I wrote this one today during informatique. It's probably not my best, but I felt I needed to write something. My ryming is terrible, since most of my poems are free verse.

Fallen angels lose their wings
My own dirge, for me she sings
The haunting voice stays in my mind
Death at my own hands I find.

Your fading eyes locked inside mine
To achieve this death we long to hide
Your darkness has been holding me
My broken dreams, they welcome thee

Your hands are cold, your mind so numb
I've tried to warm you, beckon you come
Twisted logic envelopes us
Unwinding all we've come to trust

The black embrace that death ensues
We only ever get reproof
A ribbon tied around my neck
This is no meaning in this regret

Perhaps we'll meet in someother life
There, we might not see such strife
I'll miss you, darling, prepare the rope
We must part now, there is no hope

Define

Deciever
A falsifier of truth,
Who teaches lies
But hides what's true.
Dishonest and false,
Lets poison spread,
Feeds the deadly fire.
He doesn't show faith,
For he knows that fate
May also be your doom.

Treacherous
One who cannot be trusted,
Double-sided or cunning...
Defined as disloyal,
But is thrust in deeper.
Born with it,
Or slowly intoxicated,
Will "do what it takes"
Trust at your risk.

Betrayal
The end or the start,
The push off the edge
Or pierce through the skin.
Black venom pumped through veins
To introduce an evil reign,
To decieve those who trust
Meet his goal the Traitor must,
Whether purposefully or not,
He will cause pain.

Note:Ok,I went over the edge with the last few lines...I got excited because I found words that rhyme blaugh .

Those who live forever
Always wish to die
For living life forever
Is like living just a lie

All the tears you wept
Were not tears at all
And all the fears you felt
Will always make you fall

The only way to live life
Is to live it with an end
For with every life that's taken
A newer one begins.

Mrs. Hagiri
Those who live forever
Always wish to die
For living life forever
Is like living just a lie

All the tears you wept
Were not tears at all
And all the fears you felt
Will always make you fall

The only way to live life
Is to live it with an end
For with every life that's taken
A newer one begins.
I like it.It has a nice beat to it,like one of those little songs from the Lord of the Rings books. The first verse/whatever you call the first four lines and last were the best,by far,as they're to the point and have an emotional feel.

Just because I'm Different

Just because I'm different
You think it doesn't matter
Just because I'm "different"
You just don't seem to care

Well, I could say you're different,
And that would be so true
And it really doesn't matter
That right now I'm hating you

Because everything is different,
The night and day, the sun and rain,
But we really hate eachother
Because of how we are the same.

I live for myself and nobody else
To die to protect will cause much more pain.
How would you feel if you knew that a friend
Had given their life for you to be safe?
I know that I could not live with myself.
Their death would haunt me 'till the day I died.
I would most likely put blame on myself,
And if I looked happy I would have lied.
If you live your life with no attatchments
Then that kind of pain will never occour.
You'll live your live as it was truly meant
With nothing to get in your way, It's pure.
To live your life as life was ment to be,
Then will you truly be able to see.

Meh. There's my poem.

ErabuKassatsu
Suicide

Suicide is the key to ignorance in or world
It?s the base of which we swim in sorrow
In grief, and in all mannerism the fate to play God
We kneel, we crawl, we plead and beg for forgiveness
But when it seems that the almighty Lord himself has turned away
We plunge the knife deeper into our greedy decaying hearts
Unable to bear this gift that was cast upon us called life
Cowards we are, forever will be, unable to bring ourselves
Into the courage of bravery that prolongs our health

-Kass
I love that Kass! You really protray how foolish humans can be with killing themselves

Thank you very much. I'm even happier you read it before judging it by title, which so many before you have done. Makes happy to know there are some smart people in this world. ^_^

"Writer's Block"
Writer's block is such a pain
In everyway it drives me insane
When i try to write one little rhyme
It feels like just a waste of my time
Every line won't ever shine
I feel ashamed to call it mine
Writer's block is not a sign
It's that kind of pain the corrups your mind

Death lake

I saw you that night when you went to the lake. That night was dark, no moon shone high in the sky. But I followed you for I could see that you had that clouded look within your eye. The look that the sadness within has taken you, it has eluded your spirt and soul and that now it is the time. The time that you have decided to leave forever. I watched you over dinner and saw that you ate nothing that you stared into the fire and looked back over your shoulders at the lake, the purple murky lake that you brood about in your sleep. I've seen you dream about it these last months as I watched you slip between my fingers. But now I know that what I did was wrong that if you believe it is time, then it is. So that night over dinner I didn't speak a word, for I knew you wouldn't hear me I knew that it would only break my heart more to see that you didn't understand my voice. So I watched and listened to you breath saw your eyes calculate the way it was to end. I never gave a sob but only cried my silent tears. They were bitter with regret for what we never were to do, you looked once at my tear streaked face and I saw a smile play upon yours. I knew that you had made up your mind that it was the end, but you were happy to see that you wouldn't leave this world with me angry at you only sad which was okay, because I was suppose to be sad. I smiled back to tell you that yes I was okay though I was woeful that you felt this way. You looked back at the lake then at the fire that had turned to coals.

I let you go ahead, while I cleared away the dishes I didn't want to stop you, for if I was there when you prepared for it I wouldn't let you leave. So later I followed watched your shadow like shape slip between the trees towards the dock. I knew that's where you wanted to leave this world for that was where we had been joined together. You had made sure that I still had my ring and that you had yours. We would be connected that way even though I was doomed to never see your ring upon your hand again. I followed slowly knowing that right now you were taking the rope out of your pocket, that you were searching the dark for where you had left the bricks. I stopped crying as I neared the dock knowing you were about to leave and that I had to see you leave it was the only way I'd be able to live with myself after you had gone. I saw you shuffle to the end of the dock, the waves lapping quietly against the shore waving you a sad goodbye. You turned around, your back to the lake, then that's when you saw me leaning against the tree you used to climb. I saw you hesitate thinking about what you were about to do. You looked at me seemingly asking me if it really was okay. I waved goodbye to you that night I blew a kiss for I knew that if I touched you that I'd pull you away and pull you back to me. You blew a kiss back and then you jumped. That lake swallowed you up, and as soon as you had jumped I ran upon the dock yelling your name. Asking you to come back that what you were doing was stupid, but all along I knew what you had done was right for you, not me but I'd live I'd move on later I would resist the sadness. No more tears came that night from me, there was no need I was to sad to shocked and the sky was crying for you. Asking you to come back into my arms...

well alright, I guess I'll submit my own poem then. >w>; I can't find my other one..

Fear

Fear
that who's smiles, can be illusioned frowns
a story with four faces,
yet, without face.
Fear needs no holdings,
no life,
no respired cliches.
A grip of which comes without wings or hands,
a useless time
that of which we all
were slaves of his command.
Fear
is a four letter feeling
which swiftly pours in his dues to us all
and leaves, once again,
without a sound.

A Waking Sleep

As I wait, always asleep
Because all the time, I
Feel it's not just hazy, but
I never truly open my eyes

Does it mater anymore?
The unbreakable glass
Back to haunt me
Because it won't last

So I close my eyes
To the scenery
And it doesn't matter,
It was meant to be

There's no difference in
The dark of night
That makes it worse
Than the peircing light

So why must I
Pretend to stay awake?
When it's just so easy
To not be so fake

And the days pass by
And the moments blend
I can let my guard down
There's nothing to defend
