I hope Lee's voice isnn't stupid. I am also praying the same thing for Gaara, Neji, and Tenten.

I've somehow convinced myself he's Irish anyway *pours luckycharm marshmallow bits on ramen* xp that would also be hot lol It's the green huh? I imagine him with some high pitched voice that still is sorta loveable. whee If they gave him a super macho voice, or something like the dubbed One Piece Sanji's, THEN I would be upset. But I'd love him anyways.

Actually, American voice actors will change the pronunciation of a name because it's easier for them to say. Sometimes it's hard to get out a specifically difficult name consistently, especially if you don't speak the language. The mark of a good dub is when they pick one pronunciation and stick with it. If they bounce from one way to another then the inconsistency messes up the flow of the show and you have right to be upset.
Personally, I can't stand the dub beyond Iruka and Zabuza's voices. Naruto's, "BELIEVE IT!" is far less charming than 'dattebayo'.

I don't know what his voice will sound like. It might be okay.
I was just thinking about something the other day. I was wondering how it was going to sound hearing Lee's name in the U.S. version. Rock Lee sounds really cool to me. I don't know that Lee Rock sounds as good. Most of the other names are fine, but this would sound weird to me. Maybe they won't change it. Has anyone else thought about this?

Personally, I have to switch accents in order to pronounce Japanese words correctly, and it sounds odd most of the time. (But if I don't, I'll be flayed alive but any anime fans within earshot of my poorly pronounced Japanese... stare ) They'll probably have a somewhat bizarre sounding voice for Lee, as he's somewhat of a bizarre character (and I mean that in a good way). The English voice for Xellos ( Slayers) comes to mind when I imagine how funny Lee might end up sounding. They made Xellos sound like a sleazy car salesman, and at some points it worked, and others it didn't. *remembers Xellos screaming in pain in the dub and cringes* I can almost imagine them making Lee sound like Bruce Lee/Jackie Chan/etc. Or if not Lee, then Gai.

Lee Rock. I hate it. Maybe they'd cut out the Rock part alltogether. He'll just be Lee Lee.

Gaara's voice is gonna be Liam O'Brien (source Anime News Network) he did some things the only thing i recognize is Duel Masters season 2 which sucked IMO but i forgive him only because for Duel Masters he is trying to talk like the previous voice actor. so hopefully his "Gaara" voice is better and there are three names with no cast position yet. one of which does the voice for Brago on Zatch Bell. i thought Gaara when i first read it but now im thinkin more Gai, Neji, or Kabuto/Dao... i dunno

Somebody was complaining that Gaara was going to get a whispery voice but's what I'd been expecting when I read the manga. It was really weird hearing him with a deep voice.
I hope the Gaara has a light evil voice.
