Kurai stopped beneath an Ume tree,stretching up,trying to reach the fruit just out of her grasp," I am not pretending to be something I am not. I am trying to fit in. I do not enjoy being stared at any more than I am since I am not from here. And I have to admit, the clothing is lovely,the temperature is just perfect...I do love the forest..."

~obviously great time lapse~
Kurai was stretching,stretching,trying to reach the fruit high in the umi tree. It was just out of reach,teasing her. Today she wore a pair of loose fitting,white cotton pants and shirt,the shirt having a black collar. They were obviously mens clothes,stolen no doubt. Her black,curly hair was pulled up in a loose ponytail. Her brows were knitted together in frustration as she stared up at the umi trees delicious fruits.

A small grey figure came rushing thorugh the woods following the woman the whole time, it stodd by the tree she was at and was reaching at. It was behind the tree though the cat stood still it wasn't blending with the back ground but it was at least hidden behind the tree that was until it decided to climb to the lowest hanging branch the woman was reaching for. The animal came walking onto the brach just where the frust was and gave off the small meow as it looked down at her with bright yellow eyes.
The an stood a couple of yards away, able to see her but due to the distance and the falling snow he figured she would not be able to see him. He was leaning against the tree his pale back pressing into the bark, the tattoo's around his arms lay still due to his form. His purple eyes gazed from the distance watching his newly found companion tease or at least play with the woman he had met within the city.

Kurai peered up at the small kitten,her crimson eyes staring intently at it,"So it is you following me. I thought i heard you a while back. Then I thought perhaps I was just growing paranoid and hearing things. Either way, it was much safer that I ignore the sounds and act as if I did not notice them. " Though she was looking at the cat,it would be clear to anyone with half a wit she was talking to the man.

While she was reaching out the kitten would soon bat its hand at hers as it meowed towards her, then stood back from the limb and swished it tail as it stared over towards where its new friend was. He smiled somewhat and did not answer her, he slowly pushed from the tree and began to walk towards her; it was quiet though his footsteps could be held from the snow cruching over since the ice had also frozen atop the white pouder. His eyes flared somewhat as he approached from her right, the kitten ran down the tree branch and down the trunk as the man appeared, the cat fumped up as he held his arms open and soon tucked the kitten into his pale arms.
He scratched the kittens head as the small sounds of purring were emitted from the small body of the animal. He stared up at the woman as she stood there, he grinned somewhat and then looked down at the small animal. "So whats his name....?" he wondered if she knew he had been watching her when she had gone into town. Metal was different from the others he wasn't a mindless zombie and he had every intention in fullfilling his own desires, so his mind raced with the thought of her knowing he was speaking of the other male she had met within the city.

She watched the man and kitten curiously. He did not seem to be the sort to have a animal. Not one so fragil,she amended. She continued to openly stare at him,her tail swaying back and forth lazily. She would c**k her head to the right,her left ear twitching slightly,"The kitten is a he then? I would have figured it to be a female kitten."

He smiled at her and soon closed his eyes as he lowered his head somewhat. he laughed to himself all the while he scratched the kittens head while he slowly opened his eyes and looked up at her. "Friday...." he whispered knowing she was asking the kittens name. He soon dropped the animal to the ground as he looked up at him and tilted its head before giving out a small meow towards him. He took a glance at the animal and then looked back over to her. "Alright then...no games this time...." he smirked looking at her. "The man you were with in town.....who is he.....what is he and what is he doing in the city?"

She chuckled softly,"Man? The annoying man by the fountain? Have you been spying on me this whole time? Is it your eyes that have sent shivers running down my spine at odd hours because I could feel them watching me? Is it you who has been stalking me?"She would smile coyly up at him. She had purposfully ignored his questions. She had questions of her own.

Smiling as she spoke he turned and leaned his body against the nearest tree. "You know....lets put it this way, if I wanted to kill you i could have.....and still even now I can..." he grinned and allowed the large fangs to show to her, he actually couldn't remember if he had flashed his fangs at her once before, but time would tell. His dark long hair was positioned behind his back as the kitten ran its side against his leg as he stood near the tree. "Besides at least I didn't give in to them when they told me you were to die, that you deserved to die that you needed to be cleansed from this place. " his eyes flashed with a dark purple. "Besides....theres no god...they only follow this false religion to keep their minds sane and soild, until the gods rip open the skys and speak for themselves, then no one in that city interest me...execpt the ones like us...."

"Oooh. The kitty man has fangs. Is this where I begin trembling in fear and crying hysterically before I run away to my safe,cushy life always watching over my back for the man who is going to kill me?"She arched both slender brows,her lips curving into a mocking smile,"Let them believe in their Gods and Goddesses. Only time will tell if they have one to save them or damn them. Let them be happy." She raised her chin defiantly. She did not like being labled."What do you mean 'the ones like us.'"

"Since when did the scared rabbit get a spine...?" his head turned while his pale toned arms crossed over his toned torso, his hair fell down into his face making him look more deranged. The chain collar jingled around his pale neck as he slowly bent down and reached for the cat, he pucked up the animal and pressed its warm fur against his face as he gave the woman a sinster smirk. "Come now...what is it you turely desire....and make it dark...tell me..." the cat meowed at the woman as he ran his hand against his head and ears.

Her crimson eyes darkened for a moment before returning to their original color,"The rabbit has never truely been scared. It has always had its spine and wits about it. It is just skilled at secrecy."She returned his smirk,"What is it that you want? What do you hide creature? What is it that you crave?"She would tip her head to the right once more,purposfully baring her neck.

"I only hide my content to rip my sword through your beating heart and allow the red blood to flow into the snow and melt the white powder away from the ground." He stared he hated those that believed they knew of the dark ways within the world, he knew that she was somewhat acting as if she was malovent.

She would chuckle darkly,a smile lighting her face,"What is to stop you. It is obvious I cannot fight. It is obvious I am out of my element here. What stops the beast within? Perhaps the dead has a beating heart too,hmm?"
