with all the presents being placed on a table, marked with the name of the receiver but not the giver. Sometimes the gift-giver will personally give the recipient the present, thereby revealing their identity.
