She looked up on him as he wrapped his cloak around her. Was he being kind to her, ever after what she did?
"I.... I'm Nari. Nice to meet you.... even thought I think that is the worst impression I've ever made on someone...."
She tried to smile, to wave it off as a joke, but deep inside she felt miserable. This whole situation was new to her and she felt uncomfortable and uneasy. In fact, she felt like crying. But that, if anything, would make this sutiation worse that it laready was, so she bit her lower lip and blinked a few times. Her chest hurt from the lump she refused to loosen up.

He nods and smiles, speaking with a small purr in his voice. "Nice to meet you Nari, don't worry about it though, I always get attacked."

She lifted her head as she heard the purring, and for a brief moment she wondered where he had hid the cat, until she realized the purring came from him. She lifted one eyebrow and studied him in the moonlight.
"Always attacked?" she repeated. "How come?"

He blinks and sweatdropped, sighing quietly as he looked down. "Because I'm a demon"

Nari gasped and her eyes widened as she stared at him, almost in shock. That was the last answer she had expected, and that he said it after only knowing her for ten minutes took her compleatly by surprise. Nervously she wondered what to do. Her thoughts began swirling in her head:
If he reveals that kind of thing just like that to someone he just met, it must mean that even if I were to attack him in order to rid this world of another demon.... he could easily kill me. Why else would he reveal a thing like that? Isn't that something you try to hide? Or maybe not is these parts of the land.... but had it been where I come from....
"A.... demon?" she said, almost afraid to speak, to draw his attention to her. "What kind of demon?"

She found it hard to believe.
"What.... I mean.... you do have magic powers, right? I saw you run over the water without even touching the surface, so some powers you must have. What kind?"

Nari was a little bit confused. The demons she had heard about was able to control one element; fire, earth, wind or water, and sometimes a sub-element, like lightning and stone for example. But never more than one element. If that demon wasn't a mixture between two elements. But that was very rare, as far as she had heard. Could it be that this boy, this Marth, was a mixture between two - or maybe more? - elements? If that was the case, he was truely powerful.

He can control seven elements? SEVEN?! What the heck am I doing here, I should leave.... even though he seems nice. But.... he IS a demon and if he is a mixture, he may be dangerous.....
Nari was shocked. This was something she had never heard of, and she shivered all of a sudden.
She knew from first hand experiemce that demons of mixed elements could have unstable minds and attack at random, or whatever. She was beginning to feel a little uncomfortable in the precense of Marth, even though he seemed stable and nice.
"I....I... I should.... I should be going. It's late, and....uhm...."
She couldn't find any good excuse to leave. It was already in the middle of the night, and they were far from any town or village. Suddenly, she felt very alone....

Without thinking, she accepted the hand and let herself be helped up. She was still soaking wet, but Marths cloak kept the chilly night air out. No, the cold night was not what made her shiver. It was her own rambling thought that was the cause.
"My village?" She asked and then shook her head. "My village is far, far away from here. On the Paradise Islands to the south, to be precise."
Idiot! Why tell him that!? the voice in her head exclaimed. The more he knows about you, the firmer his demonic grip will be!
She ignored the voice, and instead smiled. She withdrew her hand from his and hoped that he did not notice ner nervousness.
"I was on my way to the village of Sirid and - silly me - I thought I could get there by night fall. Guess I was wrong."
