"Well I went to buy a car and saw one of my mates in there and he was in a bit of trouble with Gregg and theese ten armed men. Then some others came in and I decided to go. I got to the edge of the road and i heard a gunshot so I came back in and Gregg was on the floor, with a gun shot wound. I then walked back out and got in a car with some of my mates and we drove off."

Cortez rolled the tape.
It showed
Brett rushing with money.
He started talking.
He payed money and rushed out
As he was leaving he bumped into LLoyd
They talked but Brett pushed past.
Lloyd shrugs and buys a car
Chase comes in.
[The pulls get pulled and the tape goes out]
"Remember? Why were you rushing?"

And it seems you came back to check the goods were exchanged, then you knew what was going to happen with those 10 men, like you knew them, left and came back to help friends escape."
