In Tokyo. I always forget I have a distinctly Hokkaido dialect. Things are a little harder on the ear here. Like Chya instead of kya...... that sort of thing. And the "T"s are a personal choice.

Gotta love the different dialects! I want to hear someone from the Kansai reason speak!

And in regards to love, Megumi, I second what Rain-chan said. If we can find love, anyone can!

I know a few people who got knocked up right out of high school. Not married though. And my fiance and I will have been together for almost 3.5 years before our wedding. We really moved fast. Of course, before our first date I shot down every one of his attempts to ask me out. And our first date I originally viewed as us just hanging out to watch some movies (He had never seen Pretty Woman and I volunteered to bring my dvd copy over lol) and it turned into a date.

Two days later we were officially a couple. And within the first few weeks he told me he expected a wedding one day. Six months later he bought me a Wii and we were looking for our own place. We moved in together in September of last year.

And then in November of last year we became engaged. And then after a year together, we got a house. And come this September we will be viewed as legally common law because we've been living together for a year.

I believe that even though we've moved this fast, it was all meant to be. He knew all of my dad's sisters well before he knew me. I went to high school with his step-siblings. He came into my life after my heart had been completely shattered and he mended it.

Ironically my man and I were just the opposite.

We met move in day of freshman year. Our dorms shared a lobby.

We were completely oblivious of each other's feelings for EVER.

It took us almost a year to get to "I love you."

At two years we broke up a few times.

We just hit three, he's moving into my apratment, but I'm not living there, I'm in Japan. When I go home he'll be leaving for a semester in Canada.

We'll be "officially" engaged at three years and four months. We might as well be now, but I don't have my ring yet.

We won't live together because I will need a job about 70 miles from where he'll be getting his masters.

We won't get married until we've been together at least four years, and if financial situations don't work out well between now and then, we'll have to wait until we've been together almost six.

But after that it's smooth sailing.

I spent most of my time at his old place before we moved in together, so the logical next step was to get our own place. My mom is all psyched about us getting married and she's willing to put a lot of money into it for us. And his mom and step-dad will help out as well as they can (his step-dad's retired and right now his mom is laid off). Plus, whatever we put aside within the next year ourselves...

I spent my life up until the day we met waiting for him. I realized that well into our relationship. However, it took the loss of my grandfather for him to come into myself to put me back together and complete me...

I imagined a really wonderful guy to be with, but he's so much better than my imagination.

We probably won't get any help with our wedding. His family will pay for the rehearsal dinner. They are pastors, so we'll get the church and reception hall for free. My dress is a hand-me-down that I love. But other than that, I will be paying for everything. I'm trying to keep it simple, for the sake of my wallet and because I'm not a fan of huge weddings. I don't know if we'll get a honeymoon.

We may put our honeymoon off, if I can convince him lol

Nah, I'd say the living together is the best part. He takes really good care of me.

I'm so hungover sick today. No really I am sick. I woke up this morning with an awful headache, muscle aches, and all shaky and cold. I think I'm just going to lay in bed today.
