~nearing Aries Order

{random number thing was changed since I last used it. I hope it still works...}

Kuro stood, tossing the sharpening stone to the side, and raised his sword forward while he took a few steps back. He gave a quick bow, "The first strike in a first blood match? You must feel lucky!" He leapt forward, trying to close the short distance in a quick amount of time and made a small cut towards the top of his head.

{Edit: Kinda disappointed that I got it...}

Kuro chided himself for not noticing his attention elsewhere earlier. He turned, still holding the gleaming sword and saw the figure. "So we do..." He gestured towards the figure, "So, are you going to ignore that John Doe, or do you want to investigate?" He decided to test the figure`s allegience; holding up his sword, Kuro began waving it. The sword, as in it`s nature, began showing an array of colors, easily visible to the person, and clearly identifying him as the owner of the unique sword.

"Well, I don`t trust any monster near that mountain." He used his head to motion towards the steep mountain behind him. "It twists most normal monsters; I think the very fact that we can see it from here is a bad sign. This is one of my first times at this part though, so you make the call: fight or flight?" Noticing the thing probably was an animal, he sheathed the sword, it`s shine dinning the moment it reached the scabbard.

~Between Mt. Lunarus and Aries HQ

"Yeah, there will always be monsters out there. We can`t spend all day stopping every time we see one." He followed suit onto the chocobo. "I don`t think we are that far away. It shouldn`t take more than a few minutes to get there."

~Aries HQ

"Thank you ----" He paused, realising he never gave his name. "Well, I hope for a better alliance between our orders." He turned to his order, put his hands to his lips, and made a loud whistle. His chocobo came running from near the tip of the volcano down towards him, stopping at his feet. "I will, `till next time we meet." In a powerful leap, he boarded the chocobo; it quickly adjusting to his weight. It began a light pace up the mount, towards the minor slit in the mount that was the entrance to the order.

~Aries HQ

About mid-way up the mount, the chocobo made a sharp turn, and began circling around the mount. Towards the complete other side, he hopped off, and walked on the small plateau towards the rock face. His hand swept the rocks, eventually finding the one that he was looking for. With a powerful tug, the rock moved on an invisible hinge upwards; revealing a small grey swith that blended with the mount. Kuro flicked it up and the entire rock face began sliding down. "It`s good to be back."

After he and Gunner walked into the Mount, Kuro closed the large gate behind him, and took a few steps into the order. 'What to do... What to do.' The first thing that came to his mind was obvious, he had to pay his respect to Belias, and replenish his supplies, most of which had gone bad in his bag from lack of use.

He quickly told his chocobo to return to the small ranch they had within the order, and started walking towards the sanctuary {That`s what i`m going to call it}. 'I wonder what I should do.' Then he remembered that the Hunters` Gathering was recruiting new members, so he supposed that he would do that instead of staying around the order, and probably be forced into teaching the new members. 'Bah... these new guys are like small children. They can`t learn anything on their own, they have to come to me...' He passed several of such members along his walk, casually ignoring their questions and comments.

When he reached the sanctuary, he approached the statue of Belias, and the table and large roaring fire for offerings. He bypassed the table and fire, having brought nothing but a few meager stalks of gyashl greens; nothing he considered a worthy sacrifice. So he knelt down by the statue for a few moments, asking for strength in battle, and speed in a race.

After he finished paying his respects, he walked towards the exit of the large room. He rolled his eyes once he noticed that a small crowd of novices had gathered outside and were watching him. He pushed through their masses, and began making his way across the volcano towards the ranch.

He arrived within a few moments, having rushed to leave. He picked up Gunner, who had just finished a meal and was only beginning to get comfortable. He walked it to the exit and quickly asked the guard, "So, where`s Lyrac?" He expected one of two answers, 'I don`t know', or 'Sleeping in the brig'. Getting the latter; he boarded Gunner, and ran back down the Mount, towards the Hunter`s gathering.

He was sleeping like a baby, to the guards guarding his cell, it was more than amusing to see their own Judge sleep in the cell again, and having to hear sleep talk about nonsense, which ranges from food, to girls, to battles, to fights that he always gets into, which are usually the range of his sleep talking.. the soldiers kept the key away from him, as once he's awake, he will be very upset, that the whole entire time, he had been sleeping in the brig.
