ikari quickly got up...brushed herself off...charon looked ready to push the door open for their entrance and introductions...however at the last minute...Ikari made a quick bolt to the door, leaving Charon to wonder what was the new plan of action.
'i think that i should first aquiant myself with the castle...then the dorms i'll save for last'
she didn't go far before she noticed that...she was lost. but this didn't bug her. she liked things like this. another chapter in the life of an adventurer, right?
before to long she had found herself in a great hall...there seemed to be many other students in the hall alreday.

Mel ran after the girl wondering why she had left the common room when she had just gotten there. "Hi," said Mel, almost out of breath,"I see that you're in Hufflepuff, too. Nice to meet you."

Ikari heard someone call out and glanced back to see one of the girls from the dorm room coming up behind her. she quickly skidded to a halt. Charon wasn't around yet, but she knew that he would be coming up soon
"hiya, nice to meet you too. my names Ikari. what's yours?"

"Hi," said Mel, clutching a stitch in her side, "I'm Mel or Melanie or Melano or almost anything you can think of, I've been called... but preferrably one of the first three sweatdrop . Anyways, I see that you're in Hufflepuff, too. I'm sure you met my cousin at one point or the other, Cedric?"
Mel finally caught her breath and looked at the other girl.
"You're pretty fast. It took me awhile to catch up to you," said Mel with a smile.

Arianna walked into the Hufflepuff common room and saw that her favorite chair, a gigantic one right in front of the fire, was open. She rushed and jumped into it, pulling out some parchment from her bag. She curled up and began to write, pausing every few seconds to look at the fire, thinking.

Nina entered the common room to find her twin, Star, already there. 'There you are Star!' she said while walking up to her sister and sitting down next to her. 'I've been looking for you! Where have you been?' She bent over her bag and pulled out her wand and started levitating a cushion out of bordom. ((sp?))

"I was in the library. Honestly, you should really tink about visiting there more often. They have facsinating books." Star said to Nina. She sat down. She reached in her bag and pulled out a book. She started to read, her mind drifting into the book.

Arianna finished writing. She announced to everyone in the room: "You may want to cover your ears. I'm feeling kind of lazy, so I'm just going to wistle for my owl." She waited a few seconds in order to let everyone cover their ears, and then wistled shrilly. A few secons later her owl came fluttering through an open window. She tied the letter to her leg, told her "Home" and sent her on her way with a peice of bread. She looked around and saw Star and her twin, and walked over to them. "Hey Star!" she said. "And you could only be Nina." She said, turning to her twin. "I'm Arianna."

Nina let the cushion fall as she looked up at Arianna. 'Hi!' Nina said, smiling. 'Like you said, my name is Nina. That cool that you trained your owl to come like that!'

Nina stood up and put her wand in her robes. 'Ok...well i think im gonna go to the library or something. It was nice meeting you Arianna. See you later!' said Nina. And with that she strolled out of the common room. 'Where should I go....' she thought to herself. She thought for a while and then started at a quick walk to her destination.

"I'm ok. Look, I want to apologize for what happened in the great hall. I should be over it by now. I...could...would..." She took a deep breath. "Do you think...maybe...I could tell you what happened? I kinda need to talk about it." She said, uncertain becuse she barely knew this girl, and she wasn't even sure why she was saying all this. In the year her cousin had been dead, she had never talked about it.

Even though Star new, she accepted that Ari needed to talk about it again. "Alright. You can tell me anything you wish to tell me." Star replied. Star hoped that they would become good friends.
