The boat had been spotted by one of the pirate patrols. This was usually not that big of a deal, but this boat had a reputation for plundering anything-- friend or foe. "Great, take a paddle and help me row. We need to get back to Talis now." Deryck began to row faster, obviously frightened by the incoming fate.

"Why? It's just a bo--" Aiden ducked just in time for a cannonball to whiz above his head. ""Okay, where's a paddle?" The duo rowed, the cannonballs exploding water all around them. They were getting close to the shore when a cannonball hit true, and sunk the boat in a hail of broken boards.

A few hours later, Aiden and Deryck washed up on the shore, both were out cold, and both had a few minor wounds.

Deryck's eyes snapped open. Something was wrong, not counting the new room. His head pounded, and nausea threatened to reintroduce him to his breakfast. When his eyes adjusted to the dim light of the room, and he realized that there was no one to endanger, he got up from his spot on the bed and staggered towards the door, which he quickly locked. The room began to spin, and then the change began.

First his eyes changed to a deep red, which was followed by the dark red hair that began to sprout down his neck, chest and back. Soon his arms and legs followed suit, and the hair began to grow. Claws sprouted from his fingers, muscles rippled across his body, and his jaws lengthened, forming a snout with fangs. A bushy tail soon grew.

Aiden sprung to his feet at the sound of a large roar. "What the bloody hell?"

The werewolf version of Deryck was clawing at the door, while snarling and growling. With a mighty roar, he punched a hole in the door, his clawed hand was through and attempting to find something to grab.

Aiden was oblivious to his surroundings. He was only focusing on the sound that the creature was making. It seemed oddly familiar to him, which made him run towards the sound.

Deryck grabbed more of the door and pulled, ripping out several large chunks. Now the hole was big enough for him to stick his head through and snap at anything that moved.

"Yea, looks like you have everything under control." Aiden turned and left the hallway, an idea in his mind. He would head outside and break into the room from the back.

First there was a crash, then a yelp, and the werewolf took off out of the room, into the woods. The source of the crash was a large hole in the wall that was made by Aiden, and the yelp was Deryck getting burned. "I applaud your intellect. Simply standing around and gawking made him run off."

Julius was walking around through the woods, he was tired and exausted after about two days of wandering. The island was huge and he had washed up on shore a few days ago. He was lucky to have what he did after falling overboard of the ship he was, hell, he was lucky to be alive in general. It was day out, but in the woods it was still darkish. Up ahead he heard the snarling and growling of a beast. He caught a glimpse of it and immedietly panicked. He drew his killing edge and went into to his stance but the beast just charged right past him. Julius was afraid and fell on his rear and sat there catching his breath wondering just what the hell that was. He heard the sound of a horse galloping in the distance. He looked up and saw someone riding towards him.

"So, is all you do is gawk, huh? Not my thing. Bye." Aiden waved goodbye to the people who were still gathered around the partially destroyed door. He also wanted to find the creature, if only to study it.

Deryck still had partial control over the werewolf. By partial, i mean he could almost stop himself from running, but with the lady on the horse, he ran like crazy.
