HA HA HA THAT SHOW WAS SO HORRIBLE IT WAS FUNNY.

It lasted 13 episodes, then was cancelled. DUH.

Because it was unpopular. "IGN rated the DVD release of The Legend of Zelda a 3.0, or "Bad", citing poor writing, repeated plots, and over the top acting."
Plus it annoyed the hell out of me whenever I watched any part of it. Most people I talked to agreed with me full-scale.

Not that all American attempts to make spin-offs of Japanese concepts are bad. For example, in my opinion, Avatar: The Last Airbender is a very impressive American cartoon mimic of anime.
