Well i've done a bit of thinking and well I've realised that I most probably won't have the time to actually code anything specific yet.... so if you would ask your friend then that would be cool.
I was thinking along the idea of....
1) The current user name is used as a simple form of ID
2) Once ID'd the user can then modify, in real-time, their CL on a generated list.
3) The modifications to thier CL will be shown, with Last modified date#
For example
Ti Shi | CL: 5.8 | Date: 17/11/08
Now it shoud be possble by using an .SWF file but with my lack of time and my lappy on the blink... hence this heap of junk i'm on now, it's better than nothing... i'm not going to be able to do it sometime soon.
So it would be nice, if someone could do something along those lines biggrin An yes I know if someone thinks "I can easily edit everyones CL on that list with alittle coding" I really don't give a sh!t cos if they have time to do that.... to something that has no Great Value.... really need to get a life lmao!
Well if you think your friend could do something like that, then it would be usefull and we'd be greatfull smile

That sounds really cool! Something like a lot of other games have. It might also help to get other members to join up.

Fantastic Supr, that'd be great >< I'm pulling two jobs at the mo, so yea... I've got little time on my hands and anytime I do get i'm usually busy anyhow... or just so freakin knackerd I can't do anything sad
I've got the next couple of days off, which is cool, but still my lappy is on the blink and I think it will be for a few weeks sad So not fair, nothing too seriouse, I jus' gotta resolder the ethernet port... I hope... and all should be well. Trouble is, is getting the time and patients to do so... and being botherd lol. Good news is, I will be getting a new lappy, or desktop, within the month so everything will be back to normal... it'll just be an issue of time biggrin

Well, Houston, we have a problem. My friend just got dumped by his GF and he's a bit down. He refuses to do anything which involves coding since he has some bad memories of it making a webpage for them being together for a year. Well. They didnt make it. Bummer.
I have no idea how to make something like that myself so I'm still looking for someone to make it for me. If any of you members is cunning and good with programming and can make us something we ask for, there could be a hidden reward.. Just to take our leader of the hard work of being overstressed by programming his head off. (by accident of course).
The reward is a 2000 gold coming from my mule IF you can guess his/her name =)

IDEA FROM SUPR VOO! PAY ATTENTION!
The idea is a going-on-a-break forum. Where people can tell others they will be off and wont be able to come to any meets or wont reply to PM's, just not to raise suspicion.
I hereby tell all who read this that i wont be on very much until the 19th of December due massive amounts of filthy, gross, smelly and stupid homework

I have come to the conclusion that we don't really need gold as a clan, having nothing realy to spend it on other than sub-forums, so I have decided to drop the entry fee to 10g biggrin I hope you all agree with the change, if not i'll put it back smile

Hey matty smile Think that was a good move hun, 10g is alot more affordable for everyone and if you havn't got anything to use it on then 100g is a bit steep smile Love the CL Idea, think it'd be great as soon as someone codes it lol! I also think the un-active thread is a good one supr, maybe we could use it along with the CL list??? I dunno...

Right, well it has come to my attention that a few of you ppl don't quite know what cloud 9! is.... lol... my bad, well to clear things up it's a bar/lounge on cloud 9! It's like a general chat but with RP mixed in, I wish I still had access to the original thread sad
Still in need of some ideas for an RP smile
Also, we need to think of some way to keep members of the clan active in the forums smile We're at 36 members now which is fantastic.... with that amount this forum should be alittle busy at least. When the numbers increase our clan will not only be known for it's zOMG attatchment but I hope it will also be known for it's forum smile

Well, in the nest few weeks i shall have my lappy baqck up and running properly... either that or a new one lol... an in my spare time i'll code something, with luck, an we'll have some kind of CL list >< I'll also try and get it to display an "online" status ><

Hey all, just another thought, it would be advantageouse if everyone was to add eachother as buddies.... we can then see when eachother is online, chat etc etc biggrin It's just alot nicer if you get my meaning biggrin

I'm considering a type of raffle sometime soon or a prize give away >< Should be cool... any idea on this is most welcome smile
Also i'm considering a type of Pay System for invites and such, will let you know what I decide at a later date ><
The idea of a council for the clan is also in the mix. I want to know what your opinions are of this... it will work along the lines of...
The clan members come up with an idea
The idea becomes popular
It is brought before the council
The council votes For/Against
The majority rules
Everything will be done in this way, for orders, special events etc etc not just for ideas, it gives each member of the clan to have a voice in a sense biggrin
The council will be formed of Vice Captains, minimum of six, to go with the theme of the clan
Being captain I will lead the council, though that gives me no "special" privilages as such. The other 5 members are voted in by the rest of the clan... for that I was thinking each month or something??
Let me know what you think, if it's a good or bad idea and any additions/changes that you can think of biggrin

Well unfortunately this isn't a Gaia Guild it's a Gaia Clan, thier is a difference. It will show under Clan, My Clan etc etc. In some cases Gaia referres to the clan as a guild but in reality it is not. Sorry if that dissapoints.
The clan system is new to Gaia, in a sense, and it seems to need some improvements and fixes amongst other things, other than that it's a good system smile
