Here's another thing that happened a bit more recently. It was right before the quiet cycle started.
My neighbor, who's old, went to stay with his daughter, and I'm in charge of keeping an eye on his house. I was going through his porch room thing, and went up the front stairs to go over the porch and down the back, when I could've sworn someone was watching me from inside the house, when no one was there. I spoke out loud, saying what I was doing, and the feeling got less strong. I went through and watered his yard, and when I was going back through I still felt it, so I said I was just going back through, that I was done watering... *shivers*
Another time, also involving my neighbor's house. My friend Jess and I went over to use his bathroom, since we're having plumbing issues. I have a key, so it's ok. I used the opportunity to check his house over to make sure it was ok while she was in the bathroom. The whole time I was in there I had the feeling like someone was watching me, and I was starting to get freaked out. My friend, while she waited for me, was getting the same feeling from the place. It wasn't because it was empty.... It just creeped us out really badly...
We went over one other time, about a week or 2 later. Same situation, same feelings there. As Jess waited for me, she noticed under the room door in the back of the house by the bathroom was a rag doll. It looked like it had been shoved under the door from inside the room. We couldn't figure out why it was like that, so we pulled it all the way out to make sure it was ok, and opened the door of the room and tossed it in. The room felt the same way the back bedroom here at my house tends to feel, so I was wary about opening it. It was mostly empty of furniture, and was just creepy. We tossed the doll in and left the house. I haven't gone back into the house since. It's just too creepy to go alone.
The first thing, about watering, was during the day, and the other two took place at night.

My paranormal experiences would have been:
These mostly happened in my room or the basement.
I would see things out of the corner of my eye a lot (I cant really consider that evidence or anything but they were really clear)
I once had a ghost sit on my bed while I was sleeping (It was a girl because of the weight she was giving off; and I knew it wasnt my mom because I looked up and no one was there)
I also saw my dead grandmother once... that was depressing.
I would also feel cold spots (My room was usually really, really warm) in my room and sometimes hear voices.
I would always feel paranoid and I lost sleep cause I would see things, I would stare at them for hours before I fell asleep from exhaustion, in my room and the basement.
But now Ived moved so no more being paranoid. biggrin

i had a really interesting experience this weekend while I was at a hotel with my friends. When we were all getting ready for bed and the lights were out, i could swear i felt like something was in the room, i even thought that i could see a black mass. I decided to just ignore it and try to get some sleep. I had the most terrible dream that really bothered me, so much that my bf had to wake me up. At that point, I could tell that something was up in the room, my stomach seemed to be really bothering me, and it wasn't that upset stomach feeling either. something started talking through my bf asking for my help and that something bad was coming. I said i'd help if i could to keep them safe, but for some reason i didn't feel threatened at all, like i knew that whatever it was wasn't going to do any harm to me or my friends. Eventually the spirit showed up in our room, my other friends were fast asleep, except for my bf who was next to me in bed. I told the spirit that I would help it to become pure again (i have some interesting spiritual powers). After it was helped, it thanked me and went on its way.
I thought that was the end of the spirits for the weekend, but unfortunately, we got hit again the next night there. This time it seemed a lot worse. I felt so much fear from whatever it was that it was unbarable..I heard noises that I would never want to hear again..so did my bf. Whatever it was, it wasn't human at all..i saw it...not really the best thing to see, i couldn't even describe it here..it was just aweful. Luckily, it was getting lighter outside so that weakened the spirit that was there and it eventually left us alone..and even better this entity was bound to the ground that the hotel is at so it couldnt follow us home.

A couple nights ago, I woke up at 3 in the morning and couldn't go back to sleep. So I grabbed a paper chain I was making and headed to the living room to work on it. I had the light of the TV. So I added the fifth ring and then heard something say "Hey there." come from the den behind me. and the only thing near the den was me and the dog in my room. I turned on the Computer for extra light and continued.
Last night I woke up at 2:55. I tried laying back down to sleep, but couldn't I kept staring at the ceiling. Then I heard, "I can see you..." which sounded like it came from my room, but I figured since I lived in a trailer it came from the hallway in front of it. So I tried covering up ignoring the fact I heard the voice. But still couldn't sleep so I was back in the living room making more rings.

Apparently there used to be an elderly woman's ghost in my house. o.o This isn't really one of my experiences, but I thought I should share it anyhow, since my mother doesn't go on Gaia.
I can't remember what she would do, but my mom would always see this woman around the house sometimes. I think she saw some shadows, too. All I know is that she said it wasn't friendly, so she smudged(clensed) the house. She never had any of those experiences again afterwards.
It's not very long or detailed because I didn't retain that much about it. x_x
I have my own experiences, too.
One time, we were staying over at my grandparents' old cabin. My sis and I were going to sleep, but talking for a bit before we did. We were using a bed with a trundle to sleep. My sis got the ebd, and I got the trundle. While my sis was talking, I ended up seeing this black mass "crawl" up from what seemed like under the bed! I didn't say anything because I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me in the dark, and I knew that if I did, my sis would freak out. I just... watched it for a while, staring right at it as it hovered over my head. I only felt a little bit frightened. I remember just shutting my eyes so I didn't have to see it and thinking to myself, "You're imagining things..."
Now my grandparents have moved to a new house, so I don't really have any experiences when we go and stay over with them any more.
It didn't feel hostile, but it still kinda creeped me out. And this was before I got into Ghost Hunters, so I had no idea it was a spirit. And, actually, some time before my mother smudged the house, I was seeing black masses. Mainly around my closet and the entry to our attic, which is in my sister's room. Those are the two places my sis hates. xP Heheh. "The Spooks"
This next one was... actually in our own house. A few years ago, one of our beloved cats had died of an unknown cause. She had actually secluded herself from the other cats before she died. It was a sad day when our parents found her body. I was the only one not crying, but the emotions finally caught up to me a few weeks later. This year, my sis and I were standing in the bathroom, getting ready for bed or something, and while we were talking, we could hear what we thought was Angel munching on some of her cat food(since the bowl is in the bathroom.) When I look dow, expecting to see Angel, I see her tail peeking out from the doorway, and a bit of her back.(She was sitting up) I heard another crunch from the food bowl, look down, then back up, and Kayla's got this grin.
"That's not Angel is it?" she asks. And I shake my head.
A few days ago, while I was playing Kingdom Hearts(the first, it's the best.) for my sis, I heard the crunching of cat food from the bathroom again. This time, Angel was laying down in the hallway.
We beleive it's the spirit of our beloved cat, Baby.
...now wake up, my silent girl. Take to flight, like a foolish angel. Sing me your fantasy*~

I think I might know what that second entity you were talking about my be, but I'm not about to say it. -shudders- I'm lucky that I don't have to deal with them.

Lieutenant Bubbles but I did one night hear something that sounded like a child sighing real loud, and moaning at the same time... i thought i had heard a sigh once,or some form of a cough,i really cant remember,that sounded like a little girl i kinda shrugged it off though because i was at my dads house which is only 2 years old(pretty much brand new) and its in one of those fancy neighborhoods,so there was only a forest there before

I think I might know what that second entity you were talking about my be, but I'm not about to say it. -shudders- I'm lucky that I don't have to deal with them
it wasn't that awesome to deal with a hostile or what seemed hostile entity. Do you know what i'm talking about with the really frightening entity? I do have a feeling i know what it is as well, but i don't know if anyone would believe me. I do have a feeling it is brought on by druids.

Druids. It's a good thing I went to wikipedia to get some info on Druids, otherwise I would have thought they were all like the class on WoW. xD
Naw, that's not really the entity I'm thinking of... but I don't exactly know what it orginated from. I do know that they are not something I want to have to deal with... /shudder

not too many people would want to deal with this type of entity and no offense to anyone here, but not too many people COULD deal with an entity like this. The aura coming from it was terrible..it was absolute fear, and seeing it has given me some bad dreams. I would say if anyone EVER feels anything like that, just get out fast, even though I don't think there are any of these entities left. We had something help us out with the entity and it's clan i'd say..and they are all tied up! Good for us!

Believe it or not, Spirits follow you. And even if it wasn't a spirit that had attached itself to you, it may have been haunting the property, not the house. That's very common as well. Or, it could have followed your dad. Just because a house is new, never rule out a haunting because of that.

I have this painting that was given to me after the passing of my great grandmother. It has quite a history...
When my mom was a young girl, her parents (my grandparents) received this painting from an acquaintance of theirs. Soon after strange things would take place in their home...
Every time there was a thunderstorm, their home would be attacked by lightning...It was odd because they had never experienced such happenings before.
Well, the picture eventually made its way to be hung above the TV. The next storm they had...The TV caught fire from the lightning!!
Well my mom tried time and again to tell her parents that there was something "not right" with the painting...it gave her the creeps!! She swore to them that the picture was the cause of the wierd lightning.
They wouldn't listen, they didn't believe in such "nonsense"...My Grandfather coming from a strict family background & being a retired Navy veteran, There was no room for such thoughts in his thick head! LOL
Sometime later, my great grandmother (my grandpa's mom) ended up with the painting. She never had any problems with it, but then again it was never hung near an outlet or TV?!!?
That's where I come in.
From the first time I saw it, I knew I wanted it. There is just something about it. It's not a scary picture to view, it's the "feeling" you get from it. So, when she passed, I asked if I could have it. The family couldn't believe that I would want it but at the same time they were happy to get rid of it.
I had to do a test of my own lol. So, oh yea, you guessed it....I hung it up in my living room above the TV!! Hahahahha (funny now)
Sure enough the legend holds true. We (my hubby & I)got a mild thunderstorm and we experienced lightning like we never had before!! Ruined our stereo and a dvd player!! After that I moved it to another wall in the living room (didn't really want to see my TV go up in smoke lol) to see if it was just a coincidence....nope, it wasn't. We had issues with lightning that whole summer until.....I moved it to the bedroom!!

The woman who gave the painting to my grandparents had bought the painting from a local artist...that is all I know. I have tried to research the artists name but no luck. It's a mystery!!
