She stepped closer to the cubs, and stopped a few feet from them.
Suddenly, this didn't seem like such a good idea....The Hyena backed up, and stepped on a sharp rock, evoking a yelp of suprise and pain from her.
So much for sneaking away without being spotted.

Dathedar growled defensively, his paws lowering his body closer to the dried ground. His maw was thrust testily forward as he sniffed the air.
"Who zat?" He demanded.

She growled, frusterated, and mentally cursed her clumsiness. "No one important. Stay away..." She snarled as she sat down to inspect her foot, hoping it wasn't wounded too badly.

Jazovac can't decide if he's happy to have company, or annoyed that he seems to be running into the biggest group of morons he could imagine. Comparatively, his family suddenly seemed great. He takes a few steps toward the newcomer, glancing thoughtfully at Dathedar before examining her. "Why you listenin' in on us? You eavesdropping?"
