[FYI, Isabelle lives on the top floor. Gavin lives on the fourth and it seems like they live in the same apartment building...]
Sleep. It had been awhile since Gavin had any of it. Ever since New York, the detective would sleep with one eye open, hoping that none of the criminals he helped put away escaped and followed him to his apartment. Usually, he was tense, and would sleep lightly, having almost the smallest, tiniest, sound wake him up and look around his apartment. Gavin thought he'd be able to leave that behind, but with everything going on, he was wrong.
A scream. He just had to hear what seemed to be a girl scream in his apartment complex. He didn't want to open his eyes, but his consciousness would get the better of him. He unzipped his sleeping bag and got up, turning on the lights. It was at that time he saw something crawl up in front of his window. Surprised, he quickly grabbed his gun and bolted for it. He had to be quiet and careful. If these villains have started to go on the offensive, he'd have to make sure to take on them one at a time.
Slowly, he opened his bedroom window open. A cool breeze entered his empty bedroom and gave him a small chill. Carefully, he peeked his head outside, clutching his gun close to him, and readying his ability. However, as he looked up, whatever had scaled the building entered through a window one floor above his. However, from what he observed, no one screamed. Perhaps one of these villains was using the apartment above his as a hideout? That would be ironic indeed. Gavin had to do something.

Shania Mei Calder 100 Beasts in one body means trouble. Shania approached the girl slowly, "Well at first I wanted this apartment, but now i see you have company..so this would be rude of me to kill you infront of a guest." She stopped walking, she was still a few yards from the girl. She looked over into the doorway, this girl was probably like her but it was too early to assume. 'Im going to need to do something..quickly. Dont want to spend all night cleaning up this mess.'
Shania looked back over at the blonde girl. She started to play around with some papers on the desk to her left. "You know theres no point in resisting...it'll be like messing with a bear. An angry. Hungry. And Agressive bear." She said not looking at the girls anymore the image of a strong attacking bear ran through her mind, she could feel the strength pulse through her body. She read one of the envelops on the desk.
"Isabllea Vitale? Is that you sweetie?" Shania asked looking at the blonde girl with a questioning innocent face.

Oh great, someone else showed up here. Whats a girl to do? She could tell Isabella was starting to place Amanda's face. Maybe this new girl was a blessing in disguise. Amanda looked around. Perhaps Amanda can earn this girls trust. But how.
Ama, think. You can come up with something. Come on Ama. The light switch! Tell the truth. Help this girl get away from the convict. While disguising yourself as something else.
Her face went full set into panic. Amanda had been a lawyer. Went to Yale, she could lie and act. It came with her job. She reached over for the light switch, cutting the lights off. The next second, Amanda was behind Isabella. "She's one of them." That was all she said before she wrapped her arms around the other girl.
With in a couple seconds the two ripped through the shadows on the roof. Feeling like they are breaking through the surface of the water. Amanda let the girl go and fell backwards. She was tired. She had not moved someone so far before with her. And not that fast either. "Im sorry... I didn't mean... to just show up like that. I had been tracking her... she knew about you. And..." Amanda was hard on breath and hoped that the other could put the rest of the story together.

Isabella Vitale
Isabella watched the girl carefully as she stepped into the room. It was obvious now that she was one of the criminals that had escaped and was here for nothing benign. The danger of the situation was starting to sink in for her as the girl walked over to her desk, fiddling through some of the papers there. Her heart was pounding in her chest as the girl looked through her mail, getting to know her name. Izzy said nothing as the girl looked at her, asking to confirm the name that was on the mail. She stepped back a little from the girl, her back towards the kitchen. On the outside she continued to remain calm and collected, seemed more peeved at her intrusion than anything else. Unless their powers included mind reading or the ability to feed off emotions, they would never know the terror that had really gripped her.
Before she really had a chance to react, the lights flipped off, Izzy hearing a soft voice behind her before she felt like she dumped into a lake and then pulled through the surface of the water. She let out another surprised scream as all this happened, and by the time she was released once more, the echoes of her scream carried across the winds of the noisy roof. She had stopped screaming, mostly because her head was reeling from what was happening - that criminal knew about her? No one knew about her powers, she had been careful for years to keep them from being noticed. Stepping back from the girl who was on the ground, she got a good look at her for the first time. There was something off about her - why didn't she try to warn her before the other woman appeared in the window? And why was she dressed like she had just escaped from a...no way this was happening to her.
"W-Who are you, and how did you...do...that," she spoke softly, keeping her distance between herself and the girl.

Gavin put on a brown duster. He was still wearing gray sweatpants and a regular white t-shirt, but that was neither here nor there. He also grabbed his gun and his badge just in case whoever he was going to barge in and help would ask for proof he was a cop. Oh, and of course he took his tazer just in case. He needed that as well. What's a person to do right after taking another person's gift away? In all honesty Gavin wasn't really athletic. Sure he was fast and as strong as he could be, but he was still human. He still has limits. And besides, he only had ten minutes to subdue whatever crawled up to the apartment just above his.
Leaving his apartment, he made sure to lock his apartment first before running into the stairs. If it was indeed one of those criminals with special abilities, he only had moments before they would kill. Remembering his time in New York, those monsters would kill first and ask questions later. They were merciless and malicious. They had to be taken down swiftly or the ones trying to capture them would die. Gavin also had to be careful. For one thing, he doesn't know what the person looks like and if in case he finds out that there is more than one person, things to get tricky.

Shania Mei Calder 100 Beasts in one body means trouble. Shania only had a few moments to process what had happened. Now Shania was frustrated "Where did they go dammit!" she asked herself in an irate tone. The soft muffled sounds of someone came from above her. On her way in the window she noticed it was the last floor which ment someone was on the roof. Shania had a good guess it was the two of them.
Shania, still angry, walked towards the open door. It took her a short time to find the stairs and the only way to go now was up. It was only a few flights between where the apartment was and the roof acess door. As Shania approached the door and with one swift punch backed up with her newly added strength kocked the door off its hinges. It didnt go flying infact it was more dented and just fell flat forward.
She eyed thew two girls up and down, noticing the blonde was seeming more nervous than before and trying to keep her distance. "Now why would you run...i dont want to wear my new clothes out!" A small smirk appeared on her face. As Shania walked towards the girls she could faintly hear the sounds of someone else coming up the stairs form a lower floor, she had to keep that in mind.

“Names are no important. What can you do.” Amanda had caught her breath. She was slowly getting up and dusting her… ugly pale blue jumper off. She walked to the edge of the building to judge the distance to the ground. She could reach the ground in the darkness, but it was going to hurt quiet a bit. Leaving Isabella up here was not a way for her to gain the girl’s trust. And taking her straight down, was a good way to jar a few limbs during the fall.
She turned around at the sound of the door being crashed through. There she was the girl from downstairs. The woman stared the girl down. She had to process what to do. Almost instantly, Amanda slipped into her shadow form, melting in the darkness around her. Barely visible under the moon like and the few lamps lit on top of the apartment complex.
Hide…. Move…
Amanda moved through the darkness, careful to avoid the reach of the lamps. If only the lamps were gone she could have control of this situation. But she had to be careful. Amanda knew nothing of either girl’s powers. But knew the furious one was not someone to mess with. She knew that if she tried to hold Shania in place, with the light filtering the darkness around her, Shania would be able to rip through the dark threads that would bind her. They would stall a couple seconds, no more than that. It was no guarantee it would even hold her.

With a sudden surprise of another scream, Gavin held his gun above him, as if he was expecting something to fall right on top of himself. But, nothing did and he continued forth. However, he stopped for a moment and thought about something. The second scream no longer came from the floor he just entered through, no. Instead, it came from what the detective deduced as the roof. "Great...now they're on the roof..." he thought running pass by Izzy's door. However, he stopped in his tracks and saw a room was open. Could this be it? Someone must of fled and went up to the roof.
Looking ahead of himself, he saw someone start the ascent into the stairs that lead to the roof. "It must be her..." he thought. Now he had to be more careful. What if there was a hostage situation? What if there were more than two of there? He couldn't just go to the roof guns blazing. Gavin had to be smart. He needed to be observant of his surroundings and critically analyze the situation. Lives were on stake and he better make sure he does not make a mistake.
With caution, the detective ran to the end of the hall, just before the opening towards the roof. He leaned against the wall and tried to listen. It seemed the door to the roof was busted open and voices traveled down to where he was, though it was faint. To his worst fear, he was right. There was a hostage.

Shania Mei Calder 100 Beasts in one body means trouble. Shania watched as the girl in the jumpsuit turned into a shadowy figure and moved into the darkness. "Why do you have to hide the dark sweetie? If you were going to attack me why not do it in the open?" She yelled out to make sure the girl heard her. She was causious to make sure she was aware of her surrounds just so if the girl came at her she'd be prepared. She slowly walked towards the the other girl, still shifting her body around to be alert of anything in the shadows.

Isabella Vitale
"They're important to me," she started to say was the girl seemed to refuse to give her name, only interested in the power Izzy had spent so much time over the years keeping a complete secret. Was she that transparent? Before she could finish her thought however, the sound of a loud bang was heard, the door leading to the roof denting and falling forwards. Within seconds the girl in the jumper had disappeared somehow - it had to be something with the darkness around them, that was all she could think of. Looking at the obvious villainess, it was clear to her now that there was no way out of with without some sort of fight. Despite the fact she was scared out of her mind, once more Isabella stood her ground as the girl slowly stepped towards them. She was going to have to do something and fast if there was going to be any hope of her getting through this alive.
"Look, I don't know what you want from me, but I would get out of here while you still can," she said, her voice though strong trembling ever so slightly as she tried to sound tougher than she looked. In all honesty she was not very intimidating from the start. Her right hand went behind her back in a conservative way as she took another step back from the girl. She slowly began to rub her fingertips together, using the small movement to build up a little charge of energy in her. It was time to start fighting back, and if the girl didn't leave, Izzy was going to take charge of the situation. She was facing down a known criminal, and she had high suspicions that the other girl wasn't exactly what she seemed either, and she was now missing.

Shania Mei Calder 100 Beasts in one body means trouble. Shania turned to the girl and smirked. Letting her gaurd down slightly. She felt the pulsing strength in her body fade. "Sweetie what are you going to do? Hm? Unless well you can do what I can...but thats unlikely." She quickly looked around to make sure the shadow girl was coming at her.
'I need reflexes...like a cat' She thought to herself as a surge of smooth power ran through her. She knew she'd have to dodge something, and even though she didnt have strength anymore she could still fight.

Gavin had given it a lot of thought. He had a plan. He would need to make his presence known first, figure out who the super was and nail them with his own power and perhaps, depending on how they react would shoot to wound or use his tazer to electrify and subdue. He should have called for back up first. That was one thing Gavin thought too late about. Plus, they'd have to make one heckuva noise which would alert whoever is up on the roof. No, he had to do this alone.
With his gun still drawn, he finally ran upstairs. As he reached the top, he noticed that the door was flattened. With this observation, he guessed he would be dealing with someone who had super strength, or something similar. "CPD, everyone freeze!" This was it. He finally made his presence known, and depending on how the others would react, he too would respond accordingly.
However, something was a mist. The scene in front of him did not look like the one he imagined. Two ladies, one in a skirt and shirt, the other in jeans. Furthermore, each one looked tense and was ready to attack, so Gavin had a dilemma. Who was the threat and who was the one that screamed for help?

Amanda turned and saw a cop. Well things were just getting better and better. She looked around debating what to do. He had a gun. He didn't notice her. She could easily put the gun in her own hand. That could give her leverage. Maybe that was what she needed to get her way. But she couldn't do anything.
She looked around and then down at her clothes. This was not going to make life easy at all. She had to do something quickly. She moved towards the cop. She had to get that gun. She had a plan. Sliding out of the shadows, a swift kick hit at his arms, sending the gun into the air. She didn't plan this well at all. The gun didn't make it back to her, it landed on the ground between the now two groups.
Amanda stared at the man in the coat and sweats, her back to the other two. "Well... that didn't work as expected." She spoke slowly, before suddenly turning and leaping towards the gun.

Isabella Vitale
"Call me 'sweetie' one more time, and see what happens," she said softly, her eyes locking into the girl's as she continued to advance towards her. There was a sort of defiance in her gaze, a challenge almost as she stared at the girl. Isabella was not going to take this laying down - tonight was not her turn to die, and she certainly wasn't going to let some hussy show up and terrorize her into submission. In all honesty she had no idea what she was going to do, but as she felt the kinetic energy building up in her body she was starting to form a few ideas in her mind. If she could just knock the girl back, she could make a run for the door. Sure, it was a long shot, but the chances of her lasting in a fist fight with a professional, sociopathic criminal were not very likely.
Feeling a tingling feeling beginning to form in her chest, she focused the familiar feeling of being charged towards her hands, readying a large blast if she needed to. She had given the girl plenty of time to leave peacefully, but now she was pissed. However, before she had a chance to put her plan into action a man in sweats, a t-shirt and a brown jacket burst onto the roof, claiming to be a police officer. She had never been happier to see a man in her entire life. "Oh thank God," she heard herself say, turning her attention from the threat in front of her to the officer. She did keep herself charged however, ready to attack should the woman in front of her try anything. However, the girl from the shadows suddenly emerged, aiming a kick at the man's hand which sent the gun flying. That was it - her only form of "rescue" and it was now being lunged for by a girl she didn't even know.
Before she could stop herself, she felt it happening. The tingling in her stopped, the energy she had been storing materializing across her body as a sort of glowing film, concentrating around her figure, completely encompassing her in a glowing aura. Suddenly, in a blast of bright light completely illuminating the entire roof. At the same time a wave of condensed heat flew out in all directions, hitting those closest to her first (Shania), hopefully knocking the girl off her feet. Once it got to Amanda and the police officer, however, it seemed to be a little weaker. Her form still glowing, Izzy turned her attention on the girl going for the gun, throwing a concentrated ball of light towards her at incredible speeds. If he hit her, it would knock her away from the gun as if the ball were solid, and it would be very hot.

She only had a few moments to think, She quickly looked at the blonde girl and winked. She then fully turned around and looked at the man hopeing hed fall for her little act. "Please help me! I came up here because i heard screams! And then this shadwo thing took off and hid! And this girl threatened me!" She then began to back up from the blonde girl and towards the man. Hopefully he would think she was inncoent and wouldnt try to fight her, and hopefully those other two would screw up her plans.
