I DESPISE Roy's eyepatch.

And here's why.

One thing that makes me love Roy so much as a character is that his face fits his personality--he has this rather hard, impassive face that *IS* capable of showing large-scale emotion, though only when provoked, and it hides his deeper feelings (like his war-veteran-angst). This mimics his behavior: He often masks his reasons for doing things, and carries with him an unintelligible attitude that is only broken when he is incredibly emotional (IE, the night after he killed the Rockbells, he was pretty damn freaked out).

And now that he has a huge freaking eyepatch covering half his face, he looks permanentely SAD. It destroys his character face.

The eyepatch is kind of sort of not really growing on me. I just wish he could find Marcoh and ask him to get him his eye back. >__>

If Marcoh is alive, that is...

The eyepatch...Why is it there anyways? I think I missed it in the movie. But I kinda prefer without the eyepatch. But does it really matter? Riza will love him both ways anyways. x3

Roy got that eyepatch thingy in episode 51, so even if you haven't seen the movie -- like me -- you'll eventually see it in the anime. sweatdrop
