The gold-eyed mare blinked and shook her head. “Err, no, thanks, nothing really springs to mind... Errr... Nice to meet you or something?” More like or something, but hey she still wanted to be in the mare’s good graces if she was going to try this Katilenuck thing... Ah, that would mean parting company from Spyke, which was a shame, but it couldn’t be helped. If this place and these people were the chance she’d been waiting for she certainly wasn’t going to pass them up. Wasn’t like she had to stay forever after all; she could leave every so often and seek him out if she did decide that this was the place for her.
Spyke glowered and remained silent, making himself feel somewhat better by picturing himself beating the drek out of the haughty b***h. Damn but he hated Katilenuck, and he’d only met one so far. For all he knew she might be one of the nice ones. Shuddering internally at that thought, the small stallion gave the brindled mare a baleful glare and waited for her to leave.

The brindled Jala nodded her head to the other feather-winged mare and set off past the pair without sparing the ichsa a glance. As she continued to walk away, she reached back carefully and snared his thoughts from among the stream of others. He was not, it seemed, especially happy with her. Smirking at his silent, ineffectual cursing and violent impulses, Undine picked her pace up to a swift trot; she had no time to waste. Her Seer powers were hardly to going to discover themselves after all, and she wanted to enjoy the fact that she wasn’t insane somewhere far away from snotty pointy-headed brats. Chucking to herself and pulling her mind away from the ichsa’s, Undine trotted onward and listened about herself for an interesting mind to investigate. This was going to be such fun.
