Reesu La Who thinks we should turn this into a Foriegn Language Discussion Thread? smile *raises hand* I only take German though...I just kind of pick up Japanese from random things. I also bought a few phrasebooks, but that can't compare to having a teacher.

I'm sure someone else on here might be learning German. ^_^ I'm learning french and Japanese, myself. 3nodding

Other languages are so hard for me to learn for some reason... I have a few French words in me as well as a bit of Russian, but not enough to survive in a country where the language is spoken. sweatdrop

I have about five years of classes in Spanish and French. So theoretically I could survive in a French or Spanish-speaking country, if the natives didn't mind waiting five minutes for me to form a sentence. xp
I've tried teaching myself Japanese, but it doesn't stick. So I have the typical anime fan's repertoire of Japanese words. Princess! Cute! I can't even ask for the bathroom. xd

I know quite a bit of Latin even though I've only been studying it roughly a year and a half.

sestina Le francais, le francais... il y tant de vous qui le parle! Depuis quand est-ce que tu l'apprends, azn_AWW_azn? AGH! Too good! *implodes* I'm probably not good enough to communicate well enough, but to answer your question, since I was six, but only because I live in Canada and it's included in my curriculum. Hope I gave an answer to the right question... stressed
