Hello, I'm Yukino and I am in my last year of graduate school, trying to get my Ph.D. I am Vietnamese/Japanese and I love to change my hair color for some strange reason. I go by Selene or Usagi, whichever you prefer, or Yuki (my real-life nickname).
As you can see I'm a big Sailor Moonie, but I just absolutely love Yazawa Ai's work. I first read Tenshi Nanka Janai a few years ago and absolutely loved it. I soon bought all of the ParaKiss series and now I currently have 13 NANA books.
Paradise Kiss is my favorite because it was actually my parents who wanted me to become a doctor when I wanted to go back to Japan and go to one of their design schools...but owell. Yazawa Ai is a very well respected mangaka in my household and I'm so very happy to be able to talk about it online!

Hello, I'm Fluffballofoom, but you can call me Grace. smile I'm a 23 year old stay at home mom of 2 wonderful kids. I used to own an Anime Store, but it fell on hard times last year and we had to close our doors. I started reading Paradise Kiss the day the first one hit the shelves in America. And I was immediately hooked.
I haven't read too much of Nana, but from what I have read, I love it. And I hope to collect it all eventually. smile

'Nichiwa, minna-san. I'm Miwako-chan, but you can just call me Tora (o.o I love tigers!) or Tora-chan. ^^ I'm a sophmore in highschool who loves art, writing and music. I have also loved manga/anime since I was young. I recently began to read Paradise Kiss this year (Yes, I know I'm really behind xD) as well as Nana. I really cannot believe what I've been missing. I don't remember how/why I started reading Paradise Kiss, but I receive Shoujo Beat, so that's how I get Nana. I would really love more access to Ai Yazawa's work and her series as well as discuss it with nice people... so here I am. xP Gosh, I really wish I had downloaded the manga before. I may just do that with the rest of Nana. ^^
Miwako-chan is very glad to meet you all. :]

Well, I'm Chibi Merrick, but just call me Chibi. It's my real life nick too ^^ I'm 20 years old, but will be 21 on monday! I'm in third year at university of calgary and I'm studying archaeology!
I started liking ai yazawa's work probably a year or so ago, when I started reading Kagen no Tsuki because the movie was going to come out (And Hyde was gonna be in it...). I loved it so much, I went looking for more titles and found Nana soon after and I have read everything up to date. Then I bought Paradise Kiss over the summer, and also read Monogatari too.
My favorite is defienetily Nana, and I really cannot wait for the movie to come out on DVD. But Paradise Kiss is definitily a close second. See, I went in archaeology cause it is fun, but I would have prefered art or drawing or something... but it's harder to get a job in that field so.. and that kinda made me nostalgic or something, the manga.

Hi, I'm new to this guild. I love all of Yazawa-san's art. I bought volume 1 of Nana tuesday, the date that I had read was the release date. I also own all of Para-kiss and love it. I hope that Neighborhood story will get released in English.

Hay :3 I'm new, yaaay XD I've been a fan for about 3 years, since coming across ParaKiss at Waldenbooks when I worked at the mall. It was already up to the 3rd volume at the time, so once I was hooked on vol. 1, I'd ditch the carousel [yeah, i operated a carousel in the mall] and head to the bookstore a couple times XD I'm so bad It's because of Yazawa that I'm so in love with FRUiTS/street fashion. ♥♥♥ I wanna read Neighborhood Story also, the synopsis I read of Mikako & Miwako's childhood... aaah, Im so intrigued! But, about me. I'm 24 right now, I turn 25 on September 2nd [omg so old] and currently I'm a fleeter, pretty much. ^^ I take temp job because Montana sucks like that. This spring I'm going to college in Savannah and living closer to my family, living with my guy bestfriend as we go to college together. Wish me luck! SCAD is terrible XD I'm Pauline, but please call me Paula or Paula-tan/Paula-chan/Pchan ♫ Please check out my crappy art. ^^ http://paulatan.sethimothy.nethttp://cookiefiedbeckish.deviantart.com

My name is Damhnait (pronounced Dev-en-et but most people just call me Damnit XD) or my real name is Devoney (Dev-a-knee, most people say Dev-aw-knee when they first see it, which is wrong!) Many people also call me Dee-chan! I'm turning 17 this July and I've been a fan of Yazawa since the manga Paradise Kiss was released in the United States (how long??). I saw her art and fell in love with every line she used, ParaKiss is definately my favorite manga!

Greetings and salutations. You can call me Astarii. I'd give an actual name, but I change it fairly often. Right now I'm Cailleach (KAY-lik) Synesthesia, but before that I was Altair, and before that I was Mistress Ivy Rockhopper, and, well......you get the idea. I turn eighteen in February, three days before that accursed holiday known as Valentine's Day. After I graduate, I plan on either becoming a parapsychologist or a dominatrix (or maybe both) while pursuing my dream of owning a harem of bisexual male concubines.
I first started reading Yazawa's work a little over a year ago, when ParaKiss volume one was among the first nine manga books I ever bought. It was the beginning of an all-consuming obsession, which involved me buying almost 200 more manga in the space of a year, and disowning my family members for their disapproval of my manga-loving habits. Over the summer I read Nana for the first time in the first issue of Shojo Beat. I was disappointed at first, but it has picked up some and now it's probably either my second or third favorite story in SB. Vying with Zettai Kareshi, such as it were.
ParaKiss is still my favorite of her works. I love the characters. I love the subject. I want to go to Yaza Arts! crying
