I was hoping to get my period the 14th, but I got it the 16th. I often spot for a few days at the end, so I figured there would be a good chance I would be spotting on the 21st. So I called and changed my biopsy appointment to the 23rd. They only had mornings that day though, so I have to be there at 10:15. I am not a morning person. xp
So I'll be going out of town Wednesday to stay at my parent's house. Thursday is the biopsy. Then I'll be coming home Friday or Saturday.

Oh, well. Timing isn't something we have absolute control of. I don't like mornings either, but I have got used to them.
Odd thing - I just threw up, and I have no idea why. I have not thrown up once during al this treatment. I immediately took a compazine, and feel better now.
Strange timing.

Throwing up sucks! Glad you feel better. Only thing worse than throwing up once is spending the whole day throwing up. xp
Just got off the phone with my father. He has his colonoscopy today, and he said everything was fine.
I love your fishy scarf. It's from the aquarium, right? I hope my aquarium gives me one soon. My guy didn't give me a gift today. *shakes fist at clam guy*

Now if he needs some other procedure in the future, maybe he'll feel better about getting it. Yeah, the scarf is from the aquarium, but my fish are not dying as cooperatively as I'd like. I bought it in the MP... from a misprice... hahahaha. I got it for 10,000 less than it should have been. 3nodding I still have the diarrhea, but it is less, and I am at last able to eat something. I see the oncologist tomorrow, so I expect to be drained of blood and who knows else to figure it out. I was supposed to have my chemo treatment, but no way in this condition. Believe me, I'd rather have the chemo and that wbc encourager from hell than this crap. I want to get on with it!

Third day in a row my lazy clam hasn't done a thing! So the scarf comes from the dead fish bag? I think I've had three fish die so far, but they didn't give me anything too great. I should have two more about to die before long though.
That's good that you're able to eat some at least. Is your weight all right or are you losing a lot?
My grandmother said she could not sleep after hearing about my needing a biopsy. She wants to go to the doctor with me. She lives an hour and a half away from my mother. So my grandmother and I will both going to my mother's Wednesday, then all three of us will be going to the doctor Thursday.
I don't think she needs to worry so much. I was really scared at first, but I have calmed down a lot since that first week. I know I probably don't have cancer, but I was still really scared of that "maybe" at first. Now I'm feeling more confident that my results will be fine, so my only concern is discomfort, pain, peeing on the doctor, and that sort of thing. xp
Why does the v****a have to be so close to the urethra? Half my concerns would be laid to rest if my v****a was where my belly button is. xp
My grandmother had a hysterectomy, maybe about 40 years ago. My mother asked her if she had cervical cancer, but she said she didn't. She said back then they'd give you a hysterectomy for just about any problems you had down there, and she kept having infections, so they gave her one. I don't know exactly how right she is in that, medical stuff does seem to confuse her.

OH!
You have your biopsy Tuesday Thursday, right? I'm crossing my fingers for you, and meanwhile, don't worry about it too much. A tweak, a pinch and it's all over. More or less. I have had one, quite a while ago, and it came out ok. I don't remember the pain as much as the result.
Just be sure to call back in a few days for the results. I had to wait nearly 2 weeks for my colon biopsy because the doctor never did call me. You don't need that hassle!

Yup, Thursday is the day. So I'm leaving tomorrow, coming home Saturday. I have a lot of cleaning to do before I leave. It's very cold here too, so I'll have to bundle up.
Now I'm wondering if the yeast infection pill worked a little too well and gave me a bacterial infection again. I'm having some very slight itching, which is very might like the itching I initially had, a sort of maybe I have something or maybe I don't kind of itching. I'll have to tell the doctor about it when I get there.

The Overseer doesn't like his job. He only does it twice a week right now, apparently for everyone.
I've had abnormal paps before. Had to get the biopsy too. Turned out, it was a mistake made by the P.A. doing the pap, and not me. Biopsy was negative. I've got high hopes for you, too. I'm down to having paps every 5 years, since I've never really had a dirty pap. I forget to go, but I know I'm due now.
I know you're leaving soon, so you are in my prayers that you get the same results I did. Good luck!!!

I hope everything went well and the biopsy is negative.
I've been having unusual nausea, just sleeping it away, so I forgot. I hope you can post tomorrow about how it went.

I went in for the appointment around 10am on Thursday. The lady at the desk gave me a number to call for financial aid as soon as I got home. I signed in, sat for about two minutes, then they called me in.
They had me pee in a cup, wait about two more minutes, then they had me undress for the exam. They said they might not even need to do a biopsy if they didn't see any signs of abnormality.
The exam was probably about 10-15 minutes long, just like they said it would be. I flipped through a magazine, but I wasn't able to relax and concentrate enough to read anything. The exam was uncomfortable, but it wasn't that extreme amount of discomfort that I was fearing, so that was a nice surprise.
My cervix did look abnormal enough that they did a biopsy, but they said they don't think it will come back cancerous. I didn't even feel it when they cut the piece of my cervix off.
They usually make people come in for their results, but I told them I'm an hour away, so they said they'd call me in one to two weeks with the results.
I was sore all the rest of the day, but not too bad. They also said I might bleed or have really weird discharge for up to a week. They gave me a maxi pad, but I haven't had much discharge at all.
I called the number when I got back to my mother's, and it sounds like they're going to cover the bill.
No sex or tampons for two weeks, which is fine with me. I feel fine, but I also wouldn't be surprised if sex hurt like a b***h right now, so I doubt I would have attempted it any time soon anyway.

So much for not having any weird discharge. I sneezed, and a big gob of goo came out of me. It was kind of scary and fleshy looking.

that always happen when you least expect it, but at least it's normal.
still feeling ok about thing? or the anxiety getting to yah? keep positive.
on a weird note, one of my best friend's sister had her cervix removed due to cancer, when she was 21. that was the only treatment she needed. she'd already had her daughter so she was ok about not having kids due to not having a cervix any more. she went in for a yearly (after a few years BTW) and her cervix had grown back. 10 years later, she was fully intact again. I had NO idea that could happen. DR's told her she could have babies if she wanted to. she didn't, but still, the option was available.
