Watching the Guardian vanish, Yukio scratches his head in confusion. "What the....." a moment later, his attention is reclaimed by the strange monk man. "Uh.... right!" the man charges, sword raised. Taking an aggressive step forward, he swings his blade in a curved motion, sending a an almost whip-like shot of lightning at one of the large bears. The strange weapon slashes across th beast's chest, burning its way through its vital organs. Spinning to attack the other bear, Yukio turns on his heel..... and falls over. If the captain had been there, she would have proceeded to bang her head against the wall at her aide's idiocy. Scrambling to his feet after a moment, the bear appears standing menacingly over Yukio.

Hakuma spotted the danger the weather wizard was in and acted quickly and accordingly. Hakuma took a deep breath and when he exhaled his blade lit on fire. Hakuma charged the menacing bear, who was oblivious to his arrival, and slashed at the bear. The heat from the sword almost added an extra sharpness to the blade as Hakuma almost slashed the bear in half!
"One down.... you think we can split up and cover more ground, I'm sure we can handle them alone if there are only three per each room." Hakuma suggested, but Hakuma would understand if he disagreed.

Sighing in relief, Yukio nervously laughs an apology. "Split up? Erm... okay?" he nods, not quite thinking it was a good idea. They had been lucky this time, with only three inside. There was a possibility that there would be more than three in any of the other buildings. "Which one, then?" he asks, scratching his head nervously. His other hand gripped his blade tightly, his knuckles white with the effort.

Hakuma looked at the other buildings, keeping his eye mostly on the one in the center.
"We'll make our ways around the dojo, leave the one in the center alone until we deal with all the others." Hakuma announced making his way to the building to the left of the one they were already at. Hakuma was sure that the thing controlling all these animals was in the center, and he wished to deal with it last so the two of them wouldn't be outmatched or outnumbered.

Nodding, Yukio moves in the opposite direction. He still wasn't very fond of this plan, but found that he might as well go along with it. Slipping silently into the building on the right, Yukio readies his weapon. Only three animals in this one, two tigers and a lion. Moving like a shadow, the wizard manages to take out the lion before alerting the two other large felines to his presence. As they charge, he strikes the other cat, possibly blinding the other one. This didn't seem to help much, as the remaining animal was already lunging through the air at him. "Ahhh!" turning on his heel, Yukio slips again.... and the cat goes flying over him, crashing into the wall. It snarls, turning to face Yukio's blade as it stabs into the beast's neck. "Not..... a good.... idea!"

Hakuma entered the next building, this room was a gaggle of five monkeys. Whe the light shone in on them, they went wild and all five of them ounced on him like a monkey swing. Hakuma took a few steps back as he swung his arms violently to get them off. The monkeys began to scratch, bite and punch Hakuma everywhere on his body. After Hakuma had quite enough, he took a deep breath and in a big fiery explosion, Hakuma exhaled unleashing a gigantic fire that burned all the monkeys to oblivion, so to speak.
"Alright.....I guess there's more than one way to skin a monkey...." Hakuma said as he went to the next building. Hakuma assumed the weather wizard had finished his house, which meant there were three more houses remaining, so Hakuma and the weather man needed to eliminate the last two buildings before tackling the one in the center. Hakuma had noticed tha a blue light began to resonate from the paper windows, but ignored it and continued onward to the next building.

Yukio, on the other hand, is completely freaked out by the glowing paper windows. Entering the next building with less stealth this time, he's attacked by a large bear, a large bird roosting within also came out, talons gleaming. Behind to two assailants, a lioness watches, probably bored. Bursting out of the building, Yukio runs around in large circles to try and escape his assailants. After a moment, he turns, sending what can only be described as a tornado of lightning, sending the bear flying off, and the bird of prey roasting. Panting, Yukio bends over, hands on his knees. A moment later, the lioness pounces from behind, knocking him over. "I HATE HUNTING!" he yells, wrestling with the angry feline. Plunging his blade into the animal's chest, he rolls from under the shrieking beast. Waving his hand, the cat is struck by a stray lightning bolt, and it's agonized screams are quieted. At his sanity's edge, Yukio plops down into a sitting position to await his comrade's return.

One more to go, when Hakuma opened the next Dojo he came across not only a bear and a lion, but a bull!
"You've gotta be...." Before he could end his sentence the bear charged at him. With Hakuma's giant sword, he was able to easily block the bear's charging, and with his breath he shot fire out of his mouth to permanently blind the bear's eyes. The lion quickly retaliated with a claw to Hakuma's arm, hakuma quickly took his colossal blade and swung it wildly at him cutting through it's hind legs. Lastly was the bull, it's size would be trouble for him, but Hakuma thought he could handle it. The bull scuffed one of his hoofs on the floor, and Hakuma brought his sword in between him and the bull. The bull frantically charged towards Hakuma, knocking him back and sending him outside of the building. Hakuma crashed to the concrete floor as the bull continued to charge at him.
"You son of a...." Hakuma breathed in deeply and pointed his finger at him as if it was a gun. Hakuma quickly breathed out and a bullet-like burst of fire shot out of his finger, blasting the bull in the head and making him fall to the floor in front of him....
"It's not over yet." Hakuma said looking at the center building where the insides were shining brightly an azure light. It's source couldn't be seen from where he was...he had to go inside the dojo. Hakuma made his way around the building to catch up with the weather wizard.
"Looks like you held out nicely... just one more..." Hakuma said.

((Wow, this has been pretty quiet, time to liven things up a bit))

Suddenly the walls of the center building erupted in a array of blue flames, the fires shot out from all directions and Hakuma could only watch as this building began to burn.
"No!" Hakuma yelled in lost. He hoped something like this would never happen.
"Who has done this?" Hakuma sought revenge on whomever seemed to enjoy burning his dojo to the floor.

Out of the flames came a supernatural, and low echoing laughter. Hakuma stared as a figure began to form inside the flames.
"I could ask the same of you, who has dared to annihilate my animals?" The figure's echoing voice asked.
"You first!" Hakuma demanded with his blade lit up with his blue flame that seemed to match the fire of the burning building.
"Very well then..." The figure began to step out of the fire...... it wasn't human. Standing before him was a monster, a demon. His large horns drew the fact that he was a demon, not to mention his features. Skeleton like body, dark wings with holes in them, and a skull hanging from one of them. Everything about this thing pointed to demon.

"I am Anima, the harbinger of your demise." The demon announced.
"You have destroyed my animals, and now you shall--" The demon halted his words to observe Hakuma's flame that seemed to match his. He began to laugh again as he raised his arm. A fire appeared in his hand forming a blue glowing scythe.
"I see you have been touched..." The demon who referred himself as Anima announced.
"What are you talking about? Answer me!" Hakuma demanded angrily.
"Very well then, you don't seem like you'll cooperate, I have no choice but to destroy you." Anima said bluntly as he charged with his scythe towards Hakuma.

Hakuma acted accordingly and blocked the scythe that had approached him. The impact of the attack sent a small, yet noticeable shockwave making the ground under him slightly crack.
"What do you mean, 'touched' ?" Hakuma demanded again to Anima.
"You'll come to know...in due time." Anima said as he freed one of his arms from his scythe and grabbed onto Hakuma's chest with his one hand. Hakuma was picked up into the air, to Anima's level, the two of them looking face to skinless face.
"What shall you do? Will you die here by my hand, or face the future you have been destined with?" He said vaguely, showing no explanation to his obscure words.
"What the Hell are you talking about?!" Hakuma said as he brought his blade up, but it was knocked out of his hand by Anima's scythe. His blade flew high into the air and stuck into the roof of a nearby dojo building.

Anima glared down at Hakuma, gripped tightly in his hand.
"You still don't know, do you...well it's best if you figured it out on your own....In Hell!" Anima said as he raised his scythe into the air, his blade ready to take off Hakuma's head.
Quickly, Hakuma too a breath in and exhaled an azure fire into Anima's face. This sudden outburst of fire from Hakuma's mouth brought Anima off guard and let go of Hakuma.
"You Cur!" Anima yelled as he covered his face with his hands. Hakuma took this opportunity to grab his blade that was stuck in the nearby roof. Hakuma lit the blade on fire and pulled it out with the heat as the grease to get it out of it's spot. Anima had regained his composure and launched his scythe towards Hakuma. Hakuma was able to foresee the scythe and jumped over it, Anima's scythe made a halt just below Hakuma and began to chase after him in the air. The blades were facing Hakuma as it blasted towards him, he was able to block the shot with his sword and redirect the scythe far enough to reach ground level before it went back to Anima.
"You are quite skilled...more than worthy to have been touched...oh, let's not reveal the secret." Anima said, the scythe returning to his skeleton like hand.
"Dammit...." Hakuma cursed to himself as he continued to question this 'being touched' thing Anima spoke of. Hakuma threw his fiery blade back and charged towards Anima, who had readied his scythe for his attack. Hakuma leaped into the air to reach his shoulder height and made a horizontal attack towards his chest. the scythe was unprepared for this horizontal attack and Anima took the hit, cutting several of his ribs.

{I'm sorry, Azure, things keep coming up when I get to posting here! D: }

Standing off to the side, Yukio is left alone. Taking the moment of distraction as a gift, he regains his breath slowly. The poor Weather Wizard, much unlike his captain was a bit frail for a warrior. His spells usually kept him farther out of the battle than this, and all this running was hurting his legs. After a moment, he stands back up to his full stature to find that his comrade in mid-attack against this newest foe. Raising his arms, he chants out another spell. "Levitas Tempestas!" his hands shoot outwards, pointing towards the sky above the two in combat. A sort of energy shoots from his fingertips, up, into the sky. Instantly, the clouds blacken, and the charging of electrons in the air are heard. Testing his storm, the Weather Wizard points towards the ground beside him, about a yard and a half away. Sure enough, a bolt of teal lightning shoots down, leaving a scorch mark behind. "Perfect!"
PostPosted: Thu Sep 25, 2008 6:06 pm

The bolt of lightning only distracted Hakuma, but also Anima as they brought there attention to the scorch mark. Anima realized then and there he was outmatched, but continued onwards with his arrogance.
"How dare you damage my body! You shall both suffer for your ignorance. I am Anima, deathbringer!" He said as he made a dash towards the Weather Wizard. Hakuma acted accordingly and dashed towards Anima, but couldn't keep up with him.
"Look out!" He yelled to the Weather Wizard, even though he was more than focused on the enemy at hand.

(No problem. I've been preoccupied with things anyway, I don't mind.)

"Levitas!"
The word rings outwards, the wizard pointing directly at the strange skeleton-thing. Honestly, Yukio had no real idea what it was. All he knew was that it was blow it up, or be cut to bits. Making the obvious decision, Yukio's hand shoots outwards again, a brilliant teal bolt of lightning shooting down from the sky, almost like the wrath of God...... only from that of a Weather Wizard. "You know what, Anime?" he asks, deliberately saying his name incorrectly. "You're one ugly sucker." his other hand comes forward, and claps against the other, only it continues forward, and Yukio's body is facing to the side, only his head remains facing his attacker. Another, larger, bolt of lightning comes shooting downwards, on the other side of the strange creature so that it would be near impossible to dodge both.
PostPosted: Sat Sep 27, 2008 2:47 pm

Like the Weather Wizard Predicted, Anima dodged the first lightning bolt by a hair, but had no chance of dodging the second one as the bolt shot through the arm that held his scythe along with the rest of his ribcage. Anima screamed in an array of anger and pain as the scythe landed on the ground beside him and as Anima clenched the nub that was left of his arm.
"D-damn you..." Before Anima could say another word, Hakuma continue his approach from behind and sliced Anima down the middle from his waist. A standstill of silence appeared as Hakuma lowered his fiery sword and awaited for Anima to be finished. Anima laughed one last time and made his descent with a few final words.
"You'll be back...for more..." Anima couldn't finish his sentence and fell to the floor in pieces. With a sigh of relief, the fire on Hakuma's blade went out.
"Finally, it's over....are you alright?" Hakuma asked the Weather Wizard who seemed to have handled the situation with ease.

"Disperse!" Yukio waved his hands, his arms extending away, to the sides of his body. The lightning storm swirled, spiraling downwards, and disappearing into the red jewel on the Wizard's forehead. The jewel glowed, and Yukio winced in pain. Powerful storms always caused him headaches when he disrupted them. Rubbing his head in irritation, it takes him a moment to realize he was being addressed. "Oh yes. I'm quite alright." he smiles, a bit nervous. He hadn't liked the threat left behind by the creature. Now that the fight was over and he was out of immediate danger, the strange captain's assistant returns to his normal klutzy self. "You're not injured either, correct?"
