Cross notices Ghede looking at the rag tag group of humans.
"Try not to give them too much notice. The humans started flooding into these lands after the war. I'm guessing wherever they came from was far worse off than here." Looks at the humans for a moment then turns back to Ghede. "At least that's the only reason I can think of as to why so many of them are here. They don't seem very smart and are usually quiet harmless, so we should be fine."

Continues to walk on "I guess, just sad to see these lands fall to humans, I mean they just abuse what they have" continues as one of the men grabs him by the shoulder "we don't much care for strangers around here" nods " sorry just passing through" the man grips him tighter " no you won't, a stranger to these parts is a bad thing, means you are up to no good, a criminal, or maybe a spy, either way you should be worth something" glares at him, his eyes flashing a deep crimson "release me or die" his voice much harsher and deeper. The man freaks out and takes off running. Ghede's eyes return to normal "mortals"

Cross takes his hand off the katana he was planning on using if an incident had occurred, and continues walking.
"I find it quite laughable how these damn scruffy fools already think that they own these lands. They hardly survive the winters and now they're attacking people. It just seems kind of stupid."

Looks at them with a glare "only thing they are good for is dieing and food. If the war hadn't killed them all, this land would still be ruled by wolves, and canines." Glares at the humans "I would like nothing more than for them to all leave these lands and the natural order to be restored."

Cross approaches the outer gate to the city and turns to Ghede. "Yes that would be all fine and dandy but I dont think its going to happen any time soon. So stop thinking about it and let's get these doors open!"

Gives Ghede a toothy grin, "How kind."
Cross steps through the narrow opening. As soon as he clears the wide doors, the scent of old blood fillls his nostrils.
"Hey Ghede, something happened here. Recently."

Steps through and catches the scent as his muscles tense "wolf blood, more than one too." Shivers violently " Its old but still a kill of my kind"

Cross cringes as he pulls out his blade. "I can feel a lot of pain still swelled up in this rundown city. I'm pretty sure this happened after the war! I suggest we stay on guard."
