When Dinin heard the screech-like reaction to his outburst, he was instantly paralyzed for a moment and his entire body went rigid as if he suddenly came down with an insane case of rigamortis. Sometimes having ears with such highly intensified hearing was a curse... A shiver ran the length of his body as the paralyzation slowly faded from Dinin and his body loosened and relaxed to its previous state. He shook his head vigorously and gazed at the person pointing at him, not paying too much attention to what she was saying until he heard "SCARDED".
Dinin's blood-red eyes flashed and he grinned widely, revealing his pearly-white teeth and razor-sharp fangs. He took a moment to examine the girl before him before stating his opinion, "You're very pretty." Dinin's right ear twitched, a sign known only to him and a select few people to mean he was either nervous or embarassed. He didn't know why, but Dinin had never blushed in his entire life; instead, his right ear twitched...

She had purred. And Tanko and Yano had diffently heard it.
Tanko grinned silently, if the others around them weren't quite so observent than he might have winked a bit secretly too. A secret wink, a secret Kira and him shared. It had a nice feeling around that honestly, but instead as usual Tanko kept her secret, not that he'd let the others greedly steal up all her secrets. Yes, he would hog them all to himself. It was decided, so it shall be done. However his grin had slipped off when he could hear Yano behind them, anger flairing as he saw a mild difference in Kira's expression. Though Kira wouldn't be able to tell Tanko was postive that Yano was doing this on purpose for some reason, some reason that probably didn't have a good explanation to it. Still he wouldn't say anything about it, and cause another scene or further dampen the day of the two of them. Tanko peered up into her wonderfully blue eyes with his own dimly greyish aqua mixture and smiled largly once more. No; despite all the bad things happening around them he absoutely wouldn't let her be upset or force smiles in his watch. Or so he so confidentally believed he could manage. So he reached forward and promptly picked her up, streatching out so she was sitting on his knees and lap, and her back turned to him while his hands reached to her hair. "We'll have to see won't we?" he replied, hands deciately and yet very affectionately streaming through her hair and braiding her a bit while he hummed a tune to one of their songs called Knowingly. "I've been terriable without you by the way. One-sided affectionate confessions can only hold me content for so long." he whispered to her ear as he kissed down her neck as he brushed back some more of her hair and then smiled gently once more as he pulled back. "Hey. I'll tell you something good, so you better listen up okay? And no leaving me alone when your off in your thoughts during the bus ride either!" he replied sternly before he leaned against the side window and turned her around, picking her up as if she was well...a cat a bit. "I'll tell you a secret a day during this trip. And for today, among the other things we, the Emo Boyz are hiding; Yano and I are almost related. He's a love child from his biological father from what I know, who married my mum. So step brothers kind of." he said shaking his head slightly as he grinned up at her, "It's messed up right?" he said, his smile on but his eyes did a look a little sad and then once more they shifted again, grinning in their own right. "He has none of my good looks!" he replied as he laughed and stroked Kira's cheek.
Yano's conversation with the mystery woman was going no where fast. Though it did brighten him slightly as she spoke on quietly about old times and told him about her lovely soon-to-be husband. Though the latter only seemed to further his emotions into a downward point as he began to realize that it did seem nice to be able to love someone whole-heartedly without other things coming into affect. A sweet love. Was something Yano had trouble obtaning more than anything else, but it could very well be his luck or just how things had played their cards in his life, or maybe he wasn't trying hard enough. He looked up as Tanko put Kira in his lap and started to be warm and gentle to her. No matter who he was with, Yano probably wouldn't be Tanko in that sence, he loved others differently and that would never change with time. Because he loved through experienced hands and closed eyes, but as long as someone grasped his hand one day then he could love them in his own way. But ah, he was rambling in his head and avoiding numerous things, so he smirked and his ginger-coated voice once more fell into effect. "I'm afraid I have to go, there's a matter of...importance I need to see to. I'll talk to you once more Saki." he said before finishing his goodbyes and hanging up. He had caught the last part of what Tanko said, and forgiving and forgetting and also entering the situation he grasped onto Kira's hand. Kissing it from the finger tips down towards her forearm as he looked up at her, smirk with the energy it usually held. "Ah, you surely can't fully believe that, right princess?" he asked his voice smoother than ever now that it was back into the process, as if it came out sounding better because it wasn't heard perfectly before. The secret that had been reveled, he obviously hadn't heard it or there would be more of a reaction there, because the past was something that really got to him. "Now then, how about breakfast? I have obtained chocolate chip muffin." he perusaded her tastebuds as he pulled it out of the large bag of food that Jun-Jun had made, though most of that was now in Rini's pocession, Yano tended to not eat too much. Or rather he only seemed to be eating baked goods or candy as his fans, who were majority of girls, seemed to throw and surrond him with mounds of the stuff, and it'd be rude to not treat of them as individuals and eat it all. After it had been tested for posion. He took a nibble out of it and pressed it to her lips, smirking as he drew back after having given her the food and handed her the rest of the muffin fairly before laying back and streatching in his seat.
Rini watched curiously as the new people, each different, each having something to the way they entered the room; soon fill up the space of the bus. A bunny girl, who's ears she surely wished to touch as they looked as fluffy as the stuffed animal she had back home. A very good looking boy with her, again nothing in comparsion to Jun-Jun, though she wouldn't admit that at this point. Three very exicted but rather adorable people, all coming in one after the other starting from a female exicted as pie over the bus, a furball of a male, and a chatty girl as well. She wanted to talk to them, but they all looked busy and she didn't want to try and put herself out there, especially when her legs as it was couldn't move from the seat now that Jun-Jun had brushed up against them, though he must have not even noticed. An extremely adorable girl as well came in as well as four more males, a grin falling upon her lips as she watched the scenes all of them portrayed. Still. She was avoiding the male she wanted to talk the most who was next to her, she had already told him she had forgiven him for the kiss. But she still hadn't let her mind forget about it yet either. And still, she turned, quite suddenly when he reached over, tossing something to Kira and Tanko, his bare torso brushing up against her arm as she blushed and looked up at him. Ah. Their eyes met, she looked away after a moment of silence, and sighed faintly a moment later. Things weren't getting anywhere like this. And then. She felt his hand rest atop of hers, her eyes widened and blush increased a bit, and then settled down as she very faintly wrapped a finger or two around his own and smiled a bit as she kept her head turned away from him but contact still fresh.
Jun-Jun wasn't sure if he should apologize. No, he defiently should, but he wasn't seeming to be able to speak currently and his head was filled with disoriented thoughts. Several of which regarding candy that he should make when he could find a stove again. Times like these he wondered why he was able to concentrate on any one thing at all. Still he was tapping his hands a bit edgly on the side of the window as the silence filled the little amount of space between them. Was she doing this on purpose? Making him be alone with thoughts of her while he was with her? It was terriable payback if that was so. His leg...it had brushed against hers and now it was numb, he wasn't sure what he should do about it! Should he pull it back quickly and apologize? Or pretend like he didn't notice? Or would she just slap it away in a second?! He drowned out his thoughts turning to the two men, as always fawning over their individual kitten princess and he frowned. They could be a little more subtle, but they tended to act more childish than he did when they were around her. Ah well, at least their emotions were obvious and straightforward. He pulled out a bag of snacks, one he had made for Kira, there was one for Rini too but he probably wouldn't give that to her and leaned over tossing it to Kira and Tanko. Blushing slightly as he gave her a slight nod and then glanced back down suddenly as he realized that he was pushing against Rini. His blush deepened and while he stared at her silently for a minute they both turned away quickly and then finally giving in to all those thoughts that went around over and over in a wheel inside his head, he simply placed his hand ontop of hers. It was a simple action, that fixed a great deal.
Fay was very naive. But she just wanted to be friendly and as kind as possiable to all that she could manage with. So in the end, it was defiently glad that she had someone like Jarren around her to protect her, even if it wasn't from the Magic Man, just in social situations that arised such as this. She had turned to the guy who spoke to her, and had seemed to catch the intent of his words, he probably could have only made it more obvious though if he had raised his eyebrows at her in a leering manner. She blushed rather quickly, "E-Eh?" she had started but Jarren once more, as always came by and saved her. She watched him through silent eyes, taking in his actions as if she was drinking water, always needing more of Jarren eventually again. She had watched as the others come in though as well, all of them looking rather happy and cheerful, she wished Jarren would be like that all the time too. No. Now that was an outright lie, she prefered his expression, even this mencing one he was sending to the male in front of him, the dead set serious look in his eyes was one she didn't want to see dissapear ever. It fit him more than a thosand smiles by a thosand different people, and she loved it because it expressed him without holding back, she would never want to see it change. "Yes!" she said rather quickly and suddenly, realizing that she had once again caused some irritation towards Jarren, even if it wasn't fully her fault, she looked back up at him and once more away. "I bet your thinking you need to drink something." she mumered, not quite sure if she was speaking to herself or wanted him to hear, but he could obviously do that. She had been able to read his mind just slightly because his feelings had overflowed a bit, it wasn't a lie, but sort of like that thing where lying when you weren't saying anything. "It's okay, I have a solution." she said, a bit quitely but determined to get her point across as she rumaged around and pulled out a small, grape juice box and held it out to him with hopeful eyes that he wouldn't reject the small offering. She smiled a bit nervously as well, ears a bit turned but still perky as she seemed satasifed currently as she turned away once more and rested a bit more against the seat. She felt his wings suddenly brush against her side slightly and she shivered faintly once, managing to not jolt but remained as a still as a statue afterwords, abnormally sitting up straight and fridged but a small smile on her face as she turned and faced the other way. It was bad, but she had temporarily forgotten about Roger, and such a thing was bad because she had just so recently decided that she must surely like him and want to date him. Already she was cheating on her possiably serious feelings with talking to Jarren so much. Then again, Jarren was a friend right? Even if Roger became her boyfriend, Jarren was still protecting her and they almost had a friendship sort of thing so it should be alright...to be distracted by his lovelyness sometimes.
Roger though had come back into the picture as he leaned up from over his seat and placed one of those mad libs things in her lap. She read over it, he filled in the words with no real meaning towards the actual documentation. Like it started off by saying The princess in the tower of Fay had a lovely dream of Fay every night and she dreamed that one day her Fay would come and Date her. The last part made Fay blink slightly, and sure enough she just read over the words that he had filled in and he asked her point-blank "Fay, can I date you?" and at the bottom he had drawn one of those circle yes or no boxes. It was really childish and she almost smiled slightly, well she did, just the tiniest bit, though pink cheeks. She wanted to look up at Jarren, and she had a feeling he might have seen it, she wasn't sure. But if she looked at Jarren she woudln't be able to answer. She already knew that there was still a part of liking him that she was blocking out as best she could. Because it was best for Jarren, not for Fay though...she was certaint what was best for her could only be with her guardian angel. Still she smiled, she did like Roger, she was aware. So feelings could grow stronger and more secure right? Right? She circled the yes part rather quickly and silently and then peered up over the side of the seat as she handed it to him, looking at Roger in the eye and then turning back away quickly, holding her arm a bit as she looked out the window. There was a loud, "Yessss." sound heard and Fay sunk a little more into her seat as she closed her eyes and drifted off to a restless sleep, her body half close enough to touch his wings and half almost leaning away. Fay was doing a favor for Jarren, by not forcing unwanted feelings onto him, she wouldn't be a good girlfriend for him anyway, she was average, he deserved some spectacular, amazing angel.
Tide wasn't in a good mood. Oh-ho~ what a shock. Keh. He had come on this trip because his entire dorm hall was empty and while he would have liked to spend some time alone, in fact he had even brightened at the thought. As usual, Tide's hopes were crushed in some sort of distrcutive bloody battle he was constantly playing with fate trying to get the upper hand. In the end, he was told by one of the people who ran the male dorms and didn't wish to be bothered this weekend that going would be a good chance to improve social skills and keep him from loosing site of the big picture and blah blah blah. Honestly did all adults ramble or just the ones that ran schools? Either way he was entirely too pouty about the whole situation, and wasn't looking forward to coming to a zoo at all. At least though, he had his hanami dango in the hand that wasn't carying his bag as he stepped aboard. He was frowning and glaring slightly and then without even stepping another step he suddenly fell down. Or worse yet, was tripped. By what the though? Honk. He just heard the bus honk at him, and he suddenly thought that he felt eyes upon him, the feeling was all around too disturbing and then top it off the fifteen year old heard the bus talking, ah now it all made sence. No wait. "No frowns allowed kid. I don't need you trippin' my mood." he replied and Tide wanted to then ask what generation it was that the bus happened to be from but stood up instead, only not lashing out his very strong anger because he hadn't dropped his food treat, now eating the top pink dumpling and then picking up his bag and walking further in. It was crazy inside, too many people and all of them looking like a bunch of hyped up coke addicts trying to fit all their hormones into one tight little compartment. He glanced over at two females sitting next to each other and realized that they too, were not a great deal different. From the conversation he had caught, it was mostly on part of the talkative girl, his eyes fell onto the other one now. And for a second his heart thudded. Then he coughed, ah~ he must just have a slight cold. Still, his mood was always irritated and just being tripped wasn't helping things and now he was watching this girl hit on a poor inoccent one. With a really cute face. They were both cute really, but he kind of liked the sweet blue eyes the other one had, perhaps rather that she seemed less likely to suddenly lash out on him. And so he set down his bag and treat on an empty seat and then walked over to them, reaching over and promptly picking up the girl called Amelia as she weighed nothing hardly at all, and ignored the mild sensation of her soft hair brushing against him. Instead he sent a glare towards the female sitting down, "*****> he called, even though she was younger than the one in his arms, she acted more like a ***** than anyone else he had seen before. So he set the girl he had picked up and set down in a chair next to him, though he was really just sitting her down anywhere and then slunk into his seat as he took another bite of a dumpling with that sulky expression as he glanced out the window. "Damn field trips." he said with a sigh.

Amelia screamed as she was lifted. Was this legal?! Could he do this?! He smelled weird. She'd never smelled a teenage boy before. She couldn't even remember him coming over. All she remembered was being lifted. This school was weird. She glanced over at Wendy, who was staring in anger, her mouth agape. The brunette furrowed her brow, but her expression softened as her head snapped to the side at the sound of a familiar voice. "KAAAAASSY~!" She exclaimed, jumping up and rushing away from the boy who had taken her pick-up attempt.
Amelia blinked as she watched Wendy leave, saying "JE M'APPELLE WENDY" with a frustrated face. So, that was it?
No. Of course not. Now she was sitting next to this boy.
This boy that she didn't know whatsoever. Is this what teenage life was like? Maybe it was best to be sheltered. But he didn't seem very excited. Or happy, even. She tapped him lightly on the shoulder and smiled, trying to lighten his mood. Maybe he could be her friend too.
Or... well... Amelia wasn't quite sure of what she was thinking, considering this was the first time she had been around a boy her age. Maybe it was human instinct to think that maybe there was a possibility that girls and guys should be more than that. She blushed lightly when she realized what she was thinking about.
That was crazy. She didn't even know his name. Yet.
"Considering you just kidnapped me, shouldn't you tell me your name?" She asked with a smirk-like smile and a raised eyebrow. She figured that she'd best get over the shy thing. It may be cute but she really wanted to make some friends. "I'm Amelia."
Clinging to her best friend tightly, Wendy grinned. Yaaay~ H!P buddy~! But then she heard something and her smile dropped. Her light blue eyes darkened slightly as she glanced at the boy who had scared her earlier. Did he just... compliment Kassy?
Was he trying to HIT ON KASSY?
"YOU!" Wendy screamed, pointing at him in an equally dramatic way as Kassy had, "ARE YOU HITTING ON MY BEST FRIEND FOREVER AND EVER AND ETERNITY?" She turned to Kassy. "IS HE HITTING ON YOU!? KASSSSYYYYYYY NOOOOOOO STOP IT." She whined, stomping her feet. If people had thought Kassy was immature, they hadn't seen anything yet. Being younger and shorter, Wendy could be pretty equal to Kassy. "Look I even got you a present..." She mumbled, digging through her bag and pulling out her 3 Miyabi photocards. "YAAAAAAAY MIYABI~" She said, waving her arms a bit.
((Ahahahahaha good times amirite guys))

When Rhaine heard her reply he smiled warmly, nodding to her as laughing lightly, about to move but shot back a bit when the other elf dashed into his face. He sensed a large amount of anger and energy from this one, unlike the female who seemed much more relaxed and quiet. More his pace. But he noticed something, when he retreated it must have been for some reason, though he couldn't tell why. Perhaps that woman had done something...? No matter, he had backed off, that's all that was important. Wait, he was her brother? But when the whole situation was over with he heard her speak again, her laughed, shaking his head sadly. He forgot to tell her his name? Good job, already messed up... But no time like the present! Moving the hair from his face he bowed to her once. "Ah! my apologies, the name's Rhaine. I'm assuming you're an elf, as well as your brother right? Unless my senses are off! Heh." He smiled warmly, observing them both before taking a seat beside her, arms crossing as well as his legs, a smile still on his face as he chuckled softly. "Heh, nice to meet you Arianna. And you to Darran!" He leaned over a bit, waving to him before looking back to Arianna with a smirk. "So, you two are siblings huh? Lucky, I would've liked to have siblings..." He smiled again, looking down a bit, shadows over his eyes a bit as he hid his feelings again. A moment later he just laughed it off. These two were odd, but nice. Her brother scared him a bit though, burn him to a crisp? Rhaine didn't like fire to much... It reminded him of his childhood, something he'd rather forget. Arianna was clearly a nice person though, you just had to talk to her a bit, get her to speak. But he did have an advantage over most, he could see what people really were, who they really were. As for her brother, it seems he'll let you know how he feels. He had a fiery spirit, but he too was a good person. "So, are you looking forward to this trip? I'm new here, so I don't know many people. Thanks for letting me hang out with you, I won't cause you any trouble, I just want to have fun. Even so, I hope you'll enjoy yourself. There aren't a lot of other elves here, so I figured you'd be the best to hang out with. Looks like I was right!" He nodded to her, looking to her brother again, shaking his head lightly before looking back to Arianna with a happy smile. Did she know he was blind? It was fairly obvious. Even so, he hoped it wouldn't interfere with things too much, after all, he didn't discriminate. Hopefully she wouldn't either. But better to get it over with anyhow... He smiled warmly, turning his face to hers as he spoke. "I hate to bring this up out of nowhere, but I'm assuming someone sharp like you has noticed my white eyes?" He nodded to her, laughing a bit. "They're white because I'm blind. So sorry if I don't notice any body language like head nodding and stuff like that. I do hope it doesn't bother you to much, it can be a bit bothersome but I've learned to live with it. Heh, anyhow. I'm not totally blind. I can see auras... So it isn't that bad... I mean I can tell people apart, it's just when things get crowded I can't tell all of the auras apart. Think of it like I can see the silhouette of people, and then fill them in with a rainbow of colours. And the colours represent their emotions, and anything else. Get it?" He smiled, nodding a bit, hoping she understood him. It was a bit much to take in but she seemed like a bright girl. And from what he could tell, she had a good heart too.

Kira couldn't help worrying a little over what Yano was saying on the phone, and who he was talking to. It confused her. He'd kissed her and then started flirting with someone else? What about the wring? What about... everything? And Jun-Jun and Rini were worrying her too. They were just sort of sitting over there in dead silence. This wasn't good. Was she the cause of that as well? How much damage did she intend to do before she was done? Her thoughts continued in a downward spiral, until she felt Tanko suddenly lift her up. She blinked, looking dazed and confused, sort of limply allowing herself to be shifted into his lap, where she then realized what was happening and blushed deeply, peering up at his face. "Y-yeah, I guess so," she replied quietly. But the touch of his fingers that followed, trailing through her hair like that, accompanied by the soft hum of his voice, was amazlingly soothing. Still, she was glad that he didn't continue for too long, because as he knew, she would start purring. And she wanted to keep the number of poeple who knew that as small as possible. Right now, it was possible he was the only one. Her shoulders had slouched, and her eyes had fallen half closed, but she still stole a peek at what he was doing. She smiled almost sleepily at the result. "You're pretty good, it seems.." she said quietly. But then his next words sent a pang of guilt through her, followed by a shiver as his lips traveled along her neck. They were in public... She breathed out a soft sigh, trying to regain her composure even as her cheeks flushed pink. She wanted to apologize, for leaving him with a one sided state, for not returning anything, but she didn't. She wasn't sure if she was allowed to, as she didn't know what she wanted to do about everything that was going on.
She ended up staying silent, until he grew more serious and she found herself turned to face him. Again, she simply let him move her around, and stared at him through slightly widened eyes as he revealed the first secret of the trip. She blinked, then glanced hesitantly towards Yano, jumping as she realized he'd popped up beside them, phone set aside. He was related to Tanko? A.. love child? If she'd had her ears, they would've been drooping. Love child... It was hard for her to imagine. She bowed her head lightly, until she felt something pressing against her lips, something that smelled very lovely. So she blinked and refocused, staring up at him as she realized it was a muffin. A chocolate, chocolate chip muffin. Her favorite. Lucky guess? Maybe. Perhaps he'd based it off her choice of chocolate chip pancakes when they'd been in France. Either way, she smiled lightly at him and started nibbling at it, uttering a happy "thank you" as she did. And then she'd seen something tossed towards her, and reached her free hand out to catch it. Jun-Jun had thrown a bag of food to her. She gave him a warm smile in return and then sat there to contentedly eat. But after a pause, she looked up at Tanko suddenly, as if she'd just remembered something. "O-oh, I'll listen up!" she assured him, a greatly delayed response. "I won't neglect you for my thoughts either, promise!" She would've looked extremely earnest, if not for the muffin crumbs stuck beside her lip. Jarren had been glaring at the back of Micheal's head for quite a long time, until Fay had seemingly read his mind. He turned to stare at her with a look of brief surprise, head tilted just the slightest bit as he watched her. How had she known? He'd only drank once since meeting her. Sure, he wished for it quite often, or rather, only during times when Roger was with them, but how had she known? Either way, when she held out the juicebox, he realized something else. He liked her. He wasn't sure to what extent, but he did. He liked her a lot. He wasn't sure he'd ever been so fond of someone before. He didn't mind spending time with her, and he hated sharing her with anyone else, especially stupid little demon brats. And so, when she offered the drink, he smiled softly at her and took it with one hand. His other, however, reached past and settled on the top of her head, ruffling her hand fondly, and when he pulled back, his fingers traced along one of her ears. Perhaps he was jealous that the brat got to touch her so often, but maybe he'd simply wished to for himself, with no prompting by jealousy to do so. He wanted to keep her for himself. She was his to guard and.. his to keep? Things didn't really work that way, did they.
But because these type of thoughts were swirling around his head, that made it all the more difficult to read what Fay had been given. He had. He couldn't help it, and he'd stolen a glance. That glance had turned to a look, which had advanced to a stare. Then he'd read it, and instant fury reentered him. He turned away, listening then. He didn't want to see Fay's reply. He didn't want to know. He wanted to keep fooling himself. But the stupid, infuriating brat hissed out his infuriating answer, and Jarren suddenly hissed out a noise of his own. However, his was a curse, not a celebration. He'd breathed a curse through his teeth. Yes, he was an angel, but he already showed that he wasn't quite up to the standard humans tended to protray them at. And currently, he was pissed off. Not only did he have to spend a supposed vacation with the stupid demon brat, but now he had to spend it with a stupid demon brat who was dating Fay. This was possibly more than he could stand. And so he'd sat there, slightly slouched in his seat, mumbling a string of curses under his breath as he stared determinedly away from the two of them, refusing to look in their direction. For this time, the brat might really get that punch in the face he so greatly wished to deliver. Micheal wasn't getting what he wanted. So far he'd been laughed at, threatened, and ignored. But he had decided that it was simply their location. How was he expected to work while in such a restricted atmosphere? He had no room to work. So he'd striaghtened himself up, sitting with his posture and look that just bled cockiness. He adjusted his shades, peering over the top to gaze around at the ladies on the bus. There were a few candidates, and more just kept arriving. He disregarded the guys of course, but some of the girls here were pretty hot. They were probably dying for a real man, so he'd have to give them what they wanted. So he picked out a few targets for himself and sat back with a rather satisfied smirk, arms folded. Arianna watched the elf with interest, head cocked gently to one side, grey eyes peering right up into his white ones. "It is nice to meet you, Rhaine..." she murmured quietly. Darran was sulking a little beside her, staring out the window, but he grunted a small "mmph" in reply as well. He was listening, he just wasn't happy about it. The two had entered human society together, and were protective of each other. So when someone tried to invade their two person peace, Darran got offensive. But right now, he was kept subdued by the threat of being knocked out during the zoo trip. He was determined to see it through and see all the animals the place contained. He refused to miss even a single one, and he wasn't going to let this guy ruin his plans.
Arianna knew Rhaine had no intention of messing anything up, nor did he intend to hurt them, and so she felt just as at ease as before he'd arrived. She maintained her gentle smile as she peered up at him. "Having a sibling can be a bit of a chore," she said softly, to which Darran snorted indignantly. She smiled at him and continued in her faint voice. "I shall speak for but of us and say that we don't mind your company." Darran muttered something again, but it went ignored. Arianna was busy finding herself surprised that he spoke so openly about his blindness, explaining it in detail. He didn't want to keep it secret? At all? She blinked, peering up at him, before her smile returned and she nodded her head in understanding. "That's alright. It's... incentive for me to speak. People often make the assumptain that I myself am mute, so perhaps this will set people straight." She let out a soft string of laughter and gently extended her hand towards him. "Please, take a seat..."

Rhaine only smiled and nodded to her, laughing a bit whenever her brother spoke. He made him laugh, he was a funny guy, always chirping in but he seemed to be afraid of his sister... Was she that scary...? Perhaps she had something he wasn't aware of? Oh well! Heh, as long as it made him a little more quiet and manageable it was okay with Rhaine! "People assume you are a mute? Heh, if only it were the same case for me... I love talking! And laughing, it makes me feel happy and better. Maybe you should try it too? You sound a bit... More quiet than most. But it doesn't mater to me, I'm fine with whatever you choose to do, talk or not, it's up to you... But! It will make my life much easier if you speak!" He laughed again, joking around a bit as he shuffled in his seat, looking over to her brother again. "So... He's a bother? He seems like a bundle of energy, but a nice guy. Don't you agree? And I'm glad you two don't mind me coming along. It makes m feel very happy. To have some new friends..." He smirked, looking to the others on the bus. They all seemed like they had such deep pasts, such history and interesting lives. Who knew what all of these other people had gone through, some might've had even worse lives then himself. Even so, he'd try and keep cheerful this whole trip. No reason to not enjoy a zoo right? He chuckled, sighing softly before clapping his hands together. "So it's settled eh? We're going to have lots of fun this trip! Whether or not your brother wants me to, I'll help him realize I can be a fun guy! You two will both see, we'll have a great time!" Looking to Arianna he nodded again, waving to her and laughing again before crossing his arms, closing his eyes as he thought to himself silently. Shaking his foot a bit as he pondered, how would he get along with these two? What was the best way to have them like him more? her brother would be a challenge...

Seemingly alone and bored, Keila was beginning to get sleepy. She had been on this bus for an hour! Why hadn't it left yeeeeet~? This is what happened when Keila came early. Well that was it! No more! Keila will now forever be late. Forever and ever. Coming early always made her bored, there were no people, and when the people finally did came they didn't talk to her. Pssh. This is wasn't fun. WELL, SHE'D MAKE IT FUN. Eventually... "Too sleepy." Her eyes fluttering with the sudden wash of exaustion. Keila was practically four years old. She hadn't slept at all the night before because she was anticipating the trip, only to get here and wait an hour (and counting) for nothing to happen. Leaning forward, Keila placed her chin on the chair in front of her, and her hands inbetween her legs. She wasnt really sure what she was doing. But hey, now her hands were warm and her chin very well supported.
"OKAY" she exclaimed at no one, still in her odd position. "SOMEONE ENTERTAIN ME" No one was listening. Awwww, this was sad. Why did no one listen? NO ONE LIKES ME She would not fall asleep. NOOO~ Not like she could anyways, people were screaming and running around the bus like wild animals. ...why wasnt she screaming and running around? Oh wait, Keila didn't run. Mmm, but there had to be something to entertain her.
Having nothing else to do, Keila watched as more and more people boarded the bus. They all looked sad. What was up with that? MAYBE IF SHE SMILED AT THEM THEY'D SMILE BACK? Unfortuntely, when Keila gave her big toothy smile to each gloomy person, they just stared back. "Awwww...."
Closing her eyes in a sudden dismay, she felt something press up against her face. It wasnt like someone just shoved something in her face, but there was something defiently touching her.
Pulling up ridiculously fast and dramatic, her teeth consquentially scraped against whatever had just been on her face. In mere seconds, Keila spazzed, pawing at her face and shouting muffled "gross" and "ew"s. GODDD, WHAT IN THE WORLD WAS THAT
Still pawing at her face, Keila looked up for a second. There was a head above whatever was touching her face and then she scraped her teeth against.
"Heeeeey~" MAYBE IT WAS A NEW FRIEND? She poked her head over whosever shoulder it was a smiled. "HI." Keila was...slightly lame. She didn't really know her place and just did whatever she wanted. This was one of those moments. ...she was seriously four.

Arianna watched him as he spoke. Or, she tried to. She wasn't used to people speaking to her, and she found her eyes wandering as she listened. But she was listening, and that's what mattered, right? She peered at her sulking brother, and around the bus at some overexcited passengers, watching their interactions. In truth, she found it troublesome to speak. Usually she could get away with a nod or a wave of her hand, or some other gesture, and people would gather what she meant. And usually, conversations never lasted more than five minutes because of her tendency to do this. So now as she listened to him rambling on, she knew she'd have to reply again, and part of her didn't want to. But if he intended to join them during the trip, she shouldn't turn him away without any good reason.
So, she took a breath and spoke again, this time while staring out the window. "Yes, I will always love my brother..." she said softly, to which Darran mumbled something and huffed, turning away in embarrassment. Arianna ignored it. As to Rhaines suggestion that she laugh to feel better... What made him think her quietness was a result of negative feelings? It wasn't. It was simply a preference. And so, she ignored that comment entirely.
Darran snorted, staring up at him now, mis-matched eyes narrowed. "Tch, yeah right. The only thing I'll realize is how much I wish you weren't here," he mumbled moodily. He unfolded his arms, and began tinkering with the cross he wore on a long chain about his neck, fingers fidgeting with it lightly.

Nerium Oleander might have been your typical, everyday teenager. She might have been human, might have attained some sense of normalcy...if only she wasn't - wasn't so different, so strange and utterly deprived of human instinct, so extremely odd and completely ostracized as a result of powers that she'd had from birth. Decked out in a comfortable, well-fitting pair of dark blue jeans and a grey hooded sweatshirt with a loud, colourful design on it, she shuffled along in her men's skate shoes, scuffing the sidewalk ruefully. Should she even be going on this trip? She wanted to make new friends, but she knew absolutely no one... Was it fair to expect to make friends in the first few days? And then the loneliness welled up inside her like an ocean wave, cresting and breaking the shoreline in her soul, breaking her to pieces...and the ocean retreats, leaving her to slowly pull the pieces back together. Leaving behind in its wake the jaded, broken cynic she'd never wanted to be.
Her sculpted eyebrows raised slightly in a perpetually suspicious expression, Ollie strolled toward the jolly-looking bus, not even taking a second look when it winked at her; the tingle in her fingers told her before she'd come close that this bus would never be described as ordinary. A tiny smile ghosted across her lips, gone as soon as it had come, and she climbed nimbly up the stairs to the bus, stepping lightly, carefully. Her fingertips brushed the top of one seat gently as she reached the top of the stairs and peered around, her quick gaze flickering over the bus's occupants. She spied the seat she wanted and stalked down the aisle toward a young man who looked to be asleep: Hopefully he's not a talker, she thought bitterly, before mentally chastising herself, trying to remember to be courteous. She had to get used to being her normal self, instead of the jaded cynic who'd manipulated her body and mind during those tough school years, when she was the witch, the dark, forbidden child with no friends and nowhere to sit at lunch. The tips of her fingers sparked with anticipation and glowed pale blue-grey. Ollie forced herself to concentrate, focusing on something - anything else - and the glow faded from her fingertips. She breathed a sigh of relief and stopped next to the seat where the sleeping boy sat.
Ollie paused for a second, wondering if he'd mind if she sat there. After all, some people were probably awaiting the arrival of friends, with whom they were traveling, right? She frowned and bit her lip in contemplation. Should she wake him up and ask? Or should she sit down? Or just find somewhere else to sit? She shifted from foot to foot, her golden ochre eyes distant and lonely.

Michael knocked on the door of the bus.
It opened in a late reaction. "Come Tobie," he said to his fat black cat. He nodded to people as he passed by and found a seat near the middle of the bus. All to himself. Tobie jumped up to get on when the door shut on her stomach. She screamed and hissed, swatting at the door. It let her go when she sank her teeth into it. The cat gracefully walked to her owner. Her extra weight swaying under her, cute in a way. Michael picked her from the floor and set her in his lap. "You okay?" the elf asked with a smile. Tobie purred under his touch and looked to her owner. "Yes I'm fine, just a little embarrassed is all," she said shifting to a more comfortable position. Michael smiled and continued to pet tobie as he looked out his window. He'd ever been to the zoo before, but he loved animals. This could also be another way to meet people and socialize. Either way, it would be an interesting trip. He hadn't packed food or clothes or anything for that matter. He could will the earth to get those things for him. Tobie, however, needed her treats and her blanket. She was a spoiled cat. She was purring like crazy as she lay in his lap. "Will I get to eat a lot of treats if I'm good?" She asked with a devilish grin. Michael shook his head, "NO. Two a day now. You have to watch your weight," he said with a small laugh. He shifted in his seat to be more comfortable. "Dang, hey wait are you saying I'm FAT!!! She exclaimed. Michael laughed and then with a serious face looked at his cat and replied, "Yes." He laughed again only to be silenced by tobie's nails digging into his leg. She stuck her tongue out and faced away from him. "I'm only kidding," he said chuckling to himself. Tobie didn't reply. Instead, she closed hereyes and ignored him.

Kassy, attempting to keep her laughing quiet, let out a sort of squeak. It was something similar to a snort but obviously more mouse like than a pig. Wendy was clumsily rushing towards Kassy screaming out one of her signature phrases. Should Kassy be scared? Well she slightly was, but it was Wendy and..she always did that. Actually Kassy always did stuff like that too. Ya know, running towards people screaming and flailing out of excitement. Aaaah Wendy was funny~
Feeling Wendy suddenly attach herself to Kassy's shirt, Kassy let out a slight yell. She shifted backwards slightly, having to replace her footing to keep from toppling over. "AW WENDY" Kassy's face beamed with happiness as she in turn clinged to Wendy. YAY BEST FRIENDS FOREVER AND EVER AND ETERNITY~
Just as Kassy and Wendy were getting in to their quality BFFAEAE time, Wendy stopped. What was she doing? WHO WAS SHE YELLING AT?
Following Wendy's dramatic finger, her eyes set upon that boy from before, with the fluffy cat ears. Awww fluffy cats-WAIT FOCUS. Wendy was yelling, THIS WAS SERIOUS. "WENDY WHAT ARE YOU-" Wendy was looking at her now, with those huge desperate eyes. "AH WHY ARE YOU LOOKING AT ME LIKE THAT" Something about that fluffy cat ear boy hitting on Kassy? WHEN WAS THAT? "WAIT HOLD THE PHONEEE~" Okay Kassy had to think seriously now. UUMM... Kassy should listen more...or just process what she heard. She had this way of listening to what a person had said, not understood it because she wasn't listening or it was mumbled, and then a minute later or so be able to unscramble what they said and understand it. Was that a common thing to do? Anyways, she had to do that now.
PROCESSING, SHE WAS PROCESSING. UH UH FLUFFY CAT EARS SAID SOMETHING AFTER KASSY WAS ALL DRAMATIC. Something ab-.....SHE WAS PRETTY? IS THAT WHAT HE SAID? That would definitely explain why Wendy was freaking out.
"OH UH.....THANKS...FLUFFY-CAT-EAR-BOY." Yeah that was his name now. Kassy was horrible at accepting compliments, if she just agreed right away and all like "oh yes inorite" then she would be extremely cocky, but she couldn't just not say thank you or that would be all emo and denying it and crap and people don't like when you deny their compliments. So uh, that's what she would say: awkward thank yous. HOPEFULLY HE DIDN'T THINK KASSY AND WENDY WERE RUDE. THEY WEREN'T...NOT REALLY. THEY WERE JUST...THEM. She gave an awkward smile, still looking down at Wendy who was bouncing around ecstatically. "...PRESENT-OMG SUP MIYA"

Noll looked at the girl who sat next to her. He knew he looked asleep. He wasn't. He was at least 95% sure he wasn't asleep. He moved his staff aside so the girl had more room and sat up, blinked a few times to stretch his eyelids and then spoke to the girl: "Hello." His smooth irish accent rolled out of his mouth. It wasn't the kind of voice you'd expect from a guy who looked like him, but he had a deep, smooth Irish voice. He pushed his glasses up with his middle finger and his face slipped into a pleasant, half awake smile. Okay, maybe he was asleep.
His gold eyes flickered slightly, and his staff seemed to regain a bit of shimmer around the polished, carved top and the wood looked almost healthier. His tree was back from it's nap. "Good morning" He had never had the tree speak to him with other people around. At least, not so close. He had talked on crowded buses and on streets and things, but never when he had company. He wondered whether she could hear?
So he waited for a reaction. He wasn't very good at dealing with people. At least, he didn't think he was. He was too nice, in his own opinion. So he just stared at this girl who was sitting next to him, waiting for her to say something.
((you can decide whether Ollie hears the tree or not <3))

[[[K 8D]]]
Oleander, the poisonous flower, sat dressed in blue jeans and a sweatshirt, next to a boy she'd never before seen. He had green hair, but she couldn't tell what colour his eyes were. She had a thing for eyes. Her own coppery-gold hues stared distantly off to the side, vacant and empty, her thoughts somewhere far away. She heard something and blinked, once, twice, before she came back from her mental vacation and returned to the present time. Turning her head slightly, she looked sideways at the young man beside her and lost herself in his eyes for a billionth of a second, her own eyes wide and curious. Golden yellow, like a cat or a wolf or the sun, or a very wealthy person's home. She dropped her eyes to the hands curled together in her lap and smiled, tight and fake. She knew she probably looked like a child, with her short stature, big eyes, and casual style of dress. For all she knew, she looked like this boy's little sister, or something ridiculous. She couldn't bring herself to look up again. Meeting new people, while definitely something she'd wanted, was a lot harder to actually do.
So instead of being polite and kind, the way she wished she could, the only thing she said was "Yeah, whatever. I'm on this trip because I have to be. They told me that new students should go. Not that you care." She pulled her skinny knees, encased in worn dark denim, to her chest and hugged them, turning her face away and praying under her breath that she wouldn't cry on a bus of strangers. But maybe in front of strangers would have been better than in front of people she'd known from previous schools. The bullies and the saints - all of them had turned their backs on her, because she was different. The cynic had emerged.
But then Ollie heard something. A small, musical voice greeted her, completely different from the deep accented tones of the boy next to her. But it came from the same direction. She turned her head slowly, and her eyes, shimmering with damp that she refused to believe threatened tears, fell on a piece of beautifully carved wood that she'd completely missed. She almost reached out to touch it, but she feared it might sense her magic. Pale grey sparks half-formed at the tips of her matching pale fingers faded when she clenched her hands together.
Ollie swallowed hard, twice, but still the words wouldn't come out like they were supposed to. "H-h-hi..." she finally managed, her voice a barely-audible squeak. She knew that she couldn't let him find out what she was. He'd probably treat her like all the rest.
But she couldn't help being drawn to his obvious eccentricity. The odd staff, which she knew had to have some kind of magical or special property, was intriguing, as were his golden wolf eyes and his pale green hair. She wondered if he was, possibly, like her. Maybe she'd finally found - What? What is it I've been searching for? A kindred spirit? Someone who understands?
No.
A friend.

Noll was at first taken aback by this girl's words. Teenage angst, perhaps? He blinked a few times and then swayed slightly from side to side, like he was a tree standing in the wind. His eyes stayed fixated on the girl, though. Her eyes, the same colour as his, had been fixated on his for a fraction of a second. She seemed anxious, maybe. Nervous about something. But who was he to judge?
He brushed his hand through his messy forest green hair and pushed his glasses up again. And then blinked at the girl's second attempt at socialization. H-had she heard the tree? This was kind of exciting. Someone else who the tree could socialize with, as far as he knew. He did know the tree, who's name was 'Fuinseog*' was young, only about 120 years. Trees, by nature, can only produce one living sprite every 100 years. So for another 80 years, he was all the tree had. But now there was someone else. Good. He didn't want Fuinseog to be lonely.
He smiled. "I'm Nollaig. What's your name?" he smiled. He was proud of his name. 'Nollaig.' 'Christmas.' It made sense, seeing as though he was discovered at the base of Fuinseog on Christmas day. He nodded, agreeing with his thoughts, and then waited for the girl to answer. This might be a little too much for the girl to absorb.
((* Fuinseog means 'ash tree' in gaelic. I liked it better than the word for oak and tree, so I picked it xD))

Nerium Oleander knew that underneath the cynical mask she wore in public, there lived a shy, solemn girl who just didn't know what else to do. But it was the mission of the cynic to make sure that no one else found out. And then, things changed, and she felt magic from an odd piece of wood that talked. It had greeted her, and she'd felt the pulse of its strange magic. She was tempted to reach out and touch it, but she restrained herself, instead wrapping her arms tighter around her knees and intertwining her fingers fiercely. Her already pale, slightly greyish knuckles turned white.
And then the boy told her his name, and her ghost-thin fingers flew to his mouth in an attempt to stop the letters from coming out. Her orangey-gold eyes, wide, snapped to his instantly, and she took in a tiny breath, her mouth forming an almost invisible 'o'. "Y-y-your...your name?" she gasped, her voice small. In her experience, she wasn't to give anyone her real name. "That's your full name??" Invoking the full name of a fey, as far as she knew, would give another fey complete control over them. Not that she would ever do that...but still. Then she realized that she had a hand over his mouth, trembling slightly, and blushed, her eyes still wide, staring into his golden hues curiously. "S-sorry," she mumbled, retrieving her hand and clutching it in the other until her fingers turned white again.
She dissected his smile and found nothing dangerous, nothing presumptuous or cruel. So she leaned over conspiratorially to whisper, "My name is Ollie, but not really." She realized that it hadn't really made sense, but she only averted her eyes and frowned, her brow creasing.
She liked his smile. It was warm and inviting and everything a smile should be but usually wasn't. She smiled softly to herself but she knew she could never produce the same emotion.
