Ronnie saw the ship and two pirates next to it. His ear flicked in annoyance when he saw they were leaving. He was late. He walked over to them casually. "Lizzard Gizzard?" he chuckled.

Minerva blinked at the voice and slid behind her captain, peeking out at the new comer.

"Um...aye. It be a joke bout the barbies."

He nodded happily. the crew seemed cheerful enough. He then remembered his manners. "Ma'am, I be here to join yer pirate crew." He nodded his head in respect toward the captain. "I promise to work hard an be more punctual, Ma'am, if you just let me join!"

Maggy stood tall before Minerva, not knowing who the newcomer was at first and wondering swiftly if he was some new form of trouble to the younger anthrosian.
She relaxed slightly though, and a grin split her face at the other Anthrosian's request.
"Aye there! We be lookin' for a few good hands, that fer sure." She exclaimed, sizing the other up. "What be yer name, lad? And yer experience in crewin' a boat is always good fer a cap'n ter know afore lettin' some landlubber aboard 'er ship." She said, more seriously.

Minerva's ears went back alittle at her captain's choice of words. She was a lubber. Was she unfit to be on The Ghost. She also just kept her hiding place behind her captain. She was so shy around new people, and this was a guy.

Dee seen people over at this ship so she quickly strode over eager to find a crew to join. She stopped a few feet short of the group as not to interupt the captin while she was speaking. While waiting for the Captin to finish speaking Dee re-wound the rope to her grapple hook on the side of her belt seeing as it had come loose at some point through out the day.

Ronnie nodded. "Me name be Ronnie, and I've had experience sailing fishing ships, ye know. Also, I can be a pretty tough fighter in a scrap!" His chest puffed out proudly, as if he had claimed to have taken out the whole navy. "But some times I be runnin' away from the toughest folk..." he said, blushing embarassedly.

User ImageNeedless to say, Bremusa was not one of the brightests pirates on the ship. She knew nothing about having to "sign in", a few too many days on the sea had mixed some of her brains. When the brightly colored pirate finished her mug of rum, she walked over to The Ghost.

Why not? It was a pretty ship. She looked at the short line and say some other anthrosia's talking. Someone was standing back.

Bremusa walked up the ship and quietly edged her way past the others. It didn't seem wrong to her, she'd meet everyone later? No?

Maggy studies the two anthrosians standing before her and smiles inwardly.
Oi! Looks like me Ghost be finally gettin' some salt! She thinks to herself.
Feeling Minerva stiffen behind her, Maggy gives her a quick smile of encouragment to her young friend. "No hard feelin's lass, yer no longer a lubber, yer a crew of The Ghost, and don't ye be forgetin' it. Besides, Cabin Kitties are a bit exempt from that rule- everones' gotta start somewhere." She says before returning her gaze to the proud looking chap before her.

"Robbie is it? I be Cap'n Maggy "The Wraith" Calisto. Jus' so ye know, bein' a pirate is a mite bit differen' than bein a fisherman, but we can use some good hands tha' know the ropes, that fer sure. And runnin' sometimes is what a smart cat does in a pinch. There's no shame thar." She pauses to give him a look up and down, and nods curtly.
"With things bein' so hectic 'round here at port, I can't say I'd mind givin ye a chan- Oi! What a second there missy!" Quick as a whip, Maggy's hand reaches out to the flamboyant looking Anthrosian woman as she swayed right past her heading for the cabins, turning her about.

"Where do ye think ye be goin, lass?" She queries, laying a hard glare at her. She had the swagger of a pirate, to be sure, but Maggy decided to not take any chances.
"Ye best be talkin' right quick there, youngun, I don't take kindly to stowaways, least of all them that waltze right in under me nose!"

Minerva smiled back at her captain but then watched the....well....BRIGHT pirate try and go on the ship. She still continued to keep her place behind the captain. A cabin kitty knew it twas best to stay out of the way.

Dee looked up to see what all the noise was about. Aparently some gal had got it in her that she didnt need to check with the capitan before boreding her ship. Dee found this amusing, being on and off ships most her life, young even though she be. She learned that dis-respecting the captan be just about the last thing you want to do on the captans ship, especially if you plan on having a ship to live on. She lit a ciggarette while waiting for the capitan to finish her business.

"Ronnie, actually..." siad Ronnie, quietly. He turned to look at the character Cap'n Calisto was directing her scornful tone at... and nearly got blinded by colour. Whoever was trying to get on the ship, it was no suprise she had not gone by unnoticed. He thought that even a nearsighted pirate with an eye missing could miss her. He then shook his head. That was exaggerating, she looked nice, just a bit cocky.

A chubby and cheerful looking man walks amiably over to the ship. "I hear ye be looking for a cook? Well, I be the cat for the job! I be a bit stern, but I figure if yer hungry, ye won't mind." A bit was an understatement. Brendan Budher was the sternest chef that ever had such a pun of a name.
