i tried to teach myself German a few months ago, but I can't freaking focus to save my life and the book had lots of small text and big pictures. Gah... I'm doomed to know no German!

...I am Half German, my family is German and most of them can speak it fluently...and yet I could never get a chance to learn it. Most of the words I know now are from songs...like Mitternacht, Das Omen, Heul Doch, and Das Bose. Sad that most of my knowledge of German comes from songs....

I'm only fluent in English.... Unfortunately.... But I've always wanted to learn German and Japanese... I know more Japanese than German. The only thing I really say in German is Ich liebe dich... *sigh*

I have taken German 1 and 2. It made my mom angry, she wanted me to take spanish because itll be more valuable in the future. I don't care though. I wanted to learn something different from the rest. The only thing I don't like about the german language is GRAMMAR! It is so confusing sometimes :/ but then again, english grammar is too. XD

Ja, Ich kenne ein bischen Deutsch!
I love the german language! I like how it is a very masculine language. It's a real turn off to hear women speak german sometimes because they sound so manly! rofl

My father taught me to cuss in German, ask where the nearest train station is, ask to dance, ask for directions to the toilet, and order two beers.
Sometimes I think he forgets I'm a fourteen year old girl.
While I have previously been able to cuss in class without teachers knowing, [It's surprising how little are bilingual,] this year my history teacher, who lived in Germany for many many years, caught me with Shiezen, which I so conveniently shouted due to the pissy mood I was in.
.....quite the embarrasing moment.

ICH LIEBE DEUTSCH! I just finished my first year of German, and I'm to start my second next (Junior) year. I love German so much! I hate how people always associate German directly with Hitler, thinking all Germans are "evil Nazis." My German isn't all that good, being just a yearling, but I love it so much, and I can't wait to get back to class!

I love Germany and I love being German! Munich is kick-a**!
I am pretty much pure German, I love anything that is German, and I will always be proud of being German!
My username on here ever has German in it! Though it is ironic since it also has French too.
Anywho, I love the band Rammestein, I love to drink Radlers, I can read (though not entirely speak) most German, and I love Germany in Hetalia.
GERMANGERMANGERMANGERMAN. xD
Yes, I am a wee bit crazy.

Yes, I love Germany and I love the language. I think it makes more sense than English. I am going to Germany next year- a long way away, cos I live in Australia.

By the way, it is SPRECHEN ont GEsprechen. (gesprechen makes it the past tense) Anyway... I hate it people make those phleghmy sounds when they are impersonating Germans. People, that's a RUSSIAN with a cold.
