Revian grinned, but it was not noticeable by the mask. "We'll this will be an interesting contract. And Soullesses don't fright me one bit, so hiss at me and glare at me all you want miss. You don't scare me or provoke me one bit, so kill your jets and chill have a beer." He said and nodded his head to Rhina with a wink. He looked over to Seeah. "So when will this little contract begin?"

Revian slowly leaned into Seeah staring at him in the eyes. "My mother is a soulless, My boss is a soulless. I have dealt with a soulless when they have a strike. I have grown up with them, And my mother was very powerful, and she told me that i should never fear her because of it, or any other soulless because of that... i have grown up with them all my life, so I will be fine." He said without emotion. "This world has become cruel to the human race, and this contract of yours seems like the only way to end the cruelty to our race." He continued then stared even deadlier into his eyes. "I'm going out for a smoke..." He said getting up and slowly walked out of the bar.

Revian walked around the bar into the alleyway just beside it and sat down on a crate, slipping down his mask, and pulled out a match and a cigarette. He lit the match and with it he lit the cigarette. He breathed in on the butt of the cigarette and held it is, slowly breathing teh smoke out with a sigh.

Callide held her chin in her hand as she silently listened to the conversation. "So why am I here, my son?" She asked once Revian left. She drummed her fingers on the tabletop and frowned. "You've added poison to your tea. You cannot mix a priestess and a soulless!" She smacked the table angrily, her frown deepening. "I have been dragged from my lifelong prayer and worship to the gods, only to be sent back and forced to endure the menial tasks that I rose above!" She stood, both hands lying flat on the wood. "Explain this!"

Rhina's eyes kept focusing and unfocusing on him. Tears streaked down her cheeks and she leaned forward, into him, her now seemingly frail body shaking. Slowly she calmed down and the tears stopped. She stepped away form him and stood up, the last of the tendrils disappearing back into her. She beganto walk from the ally then stopped. "I don't know what Seeah told you about my past, but stay out of it. And I'm not lonely." She said, her voice cold again.

Seeah smiled at her. "I can very much so mix a priestess and a soulless. Is there any written piece that tells me I cannot? No, because it's perfectly reasonable. Priestesses have an amazing healing power. Not only on wounds, but on the souls and minds to, and on the souls and minds it's not magic. I hired you because I need you to help Rhina. She's a soulless, and thus, she's mean, she's uncaring, and she's stubborn. But she still has a human soul under everything, and that, including her mind, is scarred beyond what any humans should be. You may call her a creature, just as everyone else, but I call her a daughter, I see her as a living being. And to me, no living being should be so scarred, hurt, lonely, and traumatized as that young girl is." He said. After that he stayed quiet for a little bit, letting it sink in. "Does that make sense?" He asked.

Revian sighed and pulled up his mask, following her. He knew he had done his job, that's all that had mattered to him. Revian walked beside Rhina. "He didn't tell me anything. I knew something went terribly wrong in it as i looked into your eyes... My mother is a soulless, same as you." He said softly, looking at her. "I've went through the coldness but know that i will not stay out of it, because i have a contract to fulfill, so i will stay and calm you down each time that happens."

Revian ignored her and sat back down in his chair. He looked at Seeah and leaned into his ear. "Rhina let out the tendrils near the alleyway but i calmed her down. There's no need to worry." He whispered then leaned away.

Callide stood also, following after the group. She paused after they left the tavern, murmuring a prayer for the journey ahead. She caught Rhina's cold glare and flinched, looking at her feet. "I apologize, my daughter." She said softly, avoiding looking at the other.

Callide took the map from Seeah and examined it. She nodded slowly and pulled a rare bottle of ink and quill from a hidden pocket. "There are temples here and here." She commented, marking the places with X's. "There are many wells along the way but this one and this one are poisoned by demon presences." She made two more marks. "Along the way is Levis, a small unmarked town." She made a final mark. "My family lives there, they should be able to give us the items we might need replenish once we hit that distance." She examined the map once more as she put away the ink and pen. "There might be a few small markets on the way, but they know me there. Once I explain what's happening, they'll be more than willing to donate goods to the mission." She smiled and rolled the map up, tying it closed with a string. "In the name of the gods, we make this journey into the unknown."
