Maybe I should just put them all in my random siggy. I really need some non-HP stuff in there, though.
(Maybe I should have, but I wasn't chiding you for being off topic. I was just wondering if you'd seen the three-person pro-choice conversation in the chatterbox thread. Not that I have anything against your having other opinions, of course.)

Oh, actually, I hadn't seen that. >.> Hee. Anyway. The banner sticky is getting totally off subject...
I like the one with Luna and McGonagall, personally. That's like, the perfect picture for "Verbal Quiddich."

My Conscience [Ernie] What image editing program do you have, CoCo? Photoshop 7 ^^ Bah. You suck domokun Actually...nonotreally :BAnd, I'm afraid that, truthfully, the only problem I have with the pro-life opinion is that it imposes its beliefs on others. Unless you're PLP/PCP (pro-life personal, pro-choice political). There are a LOT of people in the Pro-Choice Guild who are like that.

Then I just added some effects to make the Harry Potter picture fit in ^^ Most pro-lifers are pro-morality. I am, but it doesn't factor into my arguement. I just think no matter what faction you are in, you are imposing your beliefs. Isn't that true? ^^

Everyone is for morals. Most pro-choicers are pro-morality. Not really. When you say that you are of the opinion that people can do something (like getting abortion or getting married to someone of the same sex), whether you like it or not, you're not imposing your beliefs. I mean "imposing" by trying to make everyone else follow an individual's or group's morals. Morals are subjective.

What an interesting place for a pro-life vr. pro-choice debate, neh? In the banner sticky of a Harry Potter debate guild.
Anyway, I think that killing a fetus is murder as much as killing a two-day-old baby. Of course people have the freedom of choice, but does that mean that they should go murdering unborn babys.
Say, a murderer made a choice to kill someone. It was his choice, but he's still going to be punished.
*coughcough*
And Pro-morality? Huh, I'm not really sure what that is either. But a guess would be pro-sex after marrage.
I dunno, though. >.>

Abortion is legal, a fetus is not legally defined as a person and there is no evidence to suggest that women getting abortions feel any sort of malice towards the fetuses. And the right to bodily integrity overrules the "right to life" as was ruled in McFall vs. Shimp. No person can use another's body against their will, even if the former would die. Why should fetuses get rights superior to EVERYONE ELSE ON THE PLANET? And why should people go by your morals? You said yourself "I think". Well, maybe I think killing cows for food is murder and it should be illegal. Whoops, there goes your choice to eat meat.

I didn't call you ignorant because you have a different opinion. Stop being a martyr. You are ignorant because you have no idea what you're talking about. Thinking abortion is murder isn't an opinion, it's incorrect. Thinking a fetus is a baby isn't an opinion, it's incorrect. By the FACTS. Baby is a pseudoaccurate term coined by most people. It does not apply to law, which is the real debate in abortion. Morality does not come in, as morals are subjective. Murder is also a legal term. I'm really sorry if I come across as being rude. This is how I debate.

Ernie, to me it's all the same thing. Regardless of what you intended, it is taken as name calling and therefor should be avoided.
On a different note, thanks for making this sticky! I'd meant to, but spaced it. Way to be on top of things xd .
